Good game!

A texture pack is an archive with game textures, where all the images of Minecraft blocks and objects are stored. Each player can change this archive as he wants. In this article we will talk about how to install your own texture pack on the launcher for Minecraft.

What do texture packs look like?

Look how the texture pack painted game world!

Thanks to the change, you can transform Minecraft: make it more beautiful and atmospheric, add clarity to the blocks and turn the pixel game into a detailed square world.

Each archive has folders, and in them there are pictures. Each image is responsible for its own block. For example, “items” stores illustrations of all the items that a player can hold in his hands: arrows, sword, food, seedlings, alchemical ingredients, etc.

When the pictures change, the texture in the Minecraft world also changes. This way you can turn a steak into, say, a remote control, and it will be visible in your inventory.

It is possible to change the following:

  • all blocks and objects in the game;
  • paintings, doors, windows and even their color;
  • all animated particles frame by frame, such as fire, smoke, portals, etc.;
  • type of equipment, its color, background and shape;
  • settings menu and buttons in it;
  • background picture on the main screen;
  • skin of the main character and all living creatures.
