Final Fantasy VI is a nightmare story. Final Fantasy VI - nightmare plot Final fantasy 6 walkthrough

I barely missed the last bosses. Like part 7, on the final map the game becomes disproportionately difficult, or level up for 2 days, raising 10-15 levels. More trenchant than Dark Souls in some places)))) It seems to me that this is a stupid move by the developers aimed at artificially increasing the hours of gameplay. After all, in all locations game world you can safely endure most of the mobs, but in the finals you can barely get out, almost by luck. The transition is too abrupt.

The advantages are probably a good plot and interesting characters. Most of them at least. Each character is unique not only in character, but also in abilities, which truly provide many options for tactics. There are excellent mini-stories related to the dramas of the main characters, which touch the heart a little. In the PC version, I will note that the game has markers. I hate it japanese games because they often throw the player into the world with almost no explanation of where to go. When passing part 7, I sometimes spent half a day trying to find where I needed to go according to the plot, and then I read all sorts of walkthroughs, watched videos and even didn’t immediately understand them, and I don’t like to stagnate in one place for so long in the game, because I have not as much free time as in childhood. In 6, we are shown a “text quest task” and marked on the map where it is located. Many will say this is a minor feature, but it brought me a lot of comfort. I don’t know, maybe I was caught, but in the same Dark Souls, Silent Hill or in the old ones Resident Evil, having studied the area, you move more confidently through locations, in old finals, apparently because of the graphics, you get confused in monotonous moves, and the auto-attacks of monsters not only begin to enrage, but also confuse.

I can’t say that I’m very attracted to the series. There is something attractive about her, but sometimes I can’t ignore some of the “deliberately childish antics of the characters.” Maybe it's my mistake. I love it when everything is served with serious cabbage soup, and if there is humor, then it is black or satire on the way of life of a certain society (GTA for example). I have to constantly pull myself together with the thought that I’m not in a harsh situation right now. dark game I'm playing)))

I think there are no Finals at all that are darker and more melancholic than the sixth Finale, despite all Tabata’s efforts. Only Sabin’s openly clown antics and a couple of heroes are a walking joke in themselves that prevents the story from slipping into final hopelessness. Perhaps such a decision was fundamentally wrong: it is difficult to fit a story with a poisoned castle and a sexually horny octopus into one bowl.

Well, in general, when the world split as in Spellforce (although it would be more correct to say the other way around), there is a certain atmosphere of hopelessness of a dying world. When Celes is told that people, having lost hope, threw themselves off a cliff, then when this mustache died... A man who repented of his past and became the “adopted grandfather” of a girl who, from childhood, was taught to be a warrior of the empire and suppress feelings, who did not know what parental love was . Suddenly get it and immediately lose it, then try to commit suicide and in vain... after which a wounded bird with a Loka bandage flies in and gives the heroine hope... Well, to come up with something like this, you need to smoke something stronger, I think of course))

Actually, Sid can be saved if you feed him FRESH fish!

There is such a concept - “target audience”... These games have a different one, fans of dark films do not fall into it...

I was more infuriated by the division into teams, if it weren’t for this I would have easily passed it, I’m a pedant, I rolled out that version of the Weapon that was in Kefka’s tower playfully on the asphalt...

* Adviсe.

* To attack multiple enemies with a magic spell at once, hold down the button R1.
* To defeat Atma weapon, use RASP until you eliminate all its magic points. True, you can also use the Vanish and Doom spells.
* To defeat Wrwxsoul, use Godo, who is brilliant with the X-Zone spell, as well as some other character with the Vanish spell. Make sure Gogo is ready to use his Magic skill and attack a couple of enemies with Vanish at once, and then use the X-Zone spell. The enemies will die immediately, and you will win this battle. Your reward will be Aura, Cyan and Alexander Esper. They will be very useful in fights with monsters like Doomgaze.
* To earn more experience points (EP), take an experimental "egg" (Exp.Egg) and fight several Tyranos in the forest above the vast steppe in world of Ruin. Use Vanish and Doom or Vanish and X-Zone to earn a lot of experience points.
* To quickly earn magic points in World of Balance, go to the triangular island in the upper right side of the screen and walk around there until you meet an invisible monster called Intangir. Sing him a song of death (chant death) and you will earn 10 magic MP points.
* In the World of Ruin, go to the desert southwest of Maranda and here you will meet a monster named Cactros. He only has 3 HP. but it is very difficult to hit him, and even more so to kill him, since he is immune to almost all magical attacks. Use Cyan's Dispatch attack, Edgar's Drill attack, or Sabina's Bum Rush attack to achieve victory.
* To defeat Kefka for the last time in Kafka's tower, use the Atma weapon. Then Kefka will die or weaken so much that you can finish him off with any attack.
* To successfully defeat almost any boss in the game, use the Vanish spell and then the Doom spell. This sequence is very effective because the Vanish spell makes the boss vulnerable and he cannot resist magical attacks.
* In order for Gogo to be able to execute any of your commands, go to its status screen (Gogo's status screen) and view the commands it owns. You will see the Mimic command and three empty "slots" below. Select any of the empty "slots" and in it a list of commands that all other characters own will immediately appear. Select the command you want, and it will be fixed in that slot. Then repeat this procedure with the two remaining empty "slots" This way you can ensure that Gogo will simultaneously own such as Mimic, Blitz, Tools and Swordtech, as well as any others you choose.
* To allow Locke to deal more damage, equip him with an Offering and a Genji Glove. Then equip him with an Atma weapon like the Valiant Knife and you can deal extremely serious damage to your enemies.
* To get the Paladin Shield, equip your Cursed Shield and Ribbon. When you complete 255 battles, your Cursed Shield will turn into a Paladin Shield.
* To perform this trick you need Atma Weapon (you will find it in a cave in the world of Esper World), Offering (you will find it in the world of World of Ruin in Odin's Castle), and approximately a level of 7000 HP. The power of the Atma Weapon depends on your level HP If your HP is high enough, you can deal 9,990 points of damage to almost every enemy (even Kefka), and using Offering, you can deal 4 times more damage, i.e. 39,996 points in one hit.
* Add Sabin to your squad and fly to the World of Ruin. When you find yourself near Narshe, carefully examine the grove of five trees in the shape of a plus sign. Land nearby, go to the central tree, where you will find the old sensei - teacher Sabina. He will teach Sabin how to perform the Bum Rush move. This is an extremely powerful attack, perhaps the most powerful "personal" attack.
* When you find yourself on the floating continent in the world (World of Balance), you can steal the Genji Glove from the dragon here. Include Locke in your squad, equip him with a Genji Glove and Thieve's Glove (or Steal Ring and Thieve's Glove), then you can steal the Genji Glove from the dragon, and at the same time the tincture that will be useful to you.
* To get the Soul Saber sword in the World of Ruin, go to Firgao and then to the dungeon where Edgar joined your squad. Enter the room where all the thieves entered and you will find a statue in the center. Approach her, press the button and receive the Soul Saber sword. This is a magnificent sword that deals very serious damage to enemies depending on your MP level. By the way, with its help you can partially restore the level of your magic points.
* To get the Genji Glove, answer "no" three times to Bannon's offer to join the Returners as early as possible. Then get a Genji Glove from one of the characters.
* Relic Economizer reduces the number of magic points you spend when using any magic spell to 1 MP. You can find him in the second world after Kefka blows up the world just above Veldt (the place where you taught Gau new moves). Here you will see a small forest path on an island just north of Vedlt Island. When the Trines attack, fight them, but from time to time you will have to fend off the attacks of another monster called Bracosaur. Locke is supposed to steal Economizer from him. If the attempt fails, kill Bracosaur in the hope that the Economizer will be yours after the battle is over.
* To defeat Catrot, whom you will meet in the desert southwest of Maranda, without any problems, keep in mind that he only has 3 HP, but he very deftly dodges your attacks, because he has a very high Evade status. Equip your characters with a Sniper Sight and a Genji Glove to “steal” 2 HP points from a monster with each attack. Then very soon you will see the monster Catrot in the coliseums.
* Equip the Economizer and Gem Box, then you can attack the enemy twice, spending only two magic points, and you must first learn magic Quicke, and only then start the battle. Use the Quicke spell. and then the Ultima spell. After this, you will be able to use the Ultima spell 4 more times for free.
* To get Cyan in the World of Ruin, go to the city of Zozo, talk to the only man walking here (not the one jumping from house to house), and he will give you the item. Then go to the roof of the building, where you will find a locked, rusted door. Use the item you receive and you will be able to open the rusty door, which will allow you to go to the mountains of Mt. Zozo. Here you will take part in numerous battles, and here you will meet Cyan. Final Fantasy 6

The sixth part of the famous Japanese series role playing games came out two years after the fifth in 1994. This time virtual world somewhat different from usual. Fantasy faded into the background, while somewhat unusual technologies came to the fore. In fact, everything around is reminiscent of the times of the second industrial revolution. In VI you will be allowed to recruit a team of fourteen available characters. Of course, there will only be four of them with you at the same time, but they will be able to properly fight the hated empire that has sowed the seed of tyranny throughout the world.

The world map is, once again, an alternative planet, depicted very schematically. Opponents are not displayed on the map, but attack randomly as you move. Each victory will earn you experience points, which will allow you to level up your characters, and trophies, thanks to which the team can regularly update their wardrobe. Moving along storyline, you will also encounter some branches that are not related to the main story. Side quests are fleeting and necessary to obtain better equipment.

Combat system

Everything here is quite familiar. You select from the menu the necessary actions from the available ones, for each of your heroes (there can be a maximum of four). The Active Time Battle system continues to add some dynamics to the turn-based strike process. By the way, in the sixth part, the developers awarded each of the heroes you choose a unique ability. This could be stealing items, absorbing magical attacks, or something else. By the way, during a battle, when the health level of one of the characters drops to a dangerous level, he can, with some probability, cause additional damage. This can be called a critical attack or something like that. In subsequent parts this feature will also be used.

Plot

The story revolves around an unnamed planet. Everything will begin in the World of Balance, which is the name given to two continents dotted with mountain ranges. But in the process of passing you will influence the landscape, thereby opening your way to new locations. Firearms not here, but various technical delights will be available to you. Such as an electric drill or chain saw, while in cities there is a widespread network railways and coal industry.

The empire is led by Gatal, and on the ground his will is carried out by General Kefka. This militarist destroys on his way all the settlements of espers - magical creatures into which the participants in the great war turned a thousand years ago. Based on the captured espers, Gatal manages to create magical mechanisms - magitek. With their help, it is possible to create magical soldiers, later called magitek knights. Of course, over time, devices need to be upgraded. In this regard, the greedy emperor decides to capture the remaining espers in order to completely subjugate their magical abilities.

Your game begins in the mining town of Narsha. Here the imperial army is looking for a frozen esper discovered in a tunnel. True, it turns out to be too tough for ordinary soldiers. Only Terra Branford remains alive. This girl is half human and half esper. She was essentially enslaved by the empire thanks to a device capable of mind control. Immediately next to her appears the newly minted protector Locke Cole, a thief who promises to protect the girl until she remembers what happened to her. He is part of an organization opposing the oppression of those in power. Their leader is Banon. After short negotiations, you agree to help in his revolutionary activities. Your first mission to investigate the incident in Narsha ends with an attack by the Empire's armies. Locke goes to the enemy camp for valuable information, the rest of the group flees in panic along the river. However, during the rafting, the team is attacked by the octopus Ultros. The group splits further, resulting in three separate stages. First, Locke must get out of the occupied city. Secondly, Sabin, the brother of the ruler Edgar, who has joined your group, wanders around the world. And thirdly, Terra, Edgar and Banon continue rafting down the stormy river.

Having reunited, your team members bring new characters with them. Celes Shir became a traitor to the imperial army and was sentenced to death, but Locke has his lords against her. Cian Garamonde is a victim of war. He lost his entire family during one of the attacks. Well, and Gau, who in general is not clear how he got to Sabin. The boy can hardly speak because he lived in the wild. In Narsha, they protect a frozen esper, but Terra carelessly comes into contact with this strange creature. As a result, her second essence takes over, and the girl herself becomes an esper. In horror, she leaves the group and flies away. Next you will have to find the team member who has showered. And it is located in the city of Zozo. Here you receive a task on the Vector continent. Having found an adventurer who has his own airship, which by the way is the only one in the world, you can go on a long journey.

You raid a research center and rescue several espers, who decide to commit suicide so that you can get the magic stones that remain after their death (what nonsense). Terra learns that her father was an esper, and her mother an ordinary person (who would doubt it). Summoning her fellow mutants, the girl does not assume that they will fall into a mad rage in which they will destroy most of the Vector continent. After this, Gashtal openly pissed and called for a peaceful separation. While traveling to the negotiation site, all the espers are attacked by Kefka and his army. But the rage has passed, and he easily copes with magical creatures. Having received several magic items, the emperor and his general open a portal to the world of espers. There they are going to secure undeniable power. But Kefka has completely gone crazy and personally sends Gastahl to the next world. After this, the damned madman also moves the petrified statues of the great trinity, causing irreparable changes on the planet. A natural disaster occurs, as a result of which almost all people on earth die. Only a handful survive, eking out the existence of wild animals.
