Father's fangs obtained! Orange Hyde. Legendary Weapons! Survival Under Twilight

With each new addition, World of Warcraft moves further and further from what it used to be. Therefore, it's time to go back in time and remember the legends that Blizzard methodically added during previous releases. Most of these Legends have as amazing quest lines as the weapon models themselves - even without the ability to transmog legends.they are worth collecting.

It doesn't matter if you are trying to collect one of the legends to get a closer look at the history of Warcraft, or you were the first in the guild to collect one of them -legends will forever take their own place in the heart of every player.

Unfortunately, there are a few legendary items that are completely inaccessible, but some of them can still be worn, for example Atiesh - this refers to those lucky ones who managed to collect it in previous content.

The staff is just a must have for any caster in Firelands plus it transforms you into a dragon Tarecgosa Form. The collector of the legend will have to organize raids to farm items from bosses and complete quests to help the family of Blue Dragons.

Step 1 : The player independently goes through the role-playing event and fights in an alternate version of the Nexus. Subsequently, he needs to create charged focus from several bosses in the Firelands, which will open access to the Fire Anvil. Raid helps the player to getA branch of Nordrassil and a special temporary title.

Step 2 : Then the player needs to collect 1000Burning coal in the Firelands, which resembles a gatheringShadow Ice Shard in Icecrown Citadel. After all the coal has been collected, Kalecgos opens another event, for the passage of which it is givenRuned staff of Nordrassil.

Step 3 : Next to getHeart of Flame, you need to charge the Rune Staff with 250 Smoldering Essences. During the battle with Ragnaros, interesting debuffs appear on the player - after you successfully loot a heart, your entire capital will admire a large-scale event with blue spectral dragons and Tarecgosa, who will tell about her story. As a reward, the player will receiveWrath of the Dragon, eternal rest of Tarecgosa, and his guild -Little Tarecgosa and achievementDragon's Wrath, Tarecgosa's eternal rest (guild).

Special use of the staff - Tarecgosa's Fury

Like anyone legendary item, the staff has a unique proc and is really interesting: Tarecgosa's Fury. Its description indicates that the effect is more similar to the Mastery of Elemental Shamans: Mastery: Feel the Elements. If you believe this, then the duplicated spell deals full damage. In the combat log, the duplicated spell is also displayed as the main one, so it is almost impossible to track it down.

But the good news doesn't end there. There is another effect that manifests itself in classes that use periodic damage (DOTs), for example, warlock-aflictors or shadow-priests. Pillboxes are also duplicated, but they are displayed as the Tarecgosa's Fury spell, which in one tick does the same damage as pillboxes.

These legendary daggers are only available to Rogues and were slated for release 4.3. Daggers allow robbers to literally "fly" - agility begins to stack, which ultimately creates wings that give a good burst.

Dark sorrow

This two-handed ax was introduced after the opening of Icecrown Citadel. It can be worn by warriors, death knights and paladins. Collecting it was easy enough even with a group of level 85 players (let alone level 90), killing bosses in normal.

It is a pity that because of these items there was so much bad; thus they lost the true essence of the actions and decisions of Arthas's close friends and enemies.

Dark Sorrow and Dark Sorrow (guild).

It is impossible to say exactly how long the process of collecting Sulfuras will take, because you can suffer for years or be that rare lucky one. By this I want to say that everything depends on knocking out the Eye of Sulfuras from Ragnaros and the Sulfuron ingot. The Blood of the Mountain should also be included here, but I do not consider it a problem to get this reagent in the right amount in a short time.

Tory "gave, Starfury

Quite rarely drops from Keel Jaeden, the last boss in the Sunwell Plateau. At one time it was the only ranged weapon that did not require ammunition (until they were completely removed in Cataclysm). The animation of firing looked like blue glowing shots. When the bow just introduced into the game, disputes arose about how such a toy without epic arrows could compete with the top at that time epics like the Golden Bow of Qel "Talas - this is in memory of those guilds who gave the legend, first of all, to robbers as a fun stick with stats.

There was also controversy over the history of this bow. Some were convinced that it was the bow of Alleria Windrunner herself, allegedly due to the High Elves' style. Others believed Haldaron Brightwing was the rightful owner of the bow, as he is the only NPC in Azeroth with the exact same weapon model. Others still believe that the bow is associated with the very energy of the Sunwell or a forgotten hero - in the same way, the Book of Hymns of the Highborne refers to the times of turmoil and discord between the Night Elves and the High Elves.

For this legend, the achievements are given Tory "Dal, Starfury and Tory" Dal, Starfury (guild).

The chain itself will begin after you receive either of the two bracers that drop from Baron Geddon and Garr in Molten Core. After knocking out both bracers, travel to Silithus and speak with Highlord Demitrian. He will hand you the Rebirth Vessel.

Next, Demitrian will ask you to bring the following items: Again, as in the case of Sulfuras, the difficulty lies mainly in knocking out the Windseeker's Bindings and Windseeker's Bindings. Of course, all these bars cost me a pretty penny, but I did not regret the money spent.

After returning with the necessary items to Demitrian, he will quickly summon Thunder Moraan. After defeat Thunder Moraan will throw his sword from which you will receive
Slumbering Blade of the Playful Wind. Take him to Demitrian and he will create for you
.

In the past, only certain classes could complete the chain, but now it is available to any class that can carry a sword. Comrades mages and warlocks, your turn has come!

For this legend are awarded the achievements Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker and Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker (guild).

Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian

Legendary staff that everyone wieldsGuardian of Tirisfal, Atiesh was the first caster legend to have slightly different stats according to the class of mages, warlocks, priests, and druids. Each staff had its own colored ribbon to highlight its owner's class. Because of this, the staff will differently buff a group or raid - for example, Guardian Strength. As for the show-off, the staff summons a flock of ravens circling around the player's head. They can also open a portal to Karazhan. Since this weapon was no longer available, the owners received Atiesh, the Greatstaff of the Guardian - perhaps the most interesting questline in the entire game.

Atiesh is Medivh's personal staff, it was a focusing tool for his magical power and an artifact great power... Unfortunately, due to the presence of the spirit of Sargeras in Medivh's body, the staff was corrupted. Sargeras endowed the staff with some intelligence. After Medivh's death, the Kirin Tor dispatched an expedition of mages to search and study the artifacts stored in Karazhan. It was then that Atiesh was found and taken to Dalaran. But all the Kirin Tor mages who came into contact with the staff died as a result of a series of strange incidents, so the Council of Six decided to protect the staff with magical barriers for safety reasons, assigning an observer to guard. Archmage Angela Dosantos became this observer.

During the destruction of Dalaran by Archimonde, the staff was lost; presumably, the emergency barrier system worked, shattering it into many fragments. Angela is still looking for these shards. According to rumors, some of the fragments are in Naxxramas with Kel "Tuzad and his minions - the lich wants to assemble the staff himself. The base of Atiesh fell into the hands of the famous explorer Brann Bronzebeard, but was lost during his sortie to An" Qiraj.

Dragon Aspects

How it all began!

Aman-Tul, Great Father of the Pantheon, gave some of his universal power to the huge bronze dragon, Nozdorm. The Great Father ordered Nozdormu to protect time itself and control the eternal streams of fate and destiny. Courageous and noble, Nozdormu became known as the Timeless One.
Eonar, Titan, patroness of all living things, gave part of her power to the huge red Alexstrasza. Since then, Alexstrasza is called the Life-Binder and protects all creatures of this world. For her wisdom and boundless compassion for all living things, Alexstrasza was elected Queen of Dragons and led her family.
Eonar also bestowed upon Alexstrasza's younger sister, the graceful green dragon Ysera, a certain power over nature. Ysera fell into an eternal trance called "The Dream of Creation." Known as the Dreamer, she follows the nature of the world from the realm of the Emerald Dream.
Titan Norgannon, the keeper of lore and lord of magic, bestowed upon the blue dragon Malygos some of his great power. Since that time, Malygos, known as the Guardian of Magic, has kept magic and secret knowledge.
Titan Kaz "goroth, the sculptor and blacksmith of the world, bestowed some of his immense power on the mighty black serpent Neltharion. The magnanimous Neltharion, later known as the Guardian of the Earth, gained dominion over soil, rock, and the bowels of the earth. Embodying the power of peace, he became the most powerful supporter of Alexstrasza.

After gaining power, the five Aspects were empowered to guard the world in the absence of the titans. Leaving dragons ready to protect their creation, the Titans left Azeroth forever.

The five aspects of dragons:
Nozdorm (bronze), Alexstrasza (Red), Ysera (green), Malygos (Blue), Neltharion (Black)

War between the Dragon Aspects

During the War of the Ancients, Nozdormu and his bronze dragons joined the army of the black Earth Guardian Neltharion, which he was gathering to fight the Burning Legion. Neltharion convinced the other Aspects to create a powerful artifact, combining some of their powers to rid the world of demons. Unbeknownst to the other dragons, Neltharion did not put his power into the artifact, later called the Demon Soul. Neltharion betrayed the other dragons during his battle with the demons. Since most of their strength was laid in the artifact of Neltharion, they could not resist the crazy dragon and fled from the battlefield.

The story of the dragon "Nozdormu"

After Kalimdor shattered, Nozdormu flew with the Queen of the Red Flight, Alexstrasza, to Mount Hyjal to see the new Well of Eternity created by Illidan Stormrage. Knowing that the existence of the well would bring the return of the Legion, Alexstrasza threw the seed of the giant Nordrassil tree into the center of the Well, where the World Tree Nordrassil grew. Nozdormu enchanted the tree, which made the Night Elves ageless and disease-free as long as they lived. After that, Nozdormu disappeared into the Caverns of Time, where he lost interest in the world, with the exception of various artifacts that his dragons brought him from different times.
This disinterest lasted 10,000 years, until the red dragon Korialstrasz, with the help of Ysera, convinced him to help him free Alexstrasza from the hands of the orcs who held her at the expense of the Demon Soul. The appearance of Neltharion, now known as the Deathwing, began a battle between him and the other aspects, but even the four of them could not defeat him until a human mage named Ronin was able to destroy the Demon Soul with the scales of the Deathwing. Then Alexstrasza, Ysera, Nozdormu, and Malygos got back all their abilities and defeated their former brother, and he flew away, licking his wounds.
Several years later, Nozdormu noticed an anomaly in space-time that threatened to tear the world apart. To prevent this hole from growing, he had to use all his abilities (as well as the abilities of all his personalities from the past and the future). Therefore, he summoned Korialstrasz to investigate the matter. Korialstrasz in the form of the elf wizard Krasus, Rhonin and the orc Broxigar were sent to the distant past - during the War of the Ancients. They soon learned that the Old Gods, trying to return to Azeroth, had begun using the Legion portal to do so. This is what caused the anomaly. The destruction of the Well of Time put an end to their plans and closed the anomaly. Also, these same Old Gods were guilty of Neltharion's madness, knowing that the dragons could resist them. At that time, the interests of Nozdormu were presented to his main wife Saridormi. Nozdormu then sent Krasus and Rhonin home to prevent further changes in the story.

You can find him in the location Dragonblight at coordinates 72.38

The story of the dragon "Malygos"

War of the Ancients
Malygos' pack surrounded Neltharion and tried to stop him. But with one powerful spell, Neltharion (now known as Deathwing) destroyed all the blue dragons, and Malygos himself was severely wounded (mentally and physically) and spent a long time unconscious. The loss of the pack drove the mighty Spellweaver mad for 10,000 years. He has lost all interest in the world.
Second war
After the Second War, the red dragon queen, Alexstrasza, was kidnapped by the orcs to create dragons for the Horde. Her younger consort, Korialstrasz, in his elven form known as Krasus, asked Malygos for help in freeing his beloved. Although Malygos initially refused, he changed his mind after Krasus said that Deathwing was still alive, and it was because of him that Alexstrasza was caught. He then convinced Malygos that Alexstrasza would help Malygos to revive his flock (Alexstrasza's younger sister Ysera also helped to convince Malygos and Nozdormu Krasus). Malygos agreed to return to the world and fight Neltharion.
After defeating Deathwing and destroying the Demon Soul, Malygos became himself again. The mage Ronin destroyed the artifact using a shard of Deathwing's own scales, restoring the Great Aspects to their full strength. As promised by Krasus, Alexstrasza helped Malygos revive her flock, although there are still quite a few of them compared to the past. Also helped by the blue eggs that Krasus saved during his stay in the past.
World of warcraft
An almost blue aspect known to all, Malygos is now in the Borean Tundra in the Nexus: Eye of Eternity raid dungeon.

The story of the dragon "Alexstrasza"

Ancient dragon queen, aspect (chapter) of the Red dragons. Empowered by the Titans to protect Azeroth. It is found in dragon form after the battle with Malygos, as well as when completing a chain of tasks with a final cartoon at the end and obtaining an achievement.
Creator of Nordrassil, the first world tree on Mount Hyjal, the source of immortality for the night elves before the battle with Archimonde. Received her power from Eonar, a bronze-skinned titan woman before the latter left Azeroth.
She was captured by the orcs, and during the Second War gave offspring, supplying them with dragons, whose father was Tyrannostrasz.
After the second war, Deathwing unwittingly freed her, fleeing from other aspects. Alexstrasza freed the young and flew with her husband Korialstrasz to the nest in Crestfall.
World of warcraft
In the game, the red dragon can be found after completing the quest chain in Dragonblight.

The story of the dragon "Ysera"

As mentioned above, she is the Famous Dreamer, the younger sister of Alexstrasza. One of the five Aspects (Guardians) endowed with power by the Pantheon. The titan Eonar endowed Ysera with a particle of natural power. May enter sleepers' dreams to contact or warn others. Sometimes she travels across Azeroth in the form of a dark elf in a green hood, with her eyes closed. The character is soft, not married, but very scary in anger.
World of warcraft
Ysera is currently in Northrend in the Dragonblight zone (Emerald Dragonshrine)
There is no more information about Ysera!

The story of the dragon "Neltharion (Deathwing)"

War of the Ancients
During the battle, Neltharion betrayed his allies and used the power of the Demon Soul (the new name of the artifact) against them. The first blow of the artifact destroyed almost all of the blue dragons of Malygos' flight, because of which Malygos then almost went insane himself. The other dragons, powerless against Neltharion, fled the battlefield.
Second war
Neltharion returned to his lair and forced the goblin engineers to weld plates of adamantite to his scales, as his body was torn apart by the enormous power of the Demon Soul.
The betrayal of Neltharion, who changed his name to Deathwing, did not pass without sacrifice for him. Almost all of the black dragons were destroyed, and other aspects were able to cast a spell on the Demon Soul, preventing Deathwing himself from using the artifact. When the Orcish Horde invaded Azeroth, he found new pawns for his plans. He became an ally of Ner "zul and even lived for several years in Draenor. In exchange for free access to the Dark Portal, Deathwing (or as he prefers, Lord Deathwing) moved to Draenor to take over that world without the intervention of other creatures. For unknown reasons, the black dragon also took his skull Gul "dan. Deathwing settled on a mountain range near the Hellish Citadel and began a struggle for a place of residence with the gronn and ogres living there. With the help of the Alliance forces, the giants managed to destroy most of Deathwing's eggs and cubs, and the magician Khadgar managed to severely injure the great dragon, damaging its plates. After fleeing the battlefield, the former Aspect returned via the Portal to Azeroth.
During the second war on Azeroth, Deathwing gave the artifact to the orc Nekros Skullcrusher. Thus, Nekros was able to capture Alexstrasza and keep her in the former dwarven city of Grim Batol. There, he forced her to give birth to dragons for the war of the orcs with the Alliance. Deathwing expected that after the orcs won the war, he could become the ruler of Azeroth. He also liked to assume human form and call himself Lord Dawal Prestor - a nobleman of a small state destroyed by the orcs. In this way, he destroyed trust between the nations of the Alliance. The main goal of the black dragon is to rule the world and the revival of the black flight.
Deathwing's plans were thwarted by the mage Ronin and the red dragon Korialstrasza, who destroyed the Demon Soul and freed Alexstrasza. In the final battle with the other aspects, Deathwing was badly injured and fled from his former brethren. Though believed by many to be dead, Deathwing lurks in the depths of Grim Batol, plotting his plans for revenge.
Today, Onyxia and Nefarian (Neltharion's daughter and son) continue their father's wicked work. Onyxia gives birth to dragon children in Dustwallow Marsh and at the same time infiltrates the capital city of Stormwind in the guise of Lady Katrana Prestor. Nefarian lives on top Black Mountain(English Blackrock Spire) and fights with the fire god Ragnaros for rule over the mountain, and also tries to create the new kind dragons - chromatic. It is also known that the main consort of Deathwing, Sintaria, also tried to create a new kind of dragons under the guise of Lady Sinestra. She was killed by her own creation, the twilight dragon Dargonax.
World of warcraft
On this moment in the game is not observed, but it is known that he will appear soon and will become the main boss in the new addon.

History of Sindragosa

On one of the sources, I found a small article

As we all know very well, society loves the leaders to be family men, so Malygos was married to Sindragos, and, according to surviving sources, even loved her.
They would have lived happily ever after, but as it should be, a disaster struck. The ancient gods, trying to return to Azeroth, drove the leader of the Black Dragons, Neltharion, mad. Crazy Neltharion created a powerful artifact - the Demon Soul, into which he placed a particle of the powers of all dragon aspects, except for his own.
The artifact was created for the battle with the Burning Legion, but during the battle the leader of the black dragons used the Demon Soul against his allies, thereby almost completely destroying the blue dragonflight and driving Malygos mad, and Sindragosa was thrown far to the north. Sindragosa realized that its end was near and tried to get to Dragonblight to die there, but the dragon's strength was not enough. She was forced to die in the lands of Icecrown. In her dying delirium, Sindragosa vowed to take revenge on the mortal world.
The place where Sindragosa died was named the Canyon of Sindragosa's Fall.

We draw conclusions from such parameters who will be stronger at the moment ( Wrath the Lich King), Deathwing does not count, since he is not observed in the game, and it is known that in the next expansion he will be better than these as main boss, although probably more stats can be added to this dragon (except for Malygos, since he is already considered dead in the game).

More like an abominable clot of dark energy than a dragon, Ultraxion has spent its short life consuming the essence of captured Nether dragons. He is the only twilight dragon ever to receive the praise of Deathwing, and his arrogance is second only to the power raging in his body of energy. Ultraxion, loyal to his master, vowed to destroy Wyrmrest Temple.

Boss abilities

Abilities of the Aspects

The Aspects assist the players in the fight against Ultraxion.

Differences from normal

Ultraxion's Heroic mode doesn't differ much from the normal mode. Perhaps the most significant difference is the much higher DPS requirements. In addition, in battle, you will notice the following differences:
  • The dying light is now hung on more players. In 10th heroics, the debuff is received by a tank and 2 more players, and in 25th heroic - a tank and six more players.
  • Within 5 seconds after the disappearance of the Dying Light, the player receives 100% more physical damage (instead of the effect that disables the generation of aggro).
  • Time of Twilight should now hit a minimum of 2 players in 10K, and a minimum of 5 players in 25K.
  • If you are in the Twilight Dimension during the Time of Twilight cast, a two-minute debuff Looming Darkness is applied to you, killing you if you take damage from the Time of Twilight a second time.
  • Well, of course, the boss grew fat, his melee attacks began to hit harder, and the damage from the Unstable Beast also increased significantly.

Strategy

The strategy for Ultraxion in Heroic is the same as for Normal. The only difference is that you will need to build a rotation with players taking turns surviving under the Twilight Time. Well, you may need to use fewer healers to meet the berserk timer.

Survival Under Twilight

As we said, every time a player takes damage from the Time of Twilight, Looming Darkness is hung on him. This debuff prevents Time of Twilight damage from being taken for the next two minutes. Therefore, you will need to divide the raid into three groups, which will take turns receiving damage.

In 10k, these are three groups of 2 players - a total of 6 people.
In 25ke, these are three groups of 5 players - a total of 15 people.

However, this only applies to RL. From the point of view of the average player, the process of survival under the Time of Twilight has not changed compared to normal.

It is important to remember that the Oncoming Darkness is applied to you only if you have taken damage from the Time of Twilight. And therefore, if you managed to avoid receiving damage, then you will not receive the debuff, and you can stay for the second time for the Time of Twilight in the twilight dimension. This frees your hands a bit when forming groups. The following classes can avoid the debuff:

  • Rogues - use Cloak of Shadows first, then Fake Lunge.
  • Shooting hunters can also stay twice during Twilight by using Deterrence twice through the Ready talent.
  • Paladins - use Divine Shield first, then Divine Protection
  • In the arsenal of the mages Ice Block and Cauterize.
Since tanks do not lose aggro in heroics, they can also be shoved into groups that absorb the Time of Twilight. Before starting the cast, do not forget to hang shields on the players remaining in the twilight dimension, and the players themselves must squeeze out their protective cooldowns.

Berserker timer

The "rubric" of tactics on heroics, which has become a dear one for all, is not without it. Only in the case of Ultraxion, the berserker timer is perhaps the only problem. When you figure out the rotations, the wipes will start directly at a few percent of the boss's HP.

Yes, now a small boss nerf is already included, which should help with the berserker timer, but what the hell is not kidding. If you are experiencing similar problems, then the first thing to do is to reduce the number of healers to a minimum. In 10k you can get by with two healers, and in 25k - five. In addition, at the beginning of the battle, while the damage is small, healers should also help damage Ultraxion. Priest disciplines are especially useful from this point of view.

In the last seconds of the battle, do not forget to build a rotation of raid cooldowns, as the damage to the raid will be really huge.

In general, if none of the above methods helps - continue to farm the previous bosses, gradually dress better, and, sooner or later, you will succeed!

Finally it happened. Less than half a year has passed) Father's fangs - collected by my robber! Mission accomplished. What can you say about the quest chain itself? How epic was she?

I don’t know how other quests for legendary weapons, because I haven’t done a single one yet, but only watched how the guild members collected, I can say one thing that it’s not known how much crap in the part to collect, they are all the same. But what happens at the time of the delivery of these pieces or intermediate quests is exactly what is most interesting.

Making legendaries for a rogue, I really liked the stealth missions, the task of which was to kill the black dragons engulfed in madness, so that in the end there was only one Black Prince Wrathion, whose egg was once rescued from the clutches of the mad Deathwing. Unfortunately, I didn’t record the passage, and there were 2 of them in stealth, but I will say that it was quite difficult. Here I found a recording of the first stealth action on YouTube, after which they give to collect 333 fragments:

I was somewhat lucky with these quests, because when I got to the boss, they were quite thick and I had to fight with them for a long time, avoiding special abilities, knocking down castes in time and constantly regenerating life. So, it was lucky that both times, another robber, an enemy one, had already fought with the boss. But when there is a common enemy, you always come to an understanding. Together, we stabbed these bastards without any problems. But it was also necessary to get to them. Every time I was discovered, I was taken to the beginning of the zone and everything had to start all over again. Here I had to try and give my best, and this for me was the most interesting.

Further, in the intervals, there were collection of fragments and clusters. Maybe I would have collected these daggers much earlier, but sometimes there was no Internet, and sometimes I was late for the raid, or vice versa, there were no people on the raid. In general, instead of the planned 8 weeks of collecting the second shards, they stretched for 12. In the end, it was still a surprise that I still needed to get Deathwing's head, and just the 60th gem I got from Deathwing, therefore, 1 cd had to go empty just because of Deathwing's head.

But now, the head is received and you need to pick up your daggers. The crow's estate is on fire, and Wrathion claims that they tried to kill him and the last black dragon remained, his right hand. Having trolled this dragon a little, the Black Prince infuriates him and forces him to take its true form. That's it, I think. Right now there will be the last fight. But no, no fight. A simple order from the Black to show my new-found strength, and in flight with two wings behind my back, with one blow I kill the last mad black dragon. Epic? Fuck there!

I've always loved it when epic events happened as we flew through Stormwind. A blue dragon hovers over the city and praises the lucky new owner. For me, it's pretty epic and a little satisfying to the sense of self-importance. And here, I was only a witness to this scene, and my guildmates who saw the achievement in the chat. That's all.

The wing effect, which is triggered by using daggers, looks cool and has an analogue of an Enchanter's parachute, but with a CD of 5 minutes. Long and not very effective: (In general, I will not say that I am disappointed, because they give an excellent bonus to damage, but still, I would like some nicer buns. But apparently this is our share, robbers, to stay in the shadows and be content small =)

P.S. I completely forgot about the official selection of video clips about the chain of quests for the legendary daggers from Blizzard. From it it is completely clear what is what, even to those who did not play for the robber or decided not to participate in this test.
