For children of the first younger group, whose age ranges from 1.5 to 3 years, being outside is the best way to realize the goals of harmonious and comprehensive development and also improve immunity. But the teacher must carefully plan each stage of the walk in order to interest the children. different types activities, putting educational tasks into an entertaining and understandable form for children.

Why are walks needed?

For kindergarten students, outdoor leisure is an effective way to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the surrounding nature and improve their health. These factors determined the inclusion of walks in the compulsory educational program of kindergartens.

Goals

Preserving and strengthening the health of children is the main goal of the educational process in preschool institutions. Outdoor leisure allows children to adapt to environmental conditions. At the same time, like any other type of work with children, the walk has 3 goal-setting directions: educational, educational and developmental. Based on this, the Federal State Educational Standard defines the following goals for outdoor exercise for children of the first junior group:

  • mastering the norms of nature-conforming behavior (through observations of weather conditions, changing seasons, etc.);
  • obtaining an idea of professions, types of animals, plants, etc.;
  • development of analysis skills, assessment of changes in the surrounding nature and formation of the skill to record these transformations using oral descriptions.

Knowledge of the surrounding world occurs through direct interaction with it

Tasks

To achieve the set goals, the teacher, planning combinations of activities during a walk, lays down a number of educational tasks:

  1. Demonstration of the perfection of everything created by nature: blades of grass, spider bugs, etc.
  2. Acquaintance with different seasons, interesting sights in one’s native area, and the work activities of adults (for example, builders, janitors, etc.).
  3. Working to improve the culture of health. For the first younger group, this is the ability to put on and take off outer clothing without (or almost without) the help of adults, putting on shoes, developing the skill of washing hands, communicating the need to go to the toilet, blowing your nose before and after a walk.
  4. Fostering a positive, respectful attitude towards people and nature.

Organization rules

In order for leisure time on the street to work to accomplish the assigned tasks, it must be properly organized.

This is interesting. Detailed information on sanitary standards is presented in SanPiN dated May 15, 2013 No. 26 ABOUT APPROVAL OF SANPIN 2.4.1.3049–13 “Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the design, content and organization of work in preschool organizations.”

Types of walks

Based on the timing of the daily walks, they are divided into:

  • morning - before lunch;
  • evening - after a day's sleep.

They are held at any time of the year under suitable weather conditions. In the first younger group a walk in the cold season takes 4 hours, divided into 2 sessions. Summer job with children in kindergarten is called health-improving, since the weather conditions are favorable for improving the health of children. During this period, all activities are carried out in the fresh air; indoors, children only eat and sleep.

Preparatory stage

Going outside begins long before the walk itself, as children and adults have to go through several important stages of preparation.

  1. Children blow their noses and go to the toilet.
  2. The teacher equips the first part of the children: checks that shoes and clothes are fastened correctly and helps those who are not yet completely able to dress themselves.
  3. Children go outside with a teacher.
  4. The assistant teacher helps the second group of children carry out hygiene procedures, dresses them and sends them outside to the first group.
  5. Returning from the street follows the same principle. Only children with poor health enter first, even though they always leave second.

Structure of outdoor leisure

The walking process is divided into several important components. These parts can be combined in different combinations, leaving unchanged only the fact that you need to complete the exercise with calm walking.

Observations

The basics of walking in the first junior group. Objects of consideration may include:

  • plants, animals;
  • precipitation;
  • signs of changing seasons;
  • human labor (as a janitor sweeps leaves, clears snow, etc.).

Depending on the object of observation there may be:

  • short-term (forming ideas about the shape, color of certain objects, their position in space);
  • long-term (for example, to demonstrate changes in leaf color depending on the season).

The algorithm for analyzing objects of observation is that children, together with an adult:

  • establish facts (puddles appear after rain);
  • connect them together (for example, there are a lot of puddles due to rain, the road is wet);
  • accumulate similar information;
  • formulate a conclusion together with an adult.

Observing the signs of a particular season develops attentiveness and broadens your horizons

Labor activity

With the help of this work, the child develops a sense of responsibility.

  1. Putting toys in boxes or crates.
  2. Removing large debris and snow in winter (with shovels, brooms).
  3. Watering flowers. Usually kids are assigned to help carry the watering can or monitor the water level in it.

Any work should be feasible for kids

Game techniques

During walks with children 1.5–3 years old, there are 2 types of games: active and sedentary. Their choice depends on the theme of a particular walk and weather conditions. Active fun for good weather - tag, hide and seek, ball games, calm fun for slush - ring throw, construction set, etc.

The teacher participates in all proposed games, usually as a presenter

This is interesting. Psychologists have found that children of the first younger group, due to their age and maturity of the thinking apparatus, do not play together, but side by side.

Individual work

As a rule, all kids love to go for walks. Only the temperament of the guys can differ. Therefore, the teacher must find an approach to everyone: someone is playing with a ball, someone is jumping over a wheel. At the same time, there are children who at this time happily run after a beautiful dragonfly. The teacher’s task is to select an activity for each child and, after providing the necessary assistance (for example, showing how to hold a net correctly), monitor the correct execution.

This is interesting. A walk in the evening presupposes that the teacher will communicate with parents, which means observation, work - those types of activities that require maximum concentration of attention of not only children, but also adults, are not included.

Individual work also implies the opportunity to freely choose the type of activity

    In March the sun shines, in March water flows from the roofs,
    And the snowdrop bloomed on time - our very first flower.
    Good March, warm the whole world, you are the cutest of all months!
  • Consolidate knowledge about the seasons;
  • study the signs of early spring.
Labor activityClearing paths from snow on the site, removing snow on the veranda.Learn to shovel snow using shovels to a certain place.
Outdoor games"Hares". One of the players is chosen as a “wolf”, the rest are “hares”. At the beginning of the game, the “hares” stand in their houses, the wolf is on the opposite side. The “hares” come out of the houses, the teacher says:
“Hares gallop, hop, hop, hop,
To the green meadow.
They pinch the grass, eat it,
They listen carefully to see if a wolf is coming.”
Children jump and perform movements. After these words, the “wolf” comes out of the ravine and runs after the “hares”; they run away to their houses. The “wolf” takes the caught “hares” to his ravine.
Learn to quickly perform actions when given a signal from the teacher.
“Jump and turn.” Children, freely positioned on the playground, jump in place at the count of “1, 2, 3”, and at the count of “4” they turn 45° to the right. Again they make 3 jumps in place, on the fourth they turn to the right. Returning to the starting position, children perform jumps to the left side. Between repetitions you need to take a short break - walk around the site.Strengthen push-off skills when jumping on two legs.
Individual workGames based on interests.

Time plan for the walk

Strict adherence to the time frame for performing each type of activity during a walk allows you not only to achieve your educational goals, but also to maintain the interest of the kids. Depending on the time of year and weather conditions, the walk can last from 30 minutes to 2 hours. In accordance with this, time is distributed for each of the stages:

An example of time distribution between stages of a walk on the theme “Autumn Leaves”

  1. Tree observations (10 minutes). Show the children that it has become cold, the leaves fall in the fall. This phenomenon is called leaf fall. There are fewer and fewer leaves on the trees. A lot lies on the ground, on the grass.
    • Leaves are falling, falling,
      It's leaf fall in our garden.
      Red, yellow leaves
      They curl and fly in the wind.
  2. Individual work (10 minutes). Collect a bouquet of leaves.
  3. Outdoor game “The little white bunny is sitting” (15 minutes). Children - “bunnies” are sitting on a bench. The teacher invites the “bunnies” to run out to the middle of the site (“clearing”). Children go to the middle of the playground, stand near the teacher and squat down. The teacher says the text:
    • The little white bunny is sitting (children move their hands, raising them to their heads)
      And he wiggles his ears. Like this, like this (imitate bunny ears).
      He wiggles his ears. It’s cold for the bunny to sit (clap hands),
      We need to warm our paws,
      Clap, clap, clap, clap,
      We need to warm our paws.
      It’s cold for the bunny to stand (they jump on both legs together),
      The bunny needs to jump.
      The bunny needs to jump.
      ... (name of the toy) scared the bunny (indicate who scared the bunny),
      The bunny jumped and galloped away (the teacher shows the toy, the children run to their places).
    • Note: after finishing reading the text, you should not quickly run after the children, you must give them the opportunity to find a place for themselves. There is no need to require children to sit in their own place; everyone takes an empty seat on the bench.
  4. Labor activity. Put the toys away (5 minutes).

Walking experiences

As part of the study of the world around us, children are expected to perform simple experiments that help them gain a more complete understanding of the living world. The most convenient way to conduct such experiments is to combine them with the topic of observation while walking. At the same time, the timing of this type of outdoor activity will increase due to the reduction of time for performing other types of work. Methodists recommend conducting 2-3 experiments per month.

Observing the properties of sand can include making Easter cakes from wet material.

To make the walk in the first junior group entertaining and useful, it makes sense to spend a little more time preparing the event. It will go into selecting suitable methods of observation, for example, experiments aimed at productively studying the world around us, or choosing a plot for outdoor games. In any case, this type of methodological creativity will definitely not leave the children - even the smallest ones - indifferent to the walk.
