– now move to the southernmost part of the map to the black area of ​​the HIMALAYAS, but just do not cross the border of the area, otherwise you will fall off the edge of the map and die;

According to him, the developers simply used a ready-made height map to create the game world of the newest part, which stores data on the height of each point in the area.

This is not the first time Ubisoft has used the same materials for different projects. Thus, the Far Cry: Blood Dragon map was based on Far map Cry 3 - the creators simply copied the southern island from the last one.
