How to unlock all artifact skins in WOW Legion. Priest's Artifacts Tome of Supernatural Poisons

Most skins can be unlocked at level 110, but some of them are available by leveling up.
In order to unlock the color variations of a skin, you must first unlock the skin itself.
In order to change appearance artifact, you must go to the forge in the class stronghold.
To transmog artifacts, you can use the appearance of other weapons. Transmogrification follows standard rules regarding weapon types.
Some skins change the type of weapon (for example, the hidden skin Titan's Accuracy changes Might of the Titans from a gun to a bow).
All skins and colors are available in any specialization of a single character, but are not available to other characters account. In order for them to be able to use the skins, they must be unlocked again.

Complexity: average, the power of the artifact accumulates without any problems, but this requires a lot of time.

Requirement: Earn the achievement A Piece of History by thoroughly studying the history of your artifact.

Receipt: complete the tasks that precede placing Orders to obtain Artifact Knowledge. Available at level 110: (requires finding 4 books with the history of the artifact in different parts of Azeroth) and Talking to the Wind (Shaman) or Digging in Books (all other classes) (requires placing an order to obtain Knowledge about the artifact). Skin 4

Requirement: Earn the achievement This Side Up

Complexity: high, you need to complete tasks, collect a large amount of resources and visit dungeons and raids.

Requirement: Earn the achievement Unleashed Monsters

Receipt: Defeat 8 of the 10 world bosses found in the Broken Isles.

Complexity: Medium, takes some time as bosses appear rarely and randomly.

Skin 3

Requirement: complete a dungeon in challenge mode with a key level 15 or higher.

Skin 4

Requirement: Earn the Glory of the Legion Hero achievement

Receipt: Complete 26 achievements in 10 Legion dungeons on Mythic difficulty. The achievement is common to all characters on the account.

Complexity: high, requires high coordination between group members. Most of the achievements are quite simple, but some of them require special gaming skills. In addition, entering the dungeon on Mythic difficulty requires manual grouping.

Receipt: Reach prestige level 1 (in the new PvP system) and rank 50 by participating in battles with other players.

Complexity: low, because you can independently choose the types of PvP activities that you like. Requires moderate time investment. The first season begins on September 20.

Skin 2

Requirement: Earn the achievement Crest of Heroism (O)/Crest of Heroism.

Receipt: Reach prestige level 5 by earning honor points. Only available in Season 2.

7. Unrealized skins

In the Wowhead Artifact Calculator, some Artifacts have a sixth appearance. At one of the conferences, the developers hinted that new skins will be introduced into the game in the next patches.

Appearance of artifact weapons

Each artifact in WOW Legion has one secret appearance (appearance). The source of obtaining a hidden appearance is different for almost all artifacts, for example:

Loot from monsters and bosses
Buying for reputation with factions
Completing special scenarios
Construction of special buildings while leveling up the Stronghold class

Once you unlock the Artifact's secret appearance, you will be able to access 3 additional colors. To obtain these colors, you need to perform various actions with the artifact equipped and the active hidden appearance:

Complete 100 dungeons
Complete 200 world quests
Kill 1000 players of the opposite faction

In addition to secret appearances, some artifacts also have secret features - they can work when the artifact is worn on a character. This guide talks about both the features and appearances of artifacts.

Hidden Artifact Appearance Skins

For convenience, the guide is divided into sections by class and specialization. For each branch, the additional effect of an artifact weapon is first indicated, and then information on opening a secret type of artifact is indicated.

Death Knight

Blood – Cursed Devourer

To open this quest, you must complete the main quest chain in Suramar (up to the quest Rallying the Troops) and have 400 Ancient Mana with you (read How to get Ancient Mana).
In this scenario, you earn points for the number of monsters you kill. The more points you get, the more Falanaar Arcane Tablets you get (reputation with the Nightfallen) and more items from the final chest.

Death Knight Ice – Blades of the Fallen Prince

How to get a:

Runes drop from the world boss, Soul Captor Mevra, provided that you have 4+ level of knowledge of the artifact.

Death Knight Unholy - Apocalypse

Requires Artifact Knowledge Level 6.

After that:

When an unholy DK uses an artifact ability, an orc with a book may appear nearby. The minions of the DK will shout something into the chat, and after they disappear, the Initiator of the area will remain on the ground - the Putricide Journal. You need to pick it up (you don’t have to read it).
After this, in the Citadel, the death knights will be able to see a disguised door next to the Putricide processor.

Demon Hunter

Havoc – Twin Blades of the Tempter

The hidden effect of the DH DD artifact is not yet known.

You need to knock out the Amulet of Kandrael, which may fall during execution local quests in Suramar.
Take the amulet to Kandrael Twinshadow on the hill west of Felsoul Keep.
The NPC will throw you up to the Underdog. It has a debuff that creates winds - they allow you to fight in the air.

Secret Artifact Appearance: Unlocked by Wrath of the Iron Guard.

At the 2nd level of development of the class Stronghold, select the Twisting Nether and then use the portal that appears.
Killed demons in the portal can drop Wrath of the Iron Guard. The drop rate is still unknown.

Druid

Balance – Scythe of Elune

Sunfire Seed is sold by Sylvia Staghorn in Val'sharah. To purchase, you will need Exalted with the Dreamweaver faction.
To obtain a Pure Drop of Shaladrassil Juice, you will also need exalted Dream Weavers, as well as at least level 5 knowledge of the artifact. If these conditions are met, the drop will drop from the first boss of the Darkheart Thicket, Arch Druid Glydalis.

Feral Druid – Ashhide Fangs

This item can be obtained by summoning the Owlbeast.
In the Emerald Path of Dreams, you can see emotions associated with certain portals in chat ( Hinterlands, Feralas, dusk wood). Go through this portal, find the nearest one Moonstone and touch it.

The item is sold by NPC Veridius Fallon in Azsuna for 1,700 gold. Requires Revered with the Court of Farondis faction.

The item is obtained from Ursoc in the Emerald Nightmare.

Mage

Arcane Magic – Aluneth

How to get a:

Use the Polymorph spell on the following enemies:
- Rock hippogriff in Azsuna
- Alpine goat in Highmountain
- Plains Runehorn Calf in Stormheim
- Forest deer in Suramar
- Wild Dreamwalker in Val'sharah
Reach artifact knowledge level 6.
In the Guardian's Stronghold, an Unstable Sheep may appear with some probability - you need to click on it several times right click, after which it will explode. There is also information that this sheep can appear during the casting of the Transformation spell at the first stage of obtaining the hidden appearance of the artifact.
Now find the Extremely Volatile Sheep in Stormheim's Runewood. Like the previous sheep, it needs to be blown up. The macros /tar Unstable Sheep and /tar Extremely Unstable Sheep can help you find sheep.
Go to Azora's Tower, which is located in Elwynn Forest and go through a small event, at the end of which you will receive the Spindle of Fate.

Fire Mage - Felo'melorn

Hidden Effect: Talk to the Elven Blacksmith in Dalaran, and at the end of the dialogue you will receive Artifact Power. And the corpses of killed enemies will look black and charred.

Secret Appearance: Unlocked through Starfishing.

According to players, Starfishing drops in the Suramar locations and both from rarities and from ordinary monsters (for example, from the Kadrei rarity).

Magician Ice – Polar Night

Unlocks after leveling up the Nexus Teleportation talent at level 2 of the class stronghold development.
5 portals will appear in the class stronghold. Every day, through them, with a small chance, you will be able to get to the Frostfire Ridge, and there you will receive the Eternal Flame Crystal.
You will learn about the portal to ChLO through a special emotion in the chat when you run up the stairs in the class stronghold.

Monk

Brewmaster - Fu Can

Hidden Artifact Appearance: Accessed through Legend of the Monkey King.

Monk Mistweaver - Shay-Lun

The item drops from nightmare dragons (Ysondre, Emeriss, Lethon, Taerar) in the Emerald Nightmare raid. The drop rate is not yet known.

Windwalker Monk – Fists of the Sky

To receive the quest, complete the main chain of Suramar (before the quest Rallying the Troops) and receive 400 Ancient Mana.
As the scenario progresses, you earn points based on the number of monsters you kill. The more points you have, the more items you will receive from the last chest (which may also contain the item you need).

To obtain this hidden appearance, you will have to go through a fairly long chain of quests. In addition, you will need level 6 artifact knowledge.

1. Get two books by Nat Pagle:

"Advanced Fishing" by Nat Pagle, which can be obtained from the bodies of players in Alterac Valley.

Don't touch anyone in Forgotten City, especially bosses.

Speak with Alexia Ironknife at Chillwind Camp in the Western Plaguelands (Alliance) or Bardu True Eye at the Bastion in Tirisfal Glades (Horde).
Read Grand Inquisitor Isillien's Journal at Hearthglen in the Western Plaguelands.
Next is the difficult part - you need to destroy the Big Evil Slime, the respawn time of which can reach 30 hours (it is believed that it is 16 hours). This time depends on the phase and the server, so it is impossible to predict the appearance of mucus.
The item Talisman of Timolean will fall out of the mucus, using which you will see, in fact, Timoleon the Damned himself. Talk to him and move on to the next stage.
10. Time to catch the Shard of Darkness in the Tondraril River. You can catch it anywhere in the river; no improvements to your fishing skill have any effect on the chance of catching it. Some received the coveted fragment after 100 casts of the fishing rod, while others needed several thousand - it all depends on luck.
11. Talk to Lord Maxwell Tyross and begin the quest A Walk in Shadows. At the end of this quest, you will receive the coveted Heart of Corruption and a new appearance for the artifact.

Priest

Obedience – Fury of Light

No additional effect known.

The item can be obtained by combining the Crown of the Lightborn (drop from Hyrya) and the Rod of the Reborn (purchased from the quartermaster of the Valarjar faction with the Exalted reputation).

Priest of Darkness – Blade of the Dark Empire

The only known effect is that the staff sometimes whispers something to its owner.

Elimination – Assassins of Kings

Secret Appearance: Accessed through the Broken Bone Cipher, which drops from rarities in the Dalaran Sewer.

At the end of the scenario (when you complete it or when time runs out), open the chests and collect as many Keys to the Burial Treasury as possible.

Artifacts are wearable items that directly affect the course of the game. In addition to the many benefits that come with wearing artifacts, you can also change their appearance. Each of the artifacts has 24 different appearances and this guide will tell you about the methods of obtaining the appearances, their complexity and time spent.

What do you need to unlock artifact skins?

First of all, you still need to be level 110, even despite receiving the artifact at level 100.
You must first unlock the model, or main skin, before unlocking the different colors of that model.
Once the lock on the appearance is removed, you will be able to use it at the Artifact Forge in your class stronghold.
You can apply the appearance of another weapon to an artifact weapon. All rules regarding modifications to other weapons remain the same.
All unlocked skins are available for all character specializations. However, this rule does not apply to the entire account.
Some weapon skins can change the weapon type (for example, Might of the Titans, which changes the weapon type from a firearm to a bow).

Classic look

First color

Standard weapon color.

Second color

Requirement: to bring back one of the pillars of creation.
Receipt: You must obtain one of the pillars of creation, which can be obtained by completing the final quests of the story campaign:

Aegis of Aggramar – Aegis of Aggramar, Stormheim
Hammer of Khaz'goroth - Hammer of Khaz'goroth, Highmountain
Tear of Elune – Tears of Elune, Val'sharah
Tidestone of Golganneth - Tidestone of Golganneth, Azsuna
Eye of Aman'thul - Suramar

Difficulty – 1. Just complete the quests in the game zones on the Broken Isles.

Third color

Requirement: Retrieve the Heart of Light and deliver it to the class stronghold.
Receipt: Complete the quest chain Falling Star, Lightbringer, Onslaught of Light.
Difficulty – 1. Complete the tasks above.

Fourth color

Requirement: completed the first stage of the story campaign.
Receipt: complete part of the story campaign.
Difficulty – 1
Fight in style: classic look, awarded for unblocking all four skins.

Improved view

First color

Requirement: Get the Battle Hardened achievement.
Receipt: Complete the Class Hall story campaign.
Difficulty – 1, complete all quests in the class stronghold.

Second color

Requirement: Get the achievement Power Incarnate.
Receipt: You need to get all possible features of the artifact (except for bonus ones). To do this you will need 5216130 artifact power.
Difficulty – 2, getting the power of an artifact is not very difficult, but gaining such a number of power will require a lot of time.

Third color

Requirements: Get the achievement Part of History.
Receipt: Learn ten levels of artifact knowledge.
Difficulty – 1, mine the stronghold resources and wait for the completion of learning the knowledge about the artifact.

Fourth color

Requirements: Get an achievement This side up.
Receipt: Dig up eight rare minerals from the Broken Isles. The Archeology trainer Dariness the Knowledgeable has a quest every two weeks that gives you a chance to gain access to the excavation of a rare fossil. You can only take on the quest if you are level 110.
Difficulty – 2, this appearance will require a lot of time to carry out all the necessary excavations. Also, most of the time will be spent getting all the necessary quests.

Valiant look

First color

Requirements: Complete the “Balance of Power” quest chain.
Receipt: A long chain of quests obtained in the class stronghold. Starts with the quest Hidden Power.
Difficulty – 2, a lot of time spent on a chain of quests and visiting almost all dungeons.

Second color

Requirements: Get the Unchained Monsters achievement.
Receipt: Defeat eight of ten world bosses in the Broken Isles.
Difficulty - 2, since bosses have a respawn time of several days, it will take a lot of time to kill them.

Third color

Requirements: Use the level fifteen key to complete the dungeon challenge mode.
Receipt: You need to complete Mythic dungeons level 15+ using your own or someone else's key. At this level the enemy is much stronger and uses more abilities.
Difficulty – 4, you need to go through the most high levels Mythic dungeons.

Fourth color

Requirements: Complete the Glory of the Legion Hero achievement. Buy the achievement Glory to the Legion Hero you can on our website.
Receipt: Requires 26 achievements on Mythic difficulty across a dozen five-player dungeons. Achievements are counted from all characters in the profile.
Difficulty – 3, you need a coordinated and effective game of allies when passing dungeons.
You'll also receive the Fight in Style: Valiant Look achievement for unlocking all four artifact colors.

Seasoned look

There is only one color, it’s the first one.
Requirements: Get the achievement Prestige (alliance) (http://ru.wowhead.com/achievement=10743) / Prestige (horde) (http://ru.wowhead.com/achievement=10745).
Receipt: Just get the first level of prestige (rank 50) for being active in PvP.
Difficulty – 1, playing on battlefields will allow you to quickly get what you want.

The second/third/fourth colors are given for obtaining 5/9/13 levels of prestige. Will be available only in the next PvP seasons.

How to get a hidden artifact type for the Discipline spec

The item Writings of the End, which unlocks this type, is associated with collecting 12 volumes that are scattered across Azeroth. By collecting them you will create an item that precedes you will get if you collect 12 volumes and create from them The Annals of Light and Shadow, an item that precedes Writings of the End. This is all that is known for now.

Juvess the Duskwhisperer, on the table.
