Dark Orbit ports. DarkOrbit ports - detailed description. Review and descriptions of alien ships Dark Orbit Dark orbit mobs

Hello!

Every gamer who first begins to conquer the Darkorbit universe faces a task: to gain maximum experience and as many resources as possible.

Consequently, you will devote most of your time to grinding and farming.

To reduce time consumption, we have written this guide. In it we will describe in detail those techniques for destroying mobs that work most effectively.

Secrets and techniques are divided into four approximately equal parts. Well, let's get started.

Use the Carousel tactic

The fastest and most effective results are shown by a tactic called “Carousel”. With its help you will quickly defeat enemy ships.

This name fully reflects your actions. When killing mobs, just circle around them and attack them with all your weapons. If an enemy projectile reaches you, simply increase the distance and circle further.

The tactic works because mobs are not good at fighting over long distances, and players have an advantage in this.

Just decide what distance is safest for you, take it and shoot. But we warn you: if you freeze for a few seconds, you will become easy prey for the mob.

By constantly moving, you prevent the enemy from launching an attack, and during this time you will quickly restore your defense.

Constantly change your ship's configurations as you attack. This is especially important when you are fighting such strong bosses as Zibelon or Crystallon.

Just watch who you hit. Each enemy ship has its own attack range. Therefore, choose the distance that is more suitable for a particular battle.

When a mob approaches you, move away from it. Game Dark Orbit allows you to retreat while shooting back.

We kill mobs in the port.

Tactics allow you to destroy enemy ships using the port. The main goal: to attract the mob to the port, kill him and rob him.

But even here several dangers await you, although not so great. One of them is that the mob can be destroyed by other players in the port.

There are two similar methods in this tactic. The first involves jumping, and the second does without them. We will now show both methods.

Kill mobs using jumps. Attract the mob's attention. Fly to the port, constantly attacking the ship. Having reached the port, return back using acceleration (J key). Consider the possibility that the mob may have protection.

If the mob has full health, then you are likely to lose the battle. Therefore, he recommends removing at least half of his HP.

Kill mobs without using jump. It is similar to the previous one, but with a feature to make the game easier for beginners.

Attract the mob to the port without stopping attacking it. When you are near the port, stop attacking. When the enemy retreats, attack him with lasers. Do this several times until you destroy the mob.

Fight mobs one on one

Let's combine all the knowledge from past tactics into one and use it for the best effect. The tactics are as follows.

You need to choose one in the crowd of mobs and pull him out. And then just destroy it.

The techniques described here will give you space and help you in the game. Using them, you will quickly gain the necessary experience and improve your ships. And then you will move on.

Stay with us, subscribe to updates. In the following guides, many more secrets will be revealed to you.

Minimal information about the ports was published. Now, as promised, our website publishes detailed data about all dark orbit ports, including profitability, difficulty of passing ports and everything else.

The data is given without taking into account designs and various types of stimulants!

Bottom line: The reward for the ports is tasty (especially for the gamma), but they are more expensive to collect than other ports, which we will analyze further.

Epsilon port

Port reward:

5,000,000 Experience
150,000 Honor
25,000 Uridium
20.000 (UCB-100)
10 log disks
5 Keys to pirate trophies.
There is approximately a 50% chance that you will get LF-4. But this 50% does not apply to all passed ports, but to each one separately.

Reward from mobs:

As you can see, the port is light and, accordingly, the reward for it is the same, small.

Port Zetta

Reward for completing GG Zeta:
6,000,000 Experience
200,000 Honor
50 log disks
35,000 Uridium
25 Keys to Pirate Booty
25.000 UCB-100
There is approximately a 50% chance that you will receive the Havoc droid design. But this 50% does not apply to all passed ports, but to each one separately.

Reward from mobs:

As we can see, the port is quite light, but the reward is quite interesting. It costs about 1200-1400 additional energy. Distinctive feature is that you can get a havoc.

Kappa Port

Reward:
15,000 URIs received!
Laser ammunition received: 30,000, type: UCB-100
Log disks received (10 pcs.).
Trophy keys received: 5
Experience gained: 9,000,000
Honor credited: 325,000 points.

There is also a 25% chance to receive one of the super prizes:

New design for the Hercules droid! By equipping your droid with it, the shield generators on it will receive 15% of their shield energy. Hint: if you equip all droids with the Hercules design, you can get an additional 20% bonus to the ship's HP!

New multi-booster! It gives a 5% bonus to damage dealt, experience points and shields for 5 hours of play. Hint: these bonuses count in addition to other boosters.

One of the rare LF4 laser cannons.

Mob reward:

The port is very profitable, if you have collected all the munchies, then go through the caps, because... the reward is good, a chance to get lf4 (this loot often drops).

Port of medium complexity.

Lambda port

Reward:
15,000 URIs received!
Laser ammunition received: 10,000, type: UCB-100
Log disks received (3 pcs.).
Trophy keys received: 5

Reward from mobs:

The port is very light and can be assembled very quickly, but the reward for it is modest.

Galaxy Gates "Kronos" port

This port is assembled in a special way. Kronos consists of 21 parts, but these parts can only be obtained by going through the remaining 8 ports.

Reward for passing this port:
12,000,000 Experience

500 UBR-100
15 log disks
10 keys to pirate trophies
250 Extra Energy
Chance to receive a design for the Goliath "Saturn"
Honorary title
+ reward for mobs.

Bottom line: The port is very attractive, but it is not assembled like everyone else, and it takes quite a long time.

GG Delta port

Features of this port:

— Port Delta is not a monotonous killing of mobs as in alpha, beta and gamma, here in one room there are 2 or 3 waves of different mobs of different strengths;
— mobs in the delta now have the ability, when flying into a corner, to restore not only their shields, but also their strength, and also return after repair;
— the shot range is almost the same as that of the player;
— during an attack, all mobs do not stand still, but try to spin the player by flying around him;
— the strength and vitality of mobs in Delta differ from ordinary mobs that can be found on regular maps;
— unlike simple ports, at the end you have to fight a new mob.

Port reward:

9,000,000 experience
225,000 honor
45,000 uridium
45.000 UCB-50 (squirrel)
450 xenomite
450 promerium (gold)
5 repair coupons

10th room:
Unknown mob, unknown reward.

Bottom line: An interesting and dynamic port, challenging, and the reward is very good.

I often see how many players struggle with destroying aliens (mobs). So I decided to write some ways for beginners to beat these same mobs. I want to say right away that I in no way take credit for the authorship of these methods, I only generalized and combined into one whole the entire experience and posts of other respected players.

----
"""1. "Parking". """

You find and “grab” a mob (alien), drag it to the port or next to it (you can park in the entire security zone). Then, you force the mob to stop next to you, at this moment damage is dealt to you, so you need to arm yourself well with shields. After the mob has stopped, carefully move away to the right, left or back from it until it is almost beyond the edge of the game screen. The message “You have escaped the attack” will start to pop up, although the mob’s shots will still hit your ship, but will no longer cause damage, so keep an eye on your ship to catch this moment. As soon as you stand in this place, you should stop, stand and continue to beat the mob. When he has only a little strength left, he will run away, all that remains is to finish him off. When finishing off, you can walk strictly behind him at a distance and shoot; if you select the distance successfully, the mob will not shoot back.

1. You can park all mobs except Lordakium (jellyfish, dumplings), Crystallons and Cubecons.

2. You can start learning to park even on a “dropper” with Lordacia, and if you are on a “Nostroma”, then on a Simon, or even on a Devolarian.

3. While parking, your shields are restored, and there is a chance that you will take a short nap if the repairman processor is installed.

4. Please note that when parking, you are removed from the security zone, which means you can be attacked and assaulted.

5. If, when parking, you move away from the mob a little more than necessary, the mob will move away and you will have to park again

"""2. Waltz spinning. """

This method is used against all mobs away from the port and safe zone. It is done like this:

We grab the mob and fly away from it a little further, at shooting distance;

Now, shooting at it, we begin to circle around it at high speed, clockwise or counterclockwise, as is convenient for you. If everything is done correctly, the mobs will stop shooting at you, and your shields will begin to recover after a certain period of time;

If, after all, the mob starts shooting at you or suddenly stops and is shooting at you with all its might, then just fly a little further and continue circling around it;

When circling the “waltz”, you can use rockets along with shooting by holding the spacebar, but sometimes a glitch appears, the laser beams are not visible, although in reality shooting is being carried out and damage is caused to the mob. This is because you flew a little further than the range of the missiles, in this case just turn off and turn on shooting again (Ctrl);

This method can be used even in a crowd of mobs, since they also stop shooting at you or only shoot occasionally, thus, by destroying one mob and immediately grabbing another, you can destroy a much larger number of mobs in the same time than with other methods;

If you beat a strong mob in this way, for example Devolarium, Zibelon, Lordacium and Crystallon, then use a change of configurations ("C" key): when circling, speed confit, when finishing off, shield confit. Read about setting up configurations in the relevant topics.

"""3. Dragging around. """

This method involves constantly moving away from the mob as it approaches, continuously shooting at it, thereby maintaining a certain distance between you and the mob. The fact is that each mob has its own firing range, but your ship’s range is still greater. In addition, with this method you can simultaneously collect bonus boxes around. Finishing off occurs in the same way as in all other cases.

"""4. Dragging through the port. """

When fighting a strong mob, you can use the method of dragging through the port.
There are two ways: with a jump and without a jump. But first I’ll tell you what happens to the mob during such actions. When a mob approaches a safe zone and if at that moment you no longer shoot, although you hit him before, then he seems to “get sick”, losing his sight on you, which forces him to stop shooting and fly wherever his eyes are looking. During his “illness” you can hit him with all your might, but you should take into account that at any moment he can “recover”, and it is quite difficult to predict where he will fly. And now the methods themselves.

A) without jumping.
First, use the drag method, dragging it towards the port. When approaching it, you should turn off shooting and wait for the mob to approach the port. As soon as the mob starts running away from you and the port, turn on shooting again. You should try the exact time to stop firing in practice; sooner or later you yourself will understand at what point you need to turn off the firing. There is a big disadvantage to this method: while you stop shooting, some other player may start attacking your mob, which will ultimately lead to the mob switching to him. In my opinion, it is preferable to use the second method, with a jump.

B) with a jump.
At first, you also use dragging behind you, bringing the mob straight to the port. At the port, without turning off shooting, you jump into the port and immediately back, immediately press fire (Ctrl), catch up with him and continue to beat the already “sick” mob. When the mob “recovers,” you can repeat all this again.

Jumps should be done very quickly, without delay, otherwise your mob may be intercepted. Best used for jumping hotkey"J";

This method is best used at the end of the battle with a mob, at the beginning using dragging or parking, and when he is almost “ready” quickly use jumping and start finishing off the already “sick” mob.

----
I told you about some ways to beat mobs, but everyone can add something of their own to these actions. Very often, the game uses a mixed set of all these methods: first, dragging, with elements of a “waltz,” then parking or jumping over the port... In a word, each player acts in accordance with a specific situation.
I hope the descriptions of all these methods will help many newbies to the game.

"""4. "Catching" a mob from the crowd ."""

To grab one mob from the pile without losing a lot of health, you can use the mini-map navigation. It works like this: you fly a little further from the crowd, then using the mini-map you set a course that runs a little to the side and further from the movement of the mobs, and when you fly past them, take aim at one. Then beat him using one of the methods you have chosen.
There is another way. Also fly away from the crowd, aim your mouse at the corner of the screen where the mobs should appear. As soon as your mouse arrow has turned into a “hand”, click it and begin the attack.

Each player is given one main goal - to gain as much experience as possible at the initial stage and collect as many resources as possible. Most of all your actions will come down to fights with mobs, so in order for this time to pass as quickly as possible with maximum impact, we advise you to familiarize yourself with the basic techniques of fighting against mobs. In this guide, we described the main secrets of destroying mobs, which any player can use. We conditionally divided them into 4 groups, based on our own experience.

Tactics for killing mobs inDark Orbit– “Carousel”

The simplest and effective method killing enemy ships at the initial stage is using a tactic called “carousel”. Its name literally describes the behavior of the player! When killing mobs, you must constantly be on the move, flying in a circle around them.

Typically, you first select a specific enemy ship to attack. You fly up to it to be noticed and fly away a short distance. Start cutting circles around the mob and at the same time shoot at it, both from lasers and from cannons. If an enemy ship hits you, then fly even further, continuing to cut circles.

The fact is that in Dark Orbit the mobs do not have high power and shoot at a relatively short distance. You, even in the initial ships, have guns by default that are much larger than the distance indicators. All that remains is to choose the gap that will be between you and the mob and cut circles. It is important! If you stop, the enemy ship will launch a full-scale attack on you. If you are constantly on the move and at the same time moving in a circle, then the mob will simply stop shooting, and you can quickly restore protective shields.

And don't forget to alternate your ship's configuration when attacking. This is very important point, especially if the fight is against Zibelon or Crystallon (examples of strong bosses).

Effectively destroying mobs by retreating

The next most effective tactic is retreat. Moreover, oddly enough, it intersects with the “carousel” tactic. You must destroy all mobs only from a distance, while taking into account which mob is against you. Some ships have a higher rate of fire and range, others have a lower one. Accordingly, a certain distance is selected for each mob.

If a mob flies towards you, fly back. In Dark Orbit, you can do this in reverse, while shooting at enemies with targeted fire.

DarkOrbit: Tactics for killing mobs in the port

This is a separate tactic that interacts directly with the port. Your main task is to drag the mob into the port, so to speak, to press it “in the corner” in order to quickly kill it and take all the resources. But there are several pitfalls here, although not particularly significant:

  1. It is not always easy to drag an enemy ship into port;
  2. Sometimes in the port the mobs will kill you faster than you.

Tactics are also divided into 2 methods: using jumping and attacking without jumping. We will look at each of them in detail.

Killing mobs with a jump. Choose any mob and fly up to it, forcing them to pay attention to your ship. Next, fly to the port, while shooting at the ship. As soon as you fly into the port, you immediately fly out of there by holding down the J key (acceleration when jumping). Here it is worth considering the fact that the mob may be with full level protection. And if you drag him to the port with 80-100% health, then there is a high probability of losing the battle. We advise you, before luring a mob to the port, make it fly after you and destroy half of the defense.

Killing mobs without jumping. The tactics, in principle, are not very different from the previous one, but for beginners it will be somewhat easier. You lure the mob to the port, while constantly shooting at it. As soon as the port is near you, immediately stop shooting. At this moment the enemy ship will begin to retreat. Immediately activate the lasers and launch an attack on the mob. Repeat several times until the ship is destroyed!

Destruction of mobswith one-on-one tactics

The tactics described below can be combined with all the others, so be sure to use them for effective passage at first. Your main task is to pull one out of a bunch of ships and tear it away from the main mass, so that you can quickly kill it. Select mobs on the map and fly up to them so that the flight path passes to the side of them. You fly up to the enemy ship at such a distance that it notices you, and begin to lead you. Next is a matter of technology. Choose any of the three tactics described above and the job is done!
