Musical game with a leaf, voiced with words. Cheerful musicians - a game for children. Catch-up games - an active game for children

The traditional Russian way of having fun: singing your favorite songs in chorus with an accordion (or without it) is still popular, especially among the older generation, but new ones are being added musical entertainment, games and competitions that add variety, warmth and enthusiasm to the entertainment programs of the holidays.

The most favorite musical entertainment at the holiday is: karaoke, various adaptations of songs, music quizzes, song re-renditions with tasks, or performance of the text of a famous song in a different style: rap ,folk, musical, etc. If a musical company is gathering, then the whole scenario can be conceived as a show, let the guests demonstrate their talents all evening - for example, “Become a Star” (you can watch).

Music games and competitions from our selection are very diverse: completely new and long-loved, lyrical and funny, table and game.

1. Musical game "Noise Makers".

(to download - click on the file)

6. Musical warm-up.

Remember the KVN “Warm-up” competition, and arrange the same improvisation at the festival, only not from jokes, but from songs. Teams must exchange questions and answers from songs, i.e. one team remembers a question line from songs, the other an affirmative line that matches the meaning. Then they change roles. For example, the question: “Why are you standing there, swaying, thin rowan?”, the answer: “I’m drunk and drunk, I won’t make it home!” Or: “Where are you, Marusya, who are you walking with?” - “...I’m walking along the sleepers, again walking home along the sleepers out of habit.”

You can play until your imagination runs out.

7. Musical compliments.

The program of any holiday, and especially a corporate one, can include a musical exchange of compliments between the male and female half of the room. This is very simple to do: the female team remembers flattering lines from songs about men, and the men, on the contrary, sing excerpts from songs that can be regarded as compliments to the ladies. And one by one they begin to exchange these musical compliments.

As an example of praise to gentlemen, the presenter can recite the following lines from A. Sviridova’s song:

“How good! You can trust the man!

How good! And don’t think about anything!”

Like a song nod to beautiful ladies - a verse from Yu. Antonov’s hit:

“Attention, men! There is no reason to laugh!

Today, women are a match for us in every task,

And we, of our own free will, teach the roles of others,

The winner is the team that names the most musical compliments within ten minutes, although there is no need to count, let friendship win.

This stream of song compliments can be directed in one direction, for example, on the women's holiday on March 8, you can arrange a musical congratulation - a medley, which will consist of excerpts of compliment songs.

8. Song encyclopedia.

For this song rehearsal, you can divide the hall into several teams (depending on the number of guests) and prepare cards in advance with the intended themes of the songs: animals, birds, plants, travel, love, and so on. Each team draws three to five cards. Five to seven minutes are given to think.

Then, by drawing lots for themes, each team presents its musical illustrations, for example, the theme “Stones”: “Give me Moonstone“,” “He has a granite pebble in his chest,” “I can do everything, I can do everything - my heart is not a stone.” It is allowed to sing either one line from a song or an entire verse or chorus. The main thing is that it corresponds to the meaning of the task.

For each answer given to the topic - a point. The winners are determined by the amount of points earned.

9. "Orchestra of virtual instruments."

From the guests (10 - 15 people) we create an Orchestra of virtual instruments - everyone draws a card with a written instrument, each of them, of course, has a different one. Participants must depict playing instruments very expressively, so that it is clear who is playing what music.

Then the presenter explains that he will be a conductor, but also play the drum. However, the leading conductor will always “switch” to any other instrument, and the player whose instrument is this moment portrayed by the presenter, must immediately stop his movements.

In this way, those “musicians” who “missed” the leader’s new movement gradually drop out of the game of the virtual orchestra. The most attentive player wins.

10. Musical ABC.

Number of players: any
Optional: red scarves or headbands
All players are divided equally into two teams. Players from the same team are designated as "People": they are marked either with bright red scarves around their necks or with bright red wide tape wrapped around the biceps of both arms. Players on the other team are designated as “Vampires” and do not have any headband markers. The goal of the “Vampires” is to capture as many “People” as possible, who, after capture, also become “Vampires”. The main charm of the game is that the “Vampires” do not have any bandage markers and the “People” are in constant tension and ready to run away from the “Vampires” filling the playing area.

Snowballs - winter game for children

Number of players: any
Additionally: snow
In winter, you can remember this old Russian pastime.
The game usually involves two teams throwing snowballs at each other.

Monkey tag - a game for children

Number of players: any
Additional: no
The driver must imitate the one running away like a monkey. For example, if the person being pursued unexpectedly (the runner will do such things on purpose) jumps on one leg, then the driver should jump after him on one leg. If the driver did not manage to repeat the movements of the runner in time, then the “greasing” does not count and the runner is given 5 seconds to run away again.

Gates - an outdoor game for children

Number of players: child and adult
Additional: no
If you have a very small but overly active child, then you can try to captivate him in this way.
Let's play outside! The child runs up to you, you spread your legs... and, as it were, “step over” him. He comes back, runs up to you, you again let him pass under you, as if through a “gate”. The main thing is energy in a peaceful direction. The game can be improved and furnished with jokes, add additional objects and tasks like “take the ball, carry it through the gate, put it in the stroller...”.

Catch-up games - an active game for children

Number of players: any
Additionally: 2 spools of thread or very long threads in two colors (preferably blue and red)
We choose a leader. A thread is tied on everyone's hand in a visible place, but the knot is not tightened tightly. Boys and girls have different colors.
The task is to catch up with any person and break the thread from him. The difficulty is that the one who is caught can also tear the thread from the hand of the person who is snatching it. The one whose thread was torn off goes to the leader.

Dungeon Escape - Game for Kids

Number of players: any
Additional: no
The game is reminiscent of the old game "Cat and Mouse". The participants of the game, holding hands, form a circle. Inside is a prisoner or captive, outside is his or her friend. The prisoner must break out, his assistant must deceive the guards. The one who lets the prisoner go takes his place.

Bells - an outdoor game for children

Number of players: any
Extras: bell
Children stand in a circle. Two people come out into the middle - one with a bell or bell, the other with a blindfold. Everyone sings:
Tryntsy-bryntsy, bells,
The daredevils called:
Digi-digi-digi-don,
Guess where the ringing comes from!
After these words, the “blind man’s buff” catches the dodging player.

Bottomless Barrel - a game for children

Number of players: any
Additionally: barrel without bottom, ball
An ordinary barrel without a bottom is suspended on the playground at a height of three meters. The player on the run must throw the ball into the barrel with an accurate blow from the bottom up. The one who does this three times wins.

Musical games in summer for big and small. Consultation for parents

The sun is shining more and more often outside the window, the air is getting warmer and warmer, and you already want to quickly leave the apartment that has become boring over the winter. I'm drawn to go out into nature, walk barefoot on the ground, breathe fresh air filled with the smells of young greenery. And, of course, when going out of town, you will take your child with you. He will rediscover what he had forgotten over the winter, and somewhere even new world. If the baby’s birthday or name day falls in the warm season, then the celebration can be moved to nature, but even without a proper reason, such a trip will be greeted with enthusiasm.

Cloud: bang. Bang, bang! (stomping feet)

Centipede

Children line up in a column. They place their hands on each other's shoulders, imitating a centipede.
They learn to pronounce the text clearly and perform movements in the rhythm of the poem.
Performed without music.

1. A centipede was walking
Along a dry path (children walk at a rhythmic pace, slightly springing)
2. Suddenly it began to rain: drip!
-Oh, forty paws will get wet! (Children stop and squat slightly)
3. I don’t need a runny nose
I'll go around the puddles! (they walk raising their knees high, as if walking through puddles)
4. I won’t bring dirt into the house
I shake each paw (they stop. They shake one leg0
5.And then I’ll stomp
Oh, what thunder from the paws! (children stomp their feet)

  1. BOMB

the main objective

Developing the ability to listen and find the source of sound.

Additional goals

Development of cooperation in the group

What you will need

Alarm clock (can be replaced with a metronome).

Number of participants

From 3 to 10.

Basic option

One of the participants leaves the room, and one of the remaining ones hides the alarm clock. When everything is ready, the driver is invited into the room and asked to find the alarm clock.

Notes

The group can be reminded that they should not make noise and tell the driver where the alarm clock is.

Other options

The driver can be blindfolded.
You can introduce an element of competition by choosing two people to play the role of drivers at the same time.
The whole group can search for a sound source at the same time. In this case, the players should try to move silently around the room.
The alarm can be set to ring in 1-2 minutes. The driver should try to detect it before it rings.

  1. QUIET AND LOUD

the main objective

Developing endurance and listening skills.

Additional goals

Development of the ability to predict events.
Developing the ability to concentrate.

What you will need

Number of participants

From 6 to 10.

Basic option

Participants are divided into two groups according to the types of instruments, sit opposite each other and prepare to play in turns. The presenter explains that the group with tambourines should play quietly, and the group with tambourines should play loudly. The music plays and the bands play accordingly.

Notes

Each group may have a “leader” or “conductor”.
At first, you can take a break between musical fragments of different styles.
Some participants may need help to listen and wait their turn when another group is playing.

Other options You can use contrasting music - both energetic and
and calm. Each group can have its own song or theme song

  1. BELLS AND TAMMORIES

the main objective

Developing group cooperation and the ability to concentrate

Additional goals

Developing observation skills.
Developing listening skills.

What you will need

An equal number of bells and tambourines with cymbals - one instrument for each participant. Portable synthesizer or music audio recording.

Number of participants

From 6 to 10.

Basic option

Participants are divided into groups according to the types of instruments: in one group - with tambourines, in the other - with bells. When the music starts, everyone dances, moving freely around the room. When the music stops, the participants with tambourines form one group, and the participants with tambourines form another. The music starts again, the groups mingle, and everyone dances. The game continues the same way

Notes

At the beginning, adults can take part in the game to help group formation at the right time

Other options Other suitable tools can be used,
use not two, but three types of tools.

  1. MOTORCYCLIST

the main objective

Developing listening skills.

Additional goals

Forming movement control and increasing reaction speed.
Formation of spatial representations. Stimulating creative vocalization.

What you will need

One harmonica

Number of participants

From 3 to 6.

Basic option

The group settles down in a room, leaving plenty of room to run around. One of the participants is chosen to play the role of a motorcyclist who will circle around the room on an imaginary motorcycle. The presenter or one of the participants imitates the sounds of a motorcycle on the kazoo: the moment of starting, accelerating, decelerating, turning the throttle.

Notes

It is useful to practice imitating sounds before the motorcyclist begins to move.
This game can be a conversation starter about road safety.

Other options

The presenter can place chairs in the room so that the “motorcyclist” moves in a circle, etc.
Two participants can ride a motorcycle at the same time to the accompaniment of the same kazoo.

IN THE DIRECTION?

the main objective

Developing the ability to listen and concentrate

Additional goals

Developing a sense of belonging to a group.
Formation of ideas about direction.
Development of endurance.

What you will need

Bells and portable synthesizer

Number of participants

From 4 to 10.

Basic option

The group sits in a circle. When the music starts (in the middle register of the synthesizer), the players begin to pass the bells clockwise. Suddenly the leader plays the highest two notes on the synthesizer, and the group changes the direction of the bells, passing them counterclockwise. The music continues to play, and each time two high notes are heard, the direction of the bells changes

Notes

It is not necessary for a synthesizer player to be proficient in the instrument. However, he must be able to ensure that the direction of movement of the bells changes in time and remains unchanged until the two high notes are sounded.

Other options

Other small instruments such as maraca and cabasa can be passed on.
A portable synthesizer can be replaced with other melodic instruments, such as a xylophone.
The signal to change the direction of movement of the bells can be given by striking the cymbal or drum with the sticks. In this case, an audio recording is used instead of a synthesizer.

  1. CATCH THE RHYTHM!

the main objective

Developing listening skills

Additional goals

Increased ability to concentrate.
Development of short-term memory.

Number of participants

From 3 to 8.

Basic option

The group sits in a circle. The presenter claps his hands using a simple rhythm that is easy to repeat (for example,). Whenever possible, participants join the leader and eventually clap together. The leader can then stop and set a different rhythm.

Notes

The facilitator may need to encourage participants to listen carefully and not clap randomly.

Other options

You can tap the rhythm on different parts of the body.
Rhythm can be accompanied by words. For example, "Da-vid Hall" or "Noodle Soup".
Each participant can be asked to become a presenter in turn.
For accompaniment, you can use a musical audio recording.
You can use instruments such as tambourines.
Simple rhythms can be repeated immediately by the group (like an echo).
Participants can repeat a given rhythm one after another, taking turns.
When the first rhythm is mastered by the whole group, the leader can move on to the next one without interruption. He may say, “Things are changing,” to signal the group to change to a new rhythm.

  1. MOUSE

the main objective

Development of tactile sensations.

What you will need

A toy mouse (or a soft doll), a tambourine with cymbals, a scarf.

Additional goals

Developing a tolerant attitude towards physical contact with other people.
Developing awareness of different parts of your body.
Developing the ability to listen and concentrate.

Number of participants

From 3 to 6.

Basic option

Two participants sit on chairs opposite each other. One of them is blindfolded, and the other is given a tambourine. The presenter stands next to the one who is blindfolded, holding a mouse in his hands. The second participant sits quietly and watches. When he starts playing the tambourine, the presenter “releases” the mouse, which “runs,” “jumps,” “climbs” (according to the character and tempo of the sound of the tambourine) all over the body of the blindfolded person. After some time, the participants change places.

Notes

The participant along whom the mouse is “running” should not try to catch it with his hands. He should focus as much as possible on his feelings.
Participants can discuss their feelings with each other.
The most sensitive participants may initially play without a blindfold, and the presenter should in such cases guide the mouse very confidently, “definitely.”

Other options

One of the participants can control the mouse.
You can use other tools and other toy animals.
You can use two different tools: one - under which the mouse, for example, “runs”; the other - which he “jumps” under.
Different tools can be used for different parts of the body on which the mouse “runs”: for example, bells for the hands and a drum for the feet.
The participant controlling the mouse can sing along to himself, replacing the sounds of the tambourine with his voice and improvising on the theme of the mouse movements

  1. WHERE WILL I PLAY?

the main objective

Initiative development.

Additional goals

Developing listening skills.

What you will need

Tambourine with cymbals for each participant. Portable synthesizer or audio recording of dance music.

Number of participants

From 3 to 6.

Basic option

Participants dance in a free manner and play tambourines. After a few minutes, the presenter turns the music down and invites the participants to play the tambourines, showing different places where they will hit the tambourine. This could be the back of another participant, the floor or wall of the room, your own knee, etc.

Notes

Calm, melodic music ensures that the participants do not hit each other with tambourines too vigorously.

Other options

Participants can themselves propose a variety of places to play tambourines.
You can balance, trying to keep the tambourines on different parts of the body.
Participants can pair up with one common tambourine.

  1. SCARECROW

the main objective

Additional goals

Development of endurance.
Improving movement control.
Increased self-confidence..

What you will need

Small patches of color (approximately 20 cm2), one for each participant

Number of participants

From 3 to 10

Basic option

The group sits in a circle. Each participant chooses a piece of paper. One of the participants stands in the center of the circle, spreading his arms to the sides. The rest come up to him and hang their rags on his head, arms, shoulders, legs. Then everyone except the "scarecrow" returns to their seats and sings some calm song, for example, one of the versions of "She is a lassie from Lancashire" (see below). The “scarecrow” spins very carefully so that the flaps do not fall off it. The singers gradually increase the tempo, the “scarecrow” spins faster and faster and eventually shakes off all the rags.

Notes

Singing can be accompanied by clapping your hands, and when the “scarecrow” throws off all the flaps, applaud him.
At first, the participant in the role of scarecrow may need help to stand still.

Other options

Several participants can be “scarecrows” - they spin around holding hands.

  1. GROWING FLOWERS

the main objective

Developing leadership abilities and strengthening self-confidence.

Additional goals

Increasing the interest of participants to be active in the game.
Developing observation skills.

What you will need

A musical instrument for each participant, two or three large paper flowers on sticks

Number of participants

From 3 to 4.

Basic option

One of the group plays a musical instrument, and the rest listen. Along with the sounds of the instrument, a flower (which is held on a long stick by one of the adults, invisible to the players) appears from behind the piano or other piece of furniture. If the music stops, the flower stops “growing.” If the music is fast and loud, the flower “grows” faster. When the flower can no longer “grow,” everyone begins to dance or imitate the “withering” of the flower - this depends on the nature of the music.

Notes

If possible, it is better to conduct the lesson in a room with high ceilings so that the flower can “grow” for a long time.

Other options

Two participants can play different instruments at the same time, “leading” two flowers.
One of the participants can help manage the flower.
You can use different flowers or differently colored ones.

  1. CREATE YOUR OWN DANCE!

the main objective

Increasing confidence when performing solo on musical instruments.

Additional goals

Encouraging creativity.
Developing endurance and improving listening skills.

What you will need

Approximately twenty colorful patches, measuring approx.
20 cm2 each. Portable synthesizer or music audio recording of dance music of various styles.

Number of participants

From 3 to 6.

Basic option

One of the participants performs solo, and the rest are spectators. The soloist arranges the rags on the floor the way he likes and chooses the music. After that, he dances, improvising with the scraps: jumping on them like bumps, or spinning around them. When the dance is completed, the soloist is applauded and passes the pieces to the next participant.

Notes

If the audience gets tired, they can be invited to join in the dance by clapping their hands.
Some participants may want to choose specific pieces of music for their dance - very fast or very slow.

Other options

Spectators can accompany the dancer with their instruments.
Two members may want to dance at the same time, or a soloist may want to be accompanied on a particular instrument by someone from the group.
If the size of the room allows, you can use hoops instead of flaps in the dance.
This game can be a successful continuation of the game "Glued Foot" (the last one), in which all participants dance at the same time.

  1. SWINGING HOOPS

the main objective

Development of the ability to distribute roles and objects.

Additional goals

Improving motor control and the ability to maintain balance in a sitting position.
Developing listening skills

What you will need

Hoops for each pair of participants. Portable synthesizer or audio recording of rocking dance music

Number of participants

From 4 to 10.

Basic option

Participants, divided into pairs, sit on the floor facing each other.
Each couple has a hoop. When the music starts, couples holding the hoop
With opposite sides, begin to sway back and forth. When the music stops, the movement stops.

Notes

There are different sitting positions to choose from, and each participant should be helped to find the one that is most comfortable for them.

Other options

The tempo of the music and swings can be changed.
Participants can swing not only back and forth, but also from side to side.

  1. KATY OR FUCK IT!

the main objective

Developing the ability to cooperate in a group.

Additional goals

Development of the ability to distinguish sounds.
Developing eye contact.
Developing the ability to correlate movements with sounds.

What you will need

Two contrasting sounding musical instruments. One ball.

Number of participants

From 6 to 10

Basic option

The group sits in a circle and one member is asked to take their instruments and sit outside the circle. Someone sitting in a circle takes the ball. The group decides which of the instruments will give the signal to throw the ball, and which will give the signal to roll it. Participants throw or roll the ball to each other depending on what instrument the person sitting outside the circle is playing. During the pause, the ball remains with someone from the group.

Notes

The facilitator may need to remind the participant playing a musical instrument to pause while changing instruments.
For those playing outside the circle, in order not to be distracted, it is better to look to the side and not at the group.
Participants may need to be reminded to remain seated during all ball manipulations.

Other options

The player behind the circle can sing songs with contrasting sounds.
You can use different types and sizes of balls.
You can also use other objects, such as bean bags or hula hoops (to roll across the floor).
You can try different ways of passing the ball, for example, with your feet.
Three or more tools can be used.

  1. HAT DANCE

the main objective

Additional goals

Developing the ability to concentrate.
Developing the ability to self-aware in a group.
Development of responsibility and caring.

What you will need

Hat. Portable synthesizer or music audio recording.

Number of participants

From 4 to 8

Basic option

The group sits in a circle. When the music starts, participants pass the hat around the circle, taking turns putting it on their neighbor's head. When the music is interrupted, the presenter asks the participant who happened to have a hat at that moment to show some kind of movement so that everyone else will repeat it. The music starts again and the game continues

Notes

The presenter needs to ensure that the transfer of the hat occurs precisely through putting it on, and not pulling it off from the neighbor.
The tempo of the music can affect the speed at which the hat is passed.

Other options

You can transfer other items, for example, a scarf, gloves, jacket, watch.

  1. GROUP IN HOOPS

the main objective

Development of cooperation in the group..

Additional goals

Formation of movement control.
Encouraging initiative.

What you will need

Hoops, one for each participant. A portable synthesizer or audio recording with slow marching music.

Number of participants

From 4 to 10

Basic option

Everyone takes a hoop and, with its help, “clings” to another participant - and so on until the whole group is connected by hoops. Having connected in this way, the participants stand quietly waiting for the music to sound and then try to move so as to maintain the chain

Notes

The facilitator can tell the participants different ways to grip: by the shoulders, arms, legs, head, torso, etc.

Other options

Participants can huddle together to form a very small “group in hoops” or, scattering as far apart as possible, form a long chain. They can also get creative and give the group a pointed or rounded shape.
Instead of hoops, you can use small flaps (each approximately 20 cm2). Participants can “stick” to each other - see “Glued Leg”.
When the “hoop group” is formed, each participant can be given a small instrument to play along sounding music. .

RED HAND

the main objective

Developing endurance and cooperation skills.

Additional goals

Developing a conscious attitude towards other people.
Developing listening skills.
Formation of leadership ability.
Exercise in color recognition.

What you will need

One large drum on a stand. Stickers or paints suitable for hands or nails.

Number of participants

From 3 to 4.

Basic option

Each participant calmly places his hand on the drum. The back of the hand is painted with different colors or stickers of different colors are glued to it. One of the participants plays the game, calling hands by color, for example: “Red hand” - and the hand hits the drum once. Then the other hand is called and the game continues.

Notes

Perhaps the participants should all play the drum together for a while, so as not to lose interest in the game while waiting for their turn.
The participant leading the game can also be a “painted hand”.
The leader of the game can determine the force of hitting the drum by calling the hand in a quiet or loud voice.

Other options

You can play with two hands, colored the same color or different colors.
You can duplicate colors so that two or more participants play at the same time.
You can paint several nails or fingers with different colors.
Participants may place their hands on their laps rather than on the drum while waiting their turn. In this case, the game leader should remember what colors he names.

  1. CLAP AND SWING!

the main objective

Additional goals

Developing the ability to concentrate.
Developing listening skills.
Developing awareness of different parts of your body.

Number of participants

From 3 to 10.

Basic option

Participants clap their hands while the presenter sings the appropriate words to the tune of the song “We are not afraid of the gray wolf.” For example, such as: “Well, everyone clap your hands...” (see below). Having finished the phrase, the leader continues to sing at a different tempo, much slower,
with changes in words, for example: “We are trees in the wind, in the wind...”. These two versions of the song can be repeated, alternating, the desired number of times.

Notes

Participants will be more attentive if there is a short pause between parts of the song.

Other options

After several repetitions, the melody can sound without words,
and it is enough for the leader, by making appropriate movements, to encourage the group to follow him.
You can try other movements, such as stomping your feet or nodding.
Participants themselves can suggest movements for the game.
Participants can play in pairs, clapping each other's knees or clapping their hands.
The presenter can change the words of the song, naming body parts according to the movements.

  1. COLORED HATS

the main objective

Formation of movement control.

Additional goals

Improving listening skills.
Development of endurance and ability to predict events.

What you will need

Small patches of color (approximately 20 cm2) - at least one for each participant.

Number of participants

From 3 to 10.

Basic option

Each participant chooses a piece of paper and places it on their head like a hat. The presenter begins to sing: “We have hats, hats of all colors!”, repeating this line several times, and then at the end: “One, two, three - shake it off!” (see melody below) - at the same time, the presenter shakes his head, throwing off the flap. At the same time, repeating after the leader, all participants take off their imaginary hats.

Notes

Participants should not help themselves with their hands when removing the flap from their heads.
Some participants will take longer than others to shed their patches.
The group should wait until all participants have thrown off their patches, and only then continue the game.

Other options

You can also remove flaps from your arms, feet, neck, palms, etc.
The flaps can be matched to the color of the clothing.
Those who, for example, have red rags, can be the first to throw them off their heads, and everyone else can follow them.
Participants can shake off the rags and wave them in the air.
The words “We have hats...”, etc. You can pronounce it, not sing it. You can also accompany the song with a guitar, synthesizer, tambourine, or clap your hands.
This game may predate the Scarecrow game.

  1. "SLEEPING" TAMMOMBER

the main objective

Formation of control over movements and development of the ability to concentrate attention.

Additional goals

Development of cooperation in the group.
Developing a sense of responsibility.

What you will need

One tambourine with cymbals.

Number of participants

From 3 to 10.

Basic option

The group sits in a circle. The presenter very carefully takes the tambourine and silently passes it to his neighbor. So the participants pass the “sleeping” tambourine around the circle, trying to do it as quietly as possible.

Notes

The presenter can encourage participants to follow the movement of the tambourine, and not just wait for their turn.
This game can be useful as a counterbalance to more noisy games.

Other options

The direction in which the tambourine is passed can be changed at any time.
You can use other musical instruments such as a maraca or any rattle.
You can stream two musical instruments at the same time.

  1. MUSICAL HOOPS

the main objective

Developing listening skills...

Additional goals

Increased reaction speed.
Encouraging cooperation in the group.

What you will need

Hoops, one for each participant. Portable synthesizer or music audio recording

Number of participants

From 3 to 10.

Basic option

The presenter lays out the hoops on the floor in a large room. As soon as the music starts, participants begin walking, dancing or jumping around hoops. As soon as the music stops, everyone finds a hoop and stands in it.

Notes

Participants should not stand in the hoop while the music is playing.
The presenter should extend the pause so that each participant has time to find a hoop before the music starts again.

Other options

You don’t have to place the hoops all over the room, but place them in its center.
Instead of hoops, you can use small rugs or rags.
The number of hoops can be equal to half the number of participants: there are two participants in each hoop.
If you place the hoops close to each other, each participant will be able to stand in two different hoops (or step on where they touch).
You can use three hoops of different colors, matching them with scarves (or patches) of the corresponding colors. While dancing, the participants wave their scarves, and when the music stops, everyone finds a hoop according to the color of their scarf.

TRAVEL BY TRAIN

the main objective

Pre-speech vocalization..

Additional goals

Development of cooperation in the group.
Controlled energy output

What you will need

One railway whistle...

Number of participants

From 4 to 10.

Basic option

The group sits in a circle. One of the participants has a whistle. The presenter begins the “train journey” by beating out the characteristic “thump-thump-thump” rhythm with his palms. The group joins him - at first at a slow pace and rhythmically, and then gradually speeding up the movement. When the train reaches maximum speed", the participant gives a signal with a whistle. The whistle means that the train should also gradually slow down and eventually stop

Notes

The slower the “train movement” begins, the more interesting it is
and this game is exciting.

Other options

If there is no whistle, the signal can be given by voice.
Participants can produce sound using more than just their palms,
and the movement of the palms on the knees.
You can add other sound effects. For example, imitate the sound of doors opening, braking, warning horn, etc.

  1. LISTEN AND RUN!

the main objective

Additional goals

Increased reaction speed.
Encouraging cooperation in the group.

What you will need

Several large percussion instruments, such as drums or cymbals, one at a time.

Number of participants

From 3 to 4.

Basic option

The presenter places the percussion instruments as far as possible from each other in different corners of the spacious room. When the music starts, each participant finds an instrument for himself and begins to play it. When silence sets in, all participants scatter and take places near the new instruments, waiting for the music to start playing again and for them to continue playing.

Notes

Before running away from the instrument, participants should leave their sticks near it.
When soft and loud pieces of music alternate, participants listen more attentively.

Other options

You can use smaller musical instruments by placing them on a table or chairs.
One of the participants can use a whistle to signal the group to exchange instruments.

  1. ROLL OVER AND SAY HELLO!

the main objective

Development of the ability to turn while lying down.

Additional goals

Encouraging social contacts.
Drawing attention to tactile sensations.

What you will need

A large mat or thick rug to lie on

Number of participants

From 4 to 10.

Basic option

Participants lie down on mats. Lying on their back, form a circle so that their hands are in the center. Everyone sings a song together (see below), and each participant rolls onto his side (or is helped to do so) and reaches out to his neighbor, who also turns towards him, and they greet each other with a touch. After this, everyone rolls over to the other side to “say hello” to another neighbor. Having finished the song, the participants change places, and the game continues with new partners.

Notes

In some groups, it is necessary to agree on the direction of each participant's turn before the game begins.
The leader may need to slow down or speed up the tempo of the song depending on how quickly the participants are able to greet each other.

Other options

Participants can turn to their neighbor and immediately touch his face, arms, and hands.
Participants can hold small musical instruments and, turning to a neighbor, greet him by playing the instrument.

  1. REPEAT MY DANCE!

the main objective

Developing the ability to observe and imitate.

Additional goals

Improved coordination of movements.
Study of different types of movement and dance.
Developing initiative and self-confidence.
Developing eye contact and the ability to concentrate.

What you will need

Portable synthesizer or music audio recording.

Number of participants

From 6 to 10.

Basic option

Participants dance freely to the music. The presenter observes the group for a few minutes and then stops the music. He invites everyone to dance, copying the dance of one of the participants. This participant shows his dance, and the group begins to dance, imitating his style. The leader then chooses a participant who dances in a different manner, and the group imitates again. The game continues until everyone has shown their dance.

Notes

The presenter can introduce the participants to this game by offering to copy his own dance to the music.
The facilitator may choose to show the group very simple movements (for example, shaking the head) or more complex ones (for example, consisting of three or four simple ones).

Other options

Participants can try certain types of movements: sharp, smooth, angular or "rounded". The accompaniment must be selected in accordance with the nature of the movements.
The facilitator may invite participants to imitate the movements of a swaying tree, a writhing snake, a flying bird, or an elephant making a trumpet sound.
Participants can try different movements in pairs

  1. CONCERT

the main objective

Formation of movement control.

Additional goals

Developing self-confidence.
Development of cooperation in the group.
Encouraging endurance

What you will need

Tambourine (with or without cymbals) for each participant except the driver. Portable synthesizer or music audio recording.

Number of participants

From 4 to 10..

Basic option

One participant is asked to be a soloist and stand in the center of the circle. The rest take diamonds. Music plays and everyone dances around the soloist, playing their instruments. All this time the soloist stands motionless. Suddenly the music stops, and the dancers freeze like statues, holding their instruments at arm's length in any position convenient for them. Then the soloist approaches everyone and plays all the instruments in turn.

Notes

The new soloist can be chosen by the previous one.
It is preferable for participants to move around the entire room, not just in a circle.

Other options

Two participants can be soloists at the same time.
Other small percussion instruments can be used.
The presenter can accompany the soloist, performing music of contrasting character.

  1. BEHIND THE SOUND BARRIER

the main objective

Development of the ability to coordinate auditory perception with motor activity.

Additional goals

Providing an opportunity to release energy.
Encouraging cooperation in the group.
Developing the ability to concentrate.
Formation of spatial representations.

What you will need

Plate on a stand.

Number of participants

From 4 to 6.

Basic option

The presenter places a chair against the wall of the hall. The group is located near the plate on the opposite wall. One participant is preparing to run, the other is preparing to hit the plate (once, loudly). At the moment of impact, the “runner” rushes to the chair, runs around it and returns to the group. Out of breath, he sits down and listens to the fading sound of the plate.

Notes

All participants should listen to the sound fade away without touching the cymbal.

Other options

You can use other instruments that have a sustained sound, such as a chord zither, metallophone or plate bells. On plate bells, the leader should select the lowest sound to increase the duration of the sound.
"Runner" can be given additional task: determine which of the two plate bells was hit with a stick.
The “runner” himself can hit the instrument before starting to run.

  1. RAINBOW

the main objective

Formation of movement control.

Additional goals

Development of cooperation in the group.
Improved color recognition and memory development.

What you will need

Small patches of yellow, red, blue and green colors - each approximately 20 cm2. Portable synthesizer or music audio recording.

Number of participants

From 4 to 10.

Basic option

Each participant chooses a yellow, red, blue or green patch and places it on their head. The presenter lays out rags of different colors in all corners of the room. When the music starts, everyone starts dancing, making sure that the rags don't fall off. When the music stops, the participants disperse to different corners of the room according to the color of the rags. Then the participants can exchange patches and continue the game.

Notes

The facilitator may need to remind participants what color their patches are.

Other options

Participants can balance while trying to keep the flaps on their arms, shoulders, hands, etc.
The presenter may invite participants to run or jump instead of dancing to provoke the need to balance the flaps.
Participants can dance in pairs.

LEAD THE HOST!

the main objective

Formation of movement control.

Additional goals

Increasing confidence when performing solo on musical instruments.
Developing the ability to concentrate.
Teaching the association of ideas and actions.
Increased reaction speed.

What you will need

Bells, a drum, a plate on a stand and several sticks. A table on which you can lay out musical instruments and sticks.

Number of participants

From 3 to 6.

Basic option

The presenter places the musical instruments on the table close to each other - so that the bells and sticks are easy to reach. He then explains to the participants that each instrument has a movement associated with it. For example, shaking your head is associated with bells, raising your arms with a plate, jumping with
with a drum. One of the participants plays all the instruments in turn, and the leader, standing or sitting opposite, performs the appropriate movements. The game then continues with another participant.

Notes

It may be helpful to experiment with different moves before you start playing. See, for example, “Repeat my dance!”

Other options

One of the participants can perform the movements, and the whole group can play the instruments.
The whole group can perform the movements, but one participant can play the instruments.
You can use different tools and movements.
Three participants can play, each on their own instrument.

  1. WALKING CHAIRS

the main objective

Development of the ability to coordinate movements with the listening process.

Additional goals

Increased reaction speed.
Encouraging cooperation in the group.

What you will need

Several durable but lightweight chairs, one for each participant. Portable synthesizer or music audio recording...

Number of participants

From 3 to 4.

Basic option

Participants sit in a row of chairs in a large spare room. When the music starts, participants begin to move forward, holding onto the seat of their chair with both hands. When the music stops, they stop and sit down.

Notes

Participants should listen to the music and begin to move quickly or slowly depending on the tempo of the music.
Participants should be careful not to collide or get so close to each other that they interfere with their neighbors' movement.

Other options

Each time the music stops, the presenter can give brief instructions to the participants on how to move: back, to the side, etc.
Participants can also exchange chairs, walk around chairs, stand on them, etc.

MIRROR REFLECTION

the main objective

Improving movement control.

Additional goals

Developing the ability to concentrate.
Development of imagination.
Developing observation skills.

What you will need

Two maracas. Portable synthesizer or music audio recording.

Number of participants

From 4 to 10.

Basic option

Two participants stand facing each other, each holding his maraca - one in his left and the other in his right hand. The others watch them and listen. The soloists decide which of them will be the leader in the pair. When the music starts, the lead soloist makes a maraca movement, and his partner tries to repeat the movement exactly. The music stops and the soloists stop. When the music starts again, they continue the game, switching roles, or two other participants take their place.

Notes

You may need to help the leader of the pair start with slow movements.
It is worth saying that no matter what movements the soloists make, they must see each other all the time.
Since the maraca is a fairly fragile instrument, it is reasonable that the rules of the game include a prohibition against touching anything with the instrument.

Other options

You can use other small instruments, such as a tambourine with cymbals or castanets.
One participant can stand in front of the group, which will repeat his movements.
You can try different styles of dance music.

  1. "GLUED" LEG

the main objective

Formation of movement control.

Additional goals

Development of cooperation in the group.
Increased confidence in leadership roles.

What you will need

Small colorful patches, each approximately
20 cm2, one for each participant. A portable synthesizer or audio recording of musical fragments of different styles.

Number of participants

From 4 to 10.

Basic option

Each participant chooses a piece of paper and a place for it on the floor. By placing one leg on the flap, the participant seems to glue it to the floor. Music sounds, and everyone dances in a free manner, without, however, lifting their “glued” leg from the floor. The leader watches the dancers and invites one of them to dance for the whole group, so that the group imitates his style. The game continues and the participants perform different dances.

Notes

The facilitator may have to remind participants about their “glued” leg.
When the music stops, participants should remain seated and remain quiet.

Other options

You can “glue” different parts of the body to the floor, for example, knees or palms.
If the size of the room allows, you can use hoops instead of rags. Participants can “glue” to the hoop from the side or stand inside it.
A successful continuation of this game could be the game “Create your own dance!”

Development of auditory perception.

WHAT'S THAT NOISE.

MATERIAL: audio recording with a variety of noises, for example, a telephone ringing, the hiss of a boiling kettle, the sound of breaking glass, the sound of water pouring from a tap, the sound of chalk being written on a blackboard, etc.

The presenter shows the noise to the children, they must guess it. If noises are voiced or using improvised means, you can arrange a competition to see who can reproduce them more accurately and guess.

WELL, LISTEN!

GOAL: development of auditory perception.

One of the players goes behind the screen and, using the objects located there, makes some kind of sound: throws objects on the floor, hits an object, rubs one object against another, etc. The rest of the players must determine with what objects he made the sound. If the item is indicated correctly, the player comes out from behind the screen and makes the same sound in front of everyone, and the one who guessed it becomes the leader.

WHAT DO WE PLAY?

GOAL: development of auditory perception.

MATERIAL: a set of “sounding” objects: bell, tambourine, metronome, rattle, whistle, wooden and metal spoons, etc.

For the first game, a set of the simplest sounds that are well known to children is used. When the game is subsequently played, it is necessary to add the sounds of new objects, and children should first be introduced to each new sound.

From among the players, a driver is chosen, who stands with his back to the players at a distance of two to three meters. Several players (three to four), at the leader’s signal, come closer to him with the words “What are we playing?” start making sounds. The driver must determine what objects make the sounds. If he guessed correctly, he can go to the group of players, and the players choose a new driver. If not, then he continues to drive until he gives the correct answer.

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS.

GOAL: development of auditory perception.

MATERIAL: audio recording of musical instruments, or the musical instruments themselves. Pictures of them. The name of the instrument is written on each picture.

Children are given the opportunity to listen to a musical excerpt performed by one of the musical instruments, guess which one they heard, and show it in the picture.

If the instruments are quite familiar to the children (they have heard them many times), then you can play another, slightly humorous version of the game. One player voices (in his own voice) what he has in mind musical instrument, and others guess it. Then the players change roles and the game continues.

RECOGNIZE A SONG BY SEVERAL SOUNDS.

GOAL: development of auditory perception.

The presenter turns on the tape recorder with the most popular songs and turns it off after three to five seconds. Children must name the piece. If it is not guessed, the tape recorder turns on again for a few seconds.

NOISING BOXES.

GOAL: development of auditory perception.

MATERIAL: 10 - 12 Kinder Surprise boxes filled with various loose, rattling, knocking and rustling materials, for example, peas, buckwheat, river sand, beans, small pebbles, etc.

Participants in the game must find two identical sounding boxes among all the boxes. The main principle of filling boxes is that the material in paired boxes should not only be identical, but also approximately the same in weight and quantity, only then will they sound the same.

IDENTIFY BY SOUND.

GOAL: development of auditory perception.

MATERIAL: 3 – 5 glasses or some other container into which water is poured. The water level in each container is different: a quarter, half, more than half, full (or simply empty, without water).

The adult – the organizer of the game – knocks on the containers several times, demonstrating how each of them sounds. Then a driver is selected - a child who turns away, and an adult or one of the children at this time knocks on one container or another. The child must determine which container was knocked on. If the answer is correct, the driver changes and the game continues. The one who gives the most correct answers in the game wins.

BIRDKEEPERS.

GOAL: development of auditory perception.

Each player chooses the role of a bird whose cry he can imitate. The bird catcher stands in the center of the playing area, blindfolded, and the players circle around him and chant in unison:

In the forest in the little forest,

On a green oak tree

The birds are singing merrily.

Ay! The bird catcher is coming!

He will take us into captivity!

Birds, fly away!

Birds scatter around the site. The bird catcher claps his hands - the birds freeze in their places, and he begins (blindfolded) to look for them. As soon as the birder touches a bird, it emits its characteristic cry. The birder must guess the name of the bird and the name of the player. If he guessed right, the person recognized becomes a bird catcher; if not, the game is repeated with the same bird catcher.

GUESS WHO I'LL CALL.

GOAL: development of auditory perception.

The teacher invites those children whose names consist of the same number of syllables to stand up, equal to the number of claps he makes.

For example, the teacher claps three times, the children count (to themselves) the number of claps, after which Se-re-zha, Ma-ri-na, Ok-sa-na should stand up. Ta-ma-ra and others

WHAT IS PLANTED IN THE GARDEN.

GOAL: development of attention, mental operation of concretization.

An adult asks the children:

  1. Do you know what is planted in the garden? Let's play this game: I will name different objects, and you listen carefully - if I name something that is planted in the garden, you sing “do”, and if something that does not grow in the garden, you sing “mi”. Whoever makes a mistake loses. Carrots, beets, plums...

The games “Let’s set the table for guests”, “Let’s plant a garden”, “Clothes”, etc. can be built using the same principle.
