Exceed Gaming: completing the second part of the Black Mountain adventure in heroic mode. Hearthstone: Blackrock Mountain Completion Guide Game Strategy Against Garr

Hearthstone is one of the most popular card games today. computer games, which eclipsed even the legendary Magic: The Gathering. Here you need to form your own card decks, consisting of creatures of various powers, various spells, and so on. You can both fight with friends and people on the Internet, and go through the story campaign. One of the most difficult sections is the Black Mountain. And this article will discuss complete walkthrough"Black Mountain". Hearthstone is an exciting project, and even this element will give you a lot of pleasant experiences. But only if you can create a competent deck and manage it correctly. In total, at this stage you will have to fight with 17 bosses in order to successfully complete the passage of Black Mountain. Hearthstone isn't the easiest game to learn, so this guide will come in handy.

Koren

How you build your deck will determine how you complete Black Mountain. Hearthstone is a game that makes you think, and the very first boss will let you know that. It works quite interestingly - at the beginning of each turn, Koren draws two random creatures from his deck, and one from yours, thus creating an advantage for himself. Your chance is to create a deck exclusively from the strongest creatures, and also dilute them with spells that will help you cope with the superior forces of your opponent.

Judge Gloomstone

If you can deal with the first boss quite easily with the correct formation of the deck, then already on the second one your passage of “Black Mountain” may stall. Hearthstone does not spare its players, so the Gloomstone at the start has four mana crystals at once, and before each turn it has a guardian with minimal attack and defense, which diverts damage to itself. Here you will have to rely more on magic, as well as on luck, without which it will be difficult.

Emperor Thaurissan

What does the passage of “Black Mountain” have in store for you next? The Hearthstone deck should always be selected individually for each boss - for example, the third boss is one of the strongest in the campaign, since next to him is his wife with a unit of health. As soon as she dies, the boss becomes exponentially stronger and is capable of killing you with one hit. That's why key card here is the one who can swap the damage and defense stats for his wife.

Garr

Completing “Blackrock: Hearthstone” on the normal difficulty level is already causing difficulties, but at a more high levels everything will turn into a real nightmare, so until you have collected very strong cards and learned how to use them, go to new level complexity is not recommended. You won’t be able to defeat even Garr, because on normal difficulty he has 45 health units and starts with seven creatures at once, which, upon death, deal three units of damage to everyone for each dead creature of this type.

Geddon

How does the passage of “Black Mountain: Hearthstone” develop further? Heroic mode pits you against the Dark Baron, who not only has incredible survivability and armor, but also deals ten points of damage to you every turn when you don't spend all your mana, but try to save it. Therefore, you will have to use less powerful cards that could be spent in one turn, that is, press with quantity rather than quality - and the Warlock hero will help you the most with this.

Executus

Walkthrough of "Black Mountain: Hearthstone" basic decks is possible, but seems very difficult - as mentioned above, you are better off constructing the decks yourself. And at the same time, understand the features of the enemy’s deck - for example, when Executus’s health drops below 20 units, it summons a fire giant to the table, so you will need to kill it immediately, avoiding a situation in which the boss will receive a lot of damage, but will not die.

Omokk

As you already understood, the passage of “Blackrock: Hearthstone” on heroic mode- this is far from the easiest task. And every time you face more and more difficult bosses. For example, Omokk destroys a random player creature from the table at the beginning of each of his turns. You can cope with this by summoning a large number of small creatures - and, naturally, with magical support, because otherwise the small creatures will not be enough to defeat the boss.

Drakissat

Drakissath is the next general you'll encounter in Blackrock: Hearthstone. Heroic." The basic difficulty level will make it easier to complete, but in any case this boss will be quite difficult for anyone. The difficulty of the boss lies in the fact that all creatures are equal in price to one unit of mana - even the most powerful of them. But at the same time, you can only play one card from your hand per turn, which significantly narrows your options.

Rend

As for this boss, you may have problems with him due to the fact that each turn he can use various skills - they are all focused on summoning, and not all the creatures he summons are strong. But look at the dragon that Rand can summon every four turns - it has 8 attack and 8 defense, so it is quite strong. You need abilities that will help you deal well with a large number of enemy creatures.

Razordeath

This boss is dangerous because eggs with defense 3 appear on the field, which after a while hatch into quite strong dragons. You can deal with them by putting together a fairly fast deck, that is, it should include cards that you can instantly play, and not accumulate mana on them every time. This way you can get rid of the eggs before they turn into full-fledged dragons, thereby depriving the boss of his main weapon.

Valastrasz

The confrontation with this boss should also under no circumstances be delayed, because every turn he receives a bonus unit of mana, which, under the current conditions, will give him an impressive advantage in just a dozen moves. What are the circumstances? The fact is that in a battle with him, instead of one card, you will receive three for each turn - but the boss will also receive the same. So you need to be able to remove cards from your opponent's hand, as well as play a large number of your cards in one turn.

Chromaggus

This boss has a very unpleasant habit - he constantly throws into your hands cards that are negative for you and positive for him from his own deck. Therefore, your task is to quickly seize control of the field, and also use those creatures that can also benefit from negative spells, for example,

Victor Nefariy

The strength of this boss lies in the fact that he is full of a wide variety of powerful creatures, which he will throw at you from the very beginning, because by the second turn he will have as many as ten units of mana available to him. So you again need to rely on destroying cards from your opponent's hand, and also on the fact that you can last long enough to the point where you also have a decent amount of mana to summon powerful creatures.

Omnitron

This protective system summons quite unusual robots, each of which has its own properties. Three out of four robots are not very pleasant, and you just need to survive them somehow, but one of them is your salvation. After all, it makes the cost of all spells lower by three units of mana. So you need to rely on spells, the most important of which should be freeze - you just need it to come to you before the sixth turn.

Maloriak

Many gamers believe that this boss is the most difficult in the entire campaign, and there is good reason for this. Firstly, he can quite often summon very good fighters with three units of attack and defense. Secondly, he can increase both attack and defense by two units, and he can do this not only for these bonus minions, but also for all his creatures in principle. Well, thirdly, he can change the defense and attack of any creature, so you will have to try very hard to deal with him. Therefore, concentrate on those cards that can remove creatures from the opponent’s table and quickly restore the supply of cards in your hand.

Antramed

This boss is also quite difficult, but its difficulty is one-dimensional - it has special weapon, which acts as a half-hero, half-minion. And every card you play gives that creature an extra attack point. In general, you will have to fight with all your might against this weapon, gradually weakening it and sacrificing your weak creatures, so that after destroying the bonus it will be much easier to deal with the boss himself.

Nefarian

Well, the last boss that ends the passage of “Black Mountain: Hearthstone” is Nefarian. This boss is very cunning - as soon as you destroy all his armor, he will summon another heroine in his place, who will have a good supply of health and cause serious damage, increasing during each turn. Dealing with this will not be easy, so it is better not to lead to such a challenge. Just save up cards, think through effective combinations, and when the opportunity arises, use them in such a way as to immediately remove both armor and health (for this, you can sharpen the armor in advance).

). From this guide you will find out which decks you can use to defeat this boss in normal and heroic mode.

Garr is a very easy boss. The main problem is represented by the 7 Firestones that he puts out at the beginning of the battle. Garr periodically damages them with his Hero Power (Magma Pulse), and if they die at the same time, your hero will take heavy damage. To prevent this, use base maps, which cause damage when they appear on the field. As a result, Firestones with different health levels will die on different turns.

After clearing the Firestones, you will be able to gain control of the board. Remember that any creature with 1 unit. health will die on the next turn. Once you put out big minions (Ogre Boulderfist, Champion of Stormwind and especially Gurubashi Berserker), the boss will die very quickly.

Decks against Garr (heroic)

Best Option: Budget Priest Deck

The main problem is represented by the 7 Firestones that the boss places at the beginning of the battle. Firestones deal 3x more damage than normal and will kill you very quickly if you don't do anything.

Your best bet would be to use a Priest deck with Mass Dispel. Firestones with Silence do not pose any threat, and you will be able to follow your plan without hindrance. In addition to Mass Dispersal, this deck has a powerful card draw mechanism, as a result of which you can quickly finish off the boss. In this fight, it is very important to quickly get Mass Dispel to deal with Firestones, as well as cards for the final combo.

After using Mass Dispel, deploy Deathlord or Shadow of Naxxramas, then buff them with Velen's Chosen, Power Word: Shield, Divine Spirit, and Inner Fire to finish off the boss in one or two turns.

Suggest your decks for passing Garr and we will add them to this guide.

Hello, here you are again dShadow, today I will tell you about the decks that I used to complete the second part of the adventure Black Mountain. This time we're going to Molten Core, where we will be confronted by three bosses:

Garr, Baron Geddon and Majordomo Executus.
In this article, I will immediately move on to describing the strategy for completing bosses in Heroic mode. The created decks do not contain cards with a rarity higher than "epic" (however, cards from the Naxxramas adventure are used here), therefore, they will not be difficult to assemble.

Garr

The boss, as in normal mode, starts the battle with 7 Firestones, which will already deal 3 damage for each Firestone that dies this turn. The boss's ability remained the same - 1 damage to all creatures, but Garr's health has changed, Garr now has 45 units.

To win, we need a deck that can put the Silence effect on enemy Firestones. Priest is the best choice, as this class has the most effective and cheapest Silence cards.

If you cannot use Mass Dispersal on turn 4, restart the match, you will not win without this card. Managing this deck is quite simple: fry Nerubian Eggs and Servants of Pain, defend with Young Exorcist, and when the boss summons new Firestones, use Silence or Ironbeak on them. This deck is very effective against this boss, you won't need many tries to beat it.

Walkthrough video:

Baron Geddon

In heroic mode, this boss has acquired impressive health, in total you have to deal him 100 damage, not taking into account his ability to increase armor using a card familiar to us from the battle with Emperor Taurisan— Fiery heart. Boss ability - Mana Ignite, now deals 10 damage if we leave unspent mana.

To win, every turn we must use all available mana, as well as cope with the huge number of Living Bombs that the boss will use on our creatures.

At the beginning of the game, we leave any cards that we can use on the first turn and early creatures.

The strategy is simple: on the first turn we use a card for 1 mana, on the 2nd - a hero’s ability, on the 3rd - a card for 1 mana and a hero’s ability or a card for 3 mana, and so on. At the same time, we try to save our creatures from death and do not let our opponent occupy the table. The fight is quite long, but if you manage to get an advantage at the beginning, this boss won't give you too much trouble.

Walkthrough video:

Majordomo Executus

Last Molten Core boss V heroic mode Summons 3/3 minions and has an additional 15 armor. But this is not the most important change compared to the normal regime. The most important thing is Ragnaros, who appears after defeating Majordomo, he already has 30 units of health and 30 armor, and his ability is to inflict 8 units of damage to a random enemy character, doing this twice. The battle with such an enemy is clearly not worth prolonging.

For the third time we turn to the priest for help, cards of this class are best suited for defeating the fire lord. Walkthrough video:

Molten Core didn't turn out to be as much fun (where are these fire elementals compared to Dark Iron Dwarf), but the developers showed some interesting mechanics that are fun to come up with special decks against.

That's all, I wish you good luck in inventing decks with new cards and see you in Blackrock Spire, which awaits us next week.

Molten Core, the second wing of Blackrock Mountain, opened earlier this week. The intrepid adventurers encountered Garr, Baron Geddon, Majordomo Executus and Ragnaros. Which deck to choose for each boss and how to fight them? We'll tell you in this guide.

Garr

Remember these gloomy regulars who appeared in the last wing? They will be useful against Garr. You are facing a battle with a deck consisting almost entirely of firestones. When a Firestone dies, it deals 1 damage to you for each Firestone that died during the last turn.

Well, yes, Garr’s heroic ability is “Magma Pulse”. On top of this, he summons three new Firestones if there are none on the board. If you don't want to play a warrior against Garr, then I would recommend a priest deck. The main components will be “Circle of Healing” and “Mass Dispel”.

The Druid of Flame will become available immediately after Garr is overthrown. The flexibility that Druid provides - having a meaty 2/5 creature, or a 5/2 damage cannon may seem attractive at first, but in the end this Druid will be useless compared to other cards that cost the same mana. No Druid deck owner will want to have him in their main deck.

Baron Geddon

Baron's Heroic ability will force you to use your mana quickly and efficiently, or else you will take a lot of damage from mana ignite. A warlock deck led by Mal'Ganis will greatly simplify the passage of this boss. Also, other cards that can cover you will help against the baron's heroic ability in those moments when you are not able to use all the mana.

The reward for the baron is a Blackwing technician. This card is useless right now, as most of the cards needed to complete this style of deck are unavailable because the other wings of Blackrock are still closed.

Majordomo Executus and Ragnaros

The last boss of the wing is the majordomo. His heroic ability? It's called "Majordomo" and summons 1/3 of the Pyro Acolytes on Normal difficulty. Once you deal with the majordomo, the game is not over. Ragnaros will be summoned and immediately take his place. Ragnaros has 8 health and 8 armor, so you'll need 16 damage.

Defeating Majordomo Executus and Ragnaros will give you access to a legendary card that has a very interesting deathrattle that turns you into Ragnaros with 8 health and a heroic ability that deals 8 damage to a random enemy target.

I wouldn't recommend using it in a competitive deck. When I see an opponent throw a Majordomo onto the board, I focus completely on him to quickly cut the opponent's health down to 8, turning him into Ragnaros, and then down to zero.

Molten Core is the second part of the Blackrock Adventure. The next three bosses will be waiting for you in this wing. And you will receive the next 4 copies of the map after defeating them! We're confident that thanks to our guides, you've already defeated all the bosses in Blackrock Depths, which means you can move on!

Garr

Garr is the first boss of Molten Core. His hero power - Magma Pulse - deals one point of damage to all creatures on the table. This ability costs one mana crystal, and Garr himself will use it at the beginning of each of his turns. He, like most other bosses, has two unique cards - this is a blast! and Firestone.

  • Rock crusher x2
  • Lava Shock x2
  • Wildlife Sign x2
  • Druid of Flame x2
  • Pyro x1
  • Go ahead! x3

  • Dark Iron Dwarf x2
  • Fireguard Destroyer x2
  • Bloodlust x2
  • Crazed Demoman x2
  • Fire elemental x2
  • [Core Hound] x2
  • Volcanic Treant x2

Strategy for playing against Garr

The confrontation with Garr will be built around firestones. Garr will start the game with 7 summoned Firestones on the board and will use his Hero Power each turn. If you do nothing, you will receive 49 points of damage by the beginning of the fifth turn.

The game strategy against Garr will be based on destroying these firestones, but not all at once, but one by one, in order to reduce the amount of damage they can cause to you. Kill one each turn, silence them, steal them (with Mental Technique), heal them eventually, but don't let Garr destroy more than three firestones in one turn.

The Priest will look best in a confrontation with Garr. With just one card - Circle of Healing - you can delay your death by 4 turns. And a card like Mass Dispersal will not only completely neutralize the threat that Firestone poses to you, but also leave Garr's entire board filled with unnecessary creatures. As a consequence of the latter, this boss will be able to do practically nothing and will powerlessly burn his cards, while you can easily turn the tide of the game in your favor.

It is desirable to have cards such as Gurubashi Berserker, Enraged Worgen and Amani Berserker - these creatures will help you deal a huge amount of damage to the opponent’s hero. And cards like Servant of Pain and Northshire Cleric will relieve you of your card shortage. So, having combined last card With Circle of Healing early in the game, you can draw about eight cards, which turns out to be more than enough.

Reward

The reward for completing Garr in normal mode The game will have two copies of the Druid class card Druid of Flame.

Baron Geddon

Baron Geddon's hero power - Mana Ignite - allows the boss to deal 5 points of damage to the opponent's hero if he has unspent mana crystals left. The Baron also has two unique cards - Living Bomb and Fiery Heart.

Baron Geddon deck

  • Druid of Flame x2
  • Fire elemental x2
  • Fireguard Destroyer x3
  • Lava burst x2
  • Lava Shock x2
  • Fire imp x2
  • The leader of the gang of demons x2
  • Hellfire x2
  • [Magma Fury] x2
  • Fire giant x2
  • Fiery heart x2
  • Pyro x2
  • Living bomb x5

Strategy for playing against Baron Geddon

Despite the hero power of the boss, as well as 5 copies of Living Bomb cards, Baron Geddon is not a very difficult opponent and can be easily overcome by any aggro deck with a dense mana curve. Make sure you don't have any unused mana crystals. Also keep Ironbeak and Young Brewmaster handy for when the Baron starts using Living Bomb.

You should also remember that this boss has one massive removal spell - Hellfire. Try to play around it, leaving your minions at 4 or more health, or play minions that Hellfire can't do anything to (Nerubian Egg, Haunted Crawler, Vanguard Squire). In general, I repeat, playing against Geddon is easy and simple - following the above tips, victory will not be long in coming.

Reward

After winning, you will be given two copies of the Blackwing Technician card, which cannot be disenchanted.

Majordomo Executus (Ragnaros)

This is the final boss of the second wing of the Black Mountain adventure. Majordomo's Hero Power - Majordomo - allows the hero to summon [Fire Acolyte] onto the battlefield for 2 mana. After you remove all health from Executus, Ragnaros will be summoned in his place with eight health indicators and the ability DIE, INSECT!. The Majordomo has one unique card - [Arsonist Acolyte], but Ragnaros also has his own unique card - this is the Son of Flame.

Majordomo Executus Deck

  • [Core Hound] x2
  • Core Fury x2
  • Fire elemental x2
  • Fireball x2
  • Fireguard Destroyer x2
  • Pyro x2
  • Fire imp x2
  • Lava burst x2
  • Lava Shock x2
  • [Magma Fury] x2
  • Fire giant x10

Game strategy against Majodorm Executus

The biggest problem you'll have in the confrontation with Majodorm Executus is the fact that a third of the deck of this boss consists of Fire Giants. In this regard, it is necessary to adhere to the tactics when you can inflict a critical amount of damage on him in one move. In other words, play first as you would with any other opponent until the boss's health drops to 21 units. If you inflict a certain amount of damage on the boss, he will begin to place Fire Giants on the battlefield, which can be very difficult to deal with. Therefore, after Executus reaches 21 health, simply stop hitting the hero. Trade, kill his creatures and play your creatures until you have the required amount of damage on the board. Then attack and remove all your opponent's health while summoning Ragnaros. Without the Fire Giants, he is unlikely to be able to do anything to you, so finish him off on the next turn.

There are several classes that can pull off this combination with the help of their class cards - these are Druid (Wild Roar), Shaman (Bloodlust) and Warrior (combination with Enraged Worgen + various attack boosts).

The above strategy is the only easy way to defeat the final boss of Molten Core, so we strongly advise you to stick to it.

When confronting the Majordomo, there is one bug in the game - if you kill Executus using the Scourge of Fate card, then Ragnaros will not be summoned and the game will end in your favor.

Reward

After defeating Ragnaros, you will receive two copies of the Imp Band Leader class card. And after completing the entire wing, your reward will be legendary card Majordomo Executus.
