Mod information panel of the selected target. World of Tanks "Information panel of the current target." Setting the Current Goal Dashboard

During a battle, it is very important to receive prompt and, most importantly, necessary information. If you are a novice player, you are unlikely to be able to remember the names of all the tanks and their main characteristics. Not every experienced tanker can do this. We present to you a mod that allows you to display information about the current target. The proposed mod has five different options. Therefore, let's look at each of them in more detail.

This version of the mod is a real masterpiece. Everything here is thought out to the smallest detail, and all the colors match the colors of the game perfectly. You can verify this by looking at the picture presented. The information provided in the panel will definitely be useful to you during the battle.

When pointing at a tank, the following information is displayed:

Simple panel

This option works with absolutely any sights. To get information about a tank, just aim at the enemy. As a result, a window will appear in the lower left corner giving the following information:

Names of the tank and guns;
Gun reload time;
View radius;
All information about the armor characteristics of the tank;
Average gun damage;
Armor penetration.

The panel displays the tank icon, just like in the hangar. The archive with the panel contains a file with its settings. This allows you to adjust it to your needs.

Panel version made in color

The information displayed here is the same as in the previous version, but it is highlighted in color, which makes it easier to perceive.
Review and reload only

According to the wishes of tankers, we present a simplified version of the panel, which contains a minimum useful information, namely an overview of the tank and its reload time. The information is located in the center of the screen under the gun, which allows you not to lose sight of it.
Detailed panel with tank icons, like in “ears”

For those who don’t know what “ears” are, they are a list of players that are displayed during the 30-second countdown before a battle. It shows icons of tanks and the names of players participating in the battle. In this panel, images of tanks are replaced with icons that are presented in the “ears”. All other information remains unchanged.

Setting the Current Goal Information Panel:

To install, simply copy the gui and scripts folders to:/World_of_Tanks/res_mods/Game_Version/.

Mod structure:

res_mods/Game_Version/gui/scaleform/InfoPanel.swf - the panel itself

Latest update information: Updated for 1.4.0.1

Important: Coming out mid-summer 2019 new patch and the mod installation folder will change, now they need to be installed in the WOT/res_mods/1.5.1/ and WOT/mods/1.5.1/ folders. Most of the mods are working, just move them to the 1.5.1 folder, if one of the mods still doesn’t work, wait for it to be adapted on our website.

Info panels are a great choice for every newcomer to the World of Tanks. When you aim the sight at an enemy vehicle, a small window will appear on the screen with the main characteristics of any vehicle, where a lot of data is indicated, from the armor of the hull and turret to the duration of reloading the gun.

Enemy Information Panel Overview

Depending on different panel options, the list of data may be different, but most of these mods provide the following data:

  • a summary of the opponent's armor, including the thickness of the steel in the turret and hull;
  • recharge duration;
  • machine review;
  • Its name;
  • damage dealt;
  • breaking through.

We have added two versions of the panel to the archive. They differ in both appearance and information set. The screenshot below shows the first version, with icons and booking data. For my taste, the tank icon is unnecessary, but maybe some players will like it:

The second panel is more informative and lacks icons. It displays the opponent's armor, name, reload, damage dealt, visibility and weight:

Such panels look great paired with custom sights, for example, is well suited, where in addition to interface changes you can also find an armor penetration calculator.

Installing an info panel about the current goal for 1.5.1.1

  • Extract the configs folder to /World_of_Tanks/mods/. The rest of the archive contents are copied to /World_of_Tanks/mods/[patch number].

Hello, dear tankers! Today we will look at interesting mod, showing information about vehicles directly in battle.

Why is he interesting, you ask? Did you know specifications all equipment in game World of Tanks? Do you know the characteristics of all guns and appearance can they be determined on any technique? I think there are few such experienced players. And here this mod contains all this information. Now you just need to aim your sight at any tank, and you will see all the characteristics of its armor and gun. The mod shows very useful information about the penetration and damage caused by the enemy cannon, as well as its overview. Also, the background of the mod’s indicators is transparent and you can see it will not block the screen too much.

Personally I think this useful and interesting mod, but mainly for beginners. The only thing I didn’t like was that it shows a rather large picture and sometimes it can get in the way and distract attention.

Installation

To install the mod, you need to extract the res_mods folder from the archive into the client folder with the game with replacement.
