At this stage, the Born to Win faced a confrontation with Team Liquid. In order to determine the winner, according to the tournament regulations, the opponents had to play only one game, so no one had the right to make a mistake.
Taking this into account, Na’Vi decided not to take risks and play according to long-proven tactics. Dendi took control of the character Queen of Pain, and Nature's Prophet took control of the carry position in the hands of Ditya Ra.
The Ukrainians' rivals, in turn, chose a rather risky game model, in which at first it is necessary to farm as much as possible and avoid clashes with rivals.
Our team started the match very competently and did what was required of them - they tried to attack the opponent as often as possible. Gradually, the Born to Win came out ahead in both the amount of experience and the amount of gold.
However, several fatal mistakes at crucial moments meant that Team Liquid managed to turn the game on its head. After a stunning loss on both sides, Na'Vi were unable to return to the game, ending their run in Seattle.
Alas, the dreams of the Born to Win to play in the finals were dashed long before this stage.

We got to the NaVi tournament by invitation. In the group stage, the team lost to Fnatic, drew with LGD Gaming and won all other matches. She took first place and advanced to the upper bracket. In the first match, NaVi beat Orange with a score of 2:1, and their next opponent was TongFu.

NaVi started the tournament poorly - first they lost to Invictus Gaming, then they tied with Complexity Gaming and EHOME. But at the end of the group stage, the team ended up in fourth place and still made it to the playoffs. There he beat Team DK and Invictus Gaming. On the second map of the confrontation between NaVi and iG, a moment occurred that the English-speaking public simply calls The Play.
The Chinese took the combination of Naga Siren and Dark Seer, which was popular at the tournament. The second half of the 2013-2014 season turned out to be difficult for NaVi. In three months, they competed in six tournaments, but did not place in the top 4 in four. She took second place at the HyperX D2L Western Challenge and fourth at The Summit.
In the group stage of The International 2014, the organizers placed all teams in one group, in which each played each other. The two best teams advanced to the playoffs, and the teams in places 2 to 10 advanced to the next stage. As a result, two squads left the tournament, and the remaining six went to the upper or lower part of the playoffs, depending on the result in this stage.
Natus Vincere ended up in 5th-6th place with a score of 8:7, then lost Newbee and got into the lower bracket of the playoffs. There the Puppey line-up met with Cloud9, in which he was still performing Jackie EternaLEnVy Mao. NaVi lost with a score of 1:2 and left the championship in 7th-8th place. Natus Vincere spent the 2014-2015 season poorly. Constant replacements, search for a new leader, poor performances at tournaments, a strange story with Alexander DkPhobos Kucherei, who played for the team for only a month, and then returned to ASUS.Polar. For the first time, the squad did not receive an invitation to The International, but managed to pass the European qualifications. In the group, the team lost four matches and drew three, finishing in last place. Her opponent in the lower bracket was Vici Gaming. The Chinese were much stronger at that time and took second place in Dota 2 Asia Championships, and i-League Season 3, won StarLadder StarSeries Season 12. But something went wrong in their group, and they ended up in the lower bracket. NaVi picked Anti-Mage and Io, gave XBOCT a good start, and things weren't so bad in the mid lane.

Group A featured the Ukrainian team Natus Vincere, which did not show decent results and was forced to go down to the “losers” bracket in the playoffs. The winners of the group were the European team OG, which did not allow a single defeat. In the parallel group, the championship was won by the Chinese EHOME, which entered the tournament at the last moment through the wild card qualification.
For fans from Ukraine, the playoffs did not bring anything good. After a disastrous group stage, Na’Vi were eliminated in the first elimination game by Team Liquid, taking 13-16th place. “Born to Win” started the first part of the match very well, but several decisive mistakes prevented them from advancing further, and as a result, they were eliminated.
The sensation of the playoffs was the early loss of one of the tournament favorites – OG. The Europeans managed to lose to a team from the Asian region, which qualified for The International through open qualifiers.
The broadcast of the grand final of The International 2016 was watched by about 5.5 million people. The fight was broadcast on more than 110 channels. A year later, a new record was set for the number of viewers; in 2015, about 4.5 million people watched it, and the prize fund broke the record and amounted to $20,770,460.
