He doesn’t want to start a fight first; he’ll have to provoke him, or attack him after a conversation in the city.
Duel
The Ebony Warrior may prove to be a very difficult opponent, since:
- Has 50% resistance to all elements.
- Immune to paralyzing, freezing and immobilizing spells/Screams.
- Has armor with powerful enchantments.

In this battle, the Shout “Dragon Incarnate” with all the words learned in it will be useful, as it gives several useful bonuses: it enhances other Shouts, increases armor and weapon damage.
If the fight takes place on a cliff, then you should use the “Ruthless Force” Shout - a fall from a height will cause very serious damage... and to both opponents.
For melee fighters, learning the Living Hammer ability in the Blocking skill branch will be extremely useful. This ability will allow you to constantly knock down an Ebony Warrior using a shield push and damage him with impunity while he rises (however, you need to monitor your stamina level).
In addition, you can use Mehrunes' Razor, which gives a small chance of instantly killing an enemy.
If the protagonist is a magician or archer, then the spell “Summon Arnel's Shadow” will help defeat the Ebony Warrior. Arnel's Shadow is invulnerable, so it can distract the enemy for a long period of time. The hero can freely attack from a distance while the Warrior is busy with the summoned shadow.

Bugs

Ebony Warrior

He was a Nord, he looked to be about forty years old, he had blond hair and green eyes, and he also wore a medium-sized beard. He was wearing armor made of dragon scales , the most interesting part of the armor was the helmet, which was decorated with four horns. I told him that I wanted to die with honor and that only in battle with him was this possible. He agreed to accept my challenge. I told him to get ready and went to my last post. He didn't keep me waiting long and arrived a quarter of a day later than me. He held a crossbow in his hands and aimed at me. I managed to cover myself with a shield, but it turned out to be an explosive bolt, it didn’t do much damage to me, but it was followed by another, then another and another, suddenly the attacks stopped, and my opponent came quite close to me and quickly pulled out the blade. I was shocked when I saw it, because this is the legendary razor of Mirunes, which means that any blow could be fatal to me. I decided to use a scream and knock this terrible weapon out of the enemy’s hands. - Zun Hal Vik! - I shouted and the terrible weapon fell from the enemy’s hands. He was not for a second surprised by my knowledge of dragon screams and therefore was able to escape from my counterattack immediately after the scream. - Fus Ro Yes! - Dovahkiin shouted and I was thrown back with terrible force, he took advantage of this to take out a weapon and get close to me, his ruthless strength far exceeded mine in power, but still I was able to find the strength in myself to quickly get up and parry the blow. We met in battle. His attacks were quite fast, but I managed to defend myself. My opponent did not use a shield and I considered this as an advantage over him. But still, he wounded me first, it was just a scratch in the thigh. Then I wounded him, piercing his right shoulder. And yet he continued the fight, not paying attention to the wound. I decided to throw the enemy back with another scream. - Fus Ro Yes! - we shouted at the same time, I was thrown to the edge of the mountain, and he was thrown onto the rocks. I was the first to get to my feet and saw how my opponent stood up, threw his sword to the side and walked towards me. I decided to answer his challenge and also got rid of the weapon. The fist fight with Dovahkiin turned out to be beyond all expectations. He was very strong and quite quickly figured out my weak side, namely that I don’t defend well on the left. Using this knowledge, he was able to carry out a series of quite powerful attacks on me, the blows to the liver area were especially unpleasant. But this did not stop me from using my advantage over him - his wounded shoulder. During his next attack, I was able to dodge and twist his arm, and then proceed to strangulation. Dovahkiin had already begun to lose consciousness, but my friend began to become furious and try to free himself from my grip, I could no longer hold him. I already understood what was happening and decided to use the spells of ebony armor and the summoned sword. My opponent turned into a werewolf. These creatures are very strong and fast, but fortunately, in order to continue to remain in beast form, they need to feed quite often. All I had to do was hold out until I turned back. The beast's attacks were very fast, I did not always have time to dodge or cover myself with a shield. Magic armor saved me from missed blows. But when the spell ended, he hit me in the chest and I flew several meters away. I already thought that I wouldn’t have time to get up, but I was lucky and it was at that moment that the reverse transformation began. The Dovahkiin, like me, is already exhausted. It seems that turning into a beast has some kind of negative effect on a person. He fell on the snow and, breathing heavily, looked at me. I tried to get up, but I couldn’t do it anymore and my opponent understood this. Having rested a little, he got to his feet, took out a crossbow from behind his back and, approaching me, fired the last shot. My soul left my body. After killing me, he lay down in the snow and thought about something for some time. Then he got up, collected all his weapons and went on to his adventure. Now this is his story.
