There were so many ideas that to implement them we needed a whole six months of time, a whole squadron of advisors and testers, as well as minor edits to the long-suffering Storm 2.8. And, we assure you, not all ideas were embodied in mod-pack 1.3.2 AT. If it weren’t for the ardent desire to please fans of the series and renew the interest in this wonderful game that had died out, we could easily get carried away and, bypassing all the intermediate stages, go directly to creating an add-on, which we carefully cultivate in a closed nursery on a remote Caribbean island archipelago.

Mod-pack 1.3.2 AT adds new adventures and makes available the long-time dream of fans of the series of games from the Seaward studio - playing as a pirate not only by vocation, but also by nature (“nation”). The fix contains a lot of nice additions and useful innovations.

Installation:
For the licensed version:
1. Remove the game from the disk
2. Uninstall StarForce drivers using this utility.
3. Install the original version of the game without launching it.
4. Install mod-pack 1.3.2 Adventure Tales for the game "Corsairs: City of Lost Ships".
5. Run the game without a disc!
6. Start a new game!
It's easy to bet on "Repacks" IT IS FORBIDDEN- nothing will work.

Important:
If the 1.3.2 Adventure Tales modpack is installed over an earlier version, be sure to delete the options file before starting a new game.
Start a new game in the main menu (and not through a previously used profile)!

It's called Add-don.
Seven Winds Team was developing an add-on for K3: Wind of Freedom, so we are looking forward to the new add-on.


Well, we think it’s time to show the cards. We were looking forward to the release of the game with the hope of continuing our free creativity by deciding to develop an add-on for this game. After some time, the situation with receiving scripts moved forward with a message on the studio’s official forum Seaward.Ru that applications for game scripts are being accepted. Ultimately, over a very long period of time, and not without difficulty, we still managed to get the scripts. But we will tell you about this a little later.

Now let's move on to the main part of this material - getting to know the new possibilities.

So, what are we preparing for players in our new project:

Even in our previous project, we wanted to create a variety of main characters so that any player could choose and even create a character to their liking. We made the process of choosing the main character visual so that the player could see what his main character looks like externally, instead of the usual display of a portrait.




Several lines of quests for each hero available to choose from in the game, in which we will meet new characters from the world of Corsairs, as well as meet heroes we already know.


Also, we will be able to decorate our ship as we see fit. Now we can set the sails we want on our ship, put our coat of arms on them...




And even choose the color of the case yourself.


From now on ours main character may end up in prison, where he will face correctional labor and a prison sentence. But if our captain is rich and lucky, there will be an opportunity to pay off.

About the team. From now on, they are no longer soulless puppets on strings, obeying the captain, no matter how cruel he may be. Now, if the crew is unhappy with you, they can simply run away with the ship while the brave captain spends the night in a tavern or has fun in a brothel. But, nevertheless, the opportunity to correct such violations and return the ship, while punishing the rebels, will be provided.


Separately, I would like to talk about the colony. We tried to develop the construction and maintenance of colonies as far as the Corsairs' framework and capabilities allow. Don't want a monotonous colony? You will be given the choice to determine the individual details of your colony yourself. Also, now to protect the colony you can create a garrison of soldiers whom we will select from our brave team. In addition, if the morale of the population is positive, there is a high probability that everyone who can hold a weapon in their hands will stand up to defend their homeland.

In addition, the player can even give the name of the colony himself.




The player will have the opportunity to create a military squadron that will monitor the defense of the island's coastline and be based in a special port.



To prevent our townspeople from starving to death, they need to bring food, as well as medicines to reduce the likelihood of epidemics. To do this, the colony will have the opportunity to build a warehouse, the capacity of which can be expanded if necessary.

Under certain circumstances, we will have the opportunity to become a planter. Sugar will be produced on the plantations. For the labor force, it will be necessary to deliver slaves, as well as a garrison that will monitor the workers and will be reliable protection if uninvited guests arrive at the plantation with the aim of plundering it. The efficiency of the workers will depend on the morale and their condition. If they have little food and medicine, the workers will be useless, and they will be tortured with riots. With effective work and expansion of the plantation, it will be possible to produce not only sugar, but also coffee.

When our colony prospers, we will be able to afford to build mines. Slaves, guards and supplies with medicine will also be needed there. There will be three types of ore - iron, silver and gold - depending on the level of the mines.


As you can see, we have a good surprise in store for economics lovers. But fans of bloody fights will not be left without gifts. Now the “Arena” has appeared on the Archipelago - a mysterious place with its own history.

There we will find deadly duels with the best fencers of the archipelago... And fights with the most mysterious creatures from all over the world, as well as the opportunity for a variety of training.



Many interesting quests await us, but it is impossible to keep all the nuances and game notes in our heads, so we have introduced the ability to make short entries in the ship’s log with our own hands. What kind of captain can be without a ship's log?

To carry all the stolen trinkets, our main character does not have enough pockets - for this we introduced backpacks into the game, which increase the maximum carried weight depending on their type.
Now the game has not only potions that replenish health, but also foods that replenish energy, because in battle it is no less important.


Now the bays have become a little more diverse, different rubbish has appeared in them, which enlivens the landscape and which, if desired, can be collected, because who knows what washed ashore with the tide along with the debris?
In addition, the game has such an interesting thing as a chest, which can contain anything! However, this chest is locked, and in order to discover its contents it is necessary to find someone who will pick up the keys to it.
However, who prevents us from becoming craftsmen ourselves?

And, of course, what is a game about the sea without ships? Our addition will not do without them. It is expected to fill both ships that are freely found at sea, as well as unique, with their own characteristics, military and pirate ships. There is a difficult path to go through in order to set foot on some masterpieces of shipbuilding... But the good old ships will also be rehabilitated, which, in our opinion, will not spoil the player’s pictures, but will only diversify the game.




And finally, there are many pleasant little things that affect the overall gameplay games - more varied voice acting of character lines, improved ambience in locations, the ability to resolve a dispute without swearing if a chest search fails, the ability to throw away unnecessary things, qualitative improvement in events such as treasure hunting, boarding and other things, and of course many small generated events, extortion and other mini-quests.

A new add-on for the game “Corsairs: City of Lost Ships” called “Corsairs: To Each His Own” by BlackMark Studio. The addition “Corsairs: To Each His Own”, like, in fact, all previous “Corsairs”, is a single-player game in RPG genre, there is no multiplayer. The game uses game engine Storm 2.8. The plot starts in 1654 and tells the backstory of the original game. The addon will also be filled with the romance of land and sea adventures of pirates in the 17th century. The plot is based on extensive historical material about that time, as well as the mythology of that era. Game process The addon differs from the original, first of all, in its greater replayability: plot branches and greater variety game world.

In addition, the player will be able to meet three new main characters. This is William Paterson, Charles de More, and the name of the third, whose image can be seen on the poster, is still unknown. Each main character has a unique legend and origin. Since the plot of the add-on “Corsairs: City of Lost Ships” is very diverse, each main character will have its own unique sequence of events. In the application, the models of all minor characters have been significantly redesigned. Their total number increased to 450. The number of officers increased to 30, and the system of their recruitment changed. In the addon, significant attention was paid to weapons, so models of all blades were created based on real prototypes.

Also now the main character will be able to purchase and use muskets and guns in battle. Algorithms for calculating damage, model ranges and ammunition registers were completely redesigned. Now they are more consistent with the historical realities of that time. The ships were also redesigned to better suit their real prototypes. Many textures have been significantly reworked, now they look more realistic. The characteristics of ships, like the characteristics of weapons, will be generated randomly. A variety of loot and numerous artifacts have also been completely updated. New terrain maps were modeled, as well as new interfaces. All cards can now be collected in Atlas. Various names and designations have been Russified; they fully correspond to the names of the 17th century. The game balance has been greatly improved by changing various mechanisms, algorithms and calculation systems.
