Important: Coming out mid-summer 2019 new patch and the mod installation folder will change, now they need to be installed in the WOT/res_mods/1.5.1/ and WOT/mods/1.5.1/ folders. Description of the Laser Pointer for 1.5.1.1
20 seconds later the LT takes the hill at Rudniki, the battle seemed to have started successfully, but then the car explodes after a well-aimed shot from the enemy. This happens often, but if you install Laser pointers, the likelihood of death is reduced significantly. The fact is that the cheat adds a bright red pointer, which is drawn from the trunks of all opponents. Thanks to this, the player knows where even the most distant opponents are aiming. And knowing this information, you can immediately take cover and prevent the enemy from successfully shooting.
In short, the pointer allows you to follow general situation in battle, the player will immediately notice that they are targeting him.
Some nuances of the pointer’s operation can be configured; to do this, open the mod_Lasers.xml config with Notepad++, it is located in the scriptsclientguimods folder. You can configure four items.
- Default activity.
- Option to attach a laser to either a gun or a mask.
- Language of the pop-up text above the minimap.
- Power key, default is Numpad7.

Installing the Laser pointers mod for 1.5.1.1
- Extract the configs folder to /World_of_Tanks/mods/. The rest of the archive contents are copied to /World_of_Tanks/mods/[patch number].
