Gameplay
Let us immediately warn those who managed to play the previous part, Cardboard Head of a Zombie - the size of the game locations has become twice as large, the monsters are still coming out of all available cracks, but the number of available types of weapons has also increased, as well as methods of destruction using environmental details. In all other respects, the Boxhead 2play game is still good.
Choose starting location, the player's view and we immediately find ourselves on the battlefield. I must say, it’s not for nothing that the game was called Cardboard Zombie Head - after just 10 seconds you will see a dozen similar monsters stretching out their arms at you. The goal is intuitive, as in the best representatives genre, such as Crimsonland (except that there are no perks for leveling up) - maneuver, use barrels of explosives and shoot as many cardboard heads as possible. After some time in the game, a red boss will appear, armed with fireballs and having a significant amount of armor. Over time, there will be more and more of them, enemies will progress not only in quantity, but also in quality. Fortunately, when switching to each new level, having stopped the next enemy invasion, we will receive new weapons, and the list is impressive: this is not only a slow starting pistol, but also a rapid-firing Uzi, a powerful double-barreled shotgun, grenades and the barrels themselves, which we can arrange in a free order, using the entire game screen. It is best to maneuver at this stage so that fireballs local zombies ended up in barrels where there was already a concentration of creatures of a lower level.
This is when Cardboard Head Zombie really gets fun. But there's nothing better game for two.
The controls, even for a game for two people, are simple - movement is carried out using the classic WASD and arrows. Shoot using the space button, and selecting available weapons is done on the numeric keypad.
