Organizer for board games with your hands. Organizers for board games! GAMEFIT. What will it take?

Suburbia

Yesterday the organizer for Suburbia arrived. I assembled it from the photo, everything is intuitive, I only had to tinker with the lower part of the compartments for the hexagonal tiles. Final result exceeded all expectations! I really liked the “customizable” tile dividers and the notches for the rectangular tablets. Eh, if only there were the same recesses for triangular fields :)) The first experience did not disappoint, I think I will order more.

Conquest of Mars

Apparently, as volumes increase, quality begins to suffer. If I had no comments about the previous Game-Fit organizers, then the organizer for the Conquest of Mars is no longer so good.
Firstly, the compartments for cards are too small: cards fit into the protectors with great difficulty, like sardines in a barrel, and even then only on the condition that you do not use a divider. It is very inconvenient to remove and place cards in such cramped compartments.
Secondly, the organizer sticks out a couple of millimeters from the box - in the corner where there are a lot of small boxes.
Thirdly, the closed box is difficult to close and falls apart during the closing process, despite the use of glue. Apparently, it needs to be completely glued together, or the lid needs to be filed down.
Fourthly, the organizer cannot be assembled without a hammer, because... otherwise the projections will not fit into the grooves.
Fifthly, the surfaces of the “boards” are “terry” in places.
Well, sixthly, the players’ tablets are designed to fit a slightly smaller paper tablet, so the paper tablets in them, if not trimmed, go in waves.
In general, I regretted that I bought this organizer, because... I don’t like “bummer” products.

I completely agree, except for the “box,” when I opened it, it seemed to be holding tightly. And the cards are generally a mess. I don’t know where to put the expansion cards now?????
I asked Artem this question in the group. To which, he said that he believes that this game does not need protectors in principle. Next time, I won’t rush to buy an organizer.

Upgrade is this thing?
"Improving the organizer 450 RUR"

In general, there are no complaints about the organizer. The only thing is that when I took out these five sheets of plywood without instructions (I was doing assembly for the first time), I was confused. What should I put there, where? I spent three evenings fiddling around for an hour, putting it together) In some places I had to use a hammer.
And I still don’t understand the purpose of some compartments.
Instructions for the organizer. How to assemble and what this or that block is used for.

Nothing comes out, the lid closes perfectly, the box does the same, the surfaces were smooth everywhere. The fact that the player’s tablets are larger is only the case in the second edition, but the organizer was made for the first edition. I read about tablets in the Lavka group and just cut them right away so that they would fit properly. And the fact that there was almost no need to glue, everything was assembled with the help of a hammer, on the contrary, I liked it better, I don’t like fiddling with glue. Yes, there is not enough space for cards; the addition will fit in with difficulty.

An upgrade is an additional cost, +30% to the price, the price of the organizer for those who bought a low-quality product becomes 1950 rubles. For 2300 rub. You can already buy the GameBoxAdvanced premium organizer, which contains not only base and add-on cards, but also cards of all add-ons.

but now everything is like this:

new version of the organizer for 1590 (where everything fits)
new version with plywood tablets for 2290 (where everything fits)
improvement for OLD version for 450rub

You don’t need to buy an organizer or upgrade specifically now. So there's a bit of arithmetic wrong here.

Don't pretend you don't understand anything. I’m not complaining about the fact that your organizer doesn’t fit an add-on, but about the fact that your organizer of the first version doesn’t fit BASE cards in the protectors. An upgrade is, of course, better than throwing your organizer in the trash and buying a new one, but it increases the cost of the organizer (for those who BOUGHT IT EARLIER on the boomstarter) by 30% - i.e. This is fixing your jamb at the expense of buyers. There are 750 rubles in your organizer. - these are tablets and 750 rubles. - boxes for components. You resell a little more than half of the component boxes for 450 rubles. And at the same time, you think that you are doing everything perfectly, and there is nothing to complain about.

I’m not making any claims, but still, before buying such a thing as a gaming device/organizer, watch a video of how everything fits there, imagine how you will use it, ask the manufacturer questions about anything you doubt. This will save time and money, for example, for myself, I came to the conclusion that the organizer would not be convenient for me, but the plywood tablets that completely replace gaming tablets are quite good and ordered them with extras.

Good afternoon.
Everything is fine)

1) yes, there is such a problem with thick protectors. In the improved version everything has changed.
2) If suddenly you haven’t pulled out the inlay, although it fits with it, if you have the opportunity, please send a photo.
3) with this box everything is not clear, for some it works as it should, for others not so much. I assume that the problem is a slight curvature of the plywood. In general, such things should be glued. We cannot guarantee assembly without glue.
4) Yes, that’s what it’s designed for. Glue and a little hammer)
5) can you be more specific?
6) Yes, the problem is that the factory slightly changed the size, although they promised an exact copy.

Write to us and we will come up with something!

Cavern and Terra Mystic

First order. I had never dealt with plywood until now and had a general idea of the process (wood is wood with all that it entails: burrs, chips, sawdust, etc.).
I paid for the order, everything was done promptly and sent.
DEPARTURE 1. There is no feedback about the cost of shipment, you only choose the method. 2. Packed... well, probably only spare parts made from adamantium are sent to Wolverine. The empty space in the box is filled with a modest amount of crumpled newspaper. 3. The organizer itself is packed in cellophane film. During the journey (Business lines), the box was deformed, the film on the Terra Mystic was torn.4. There are NO assembly diagrams (“they finished it with a file!”). At the request, the Contractor sent only a diagram to Kaverna.
ASSEMBLY. I'm lucky in life. This also affected the first build. The first was Terra Mystic. Shocked. Everything falls out of the plywood sheet without burrs - I fastened the grooves by hand and it’s done. The lack of a diagram did not affect the assembly. Intuitively clear, but without a diagram for the female gender - ADJ.
I'm not only lucky in life. The Cavern assembly is an example of this. The workmanship is twice as bad (either the plywood is bad, or the patterns...). The blanks break out with a bang (naturally). You can’t fasten anything with your hands - only by tapping with a hammer (hello, neighbors! “Morning Woodpecker” is on the air!). The bottoms of the boxes are curved (slightly, but essential for assembly according to the theory of strength of materials).
RESULT: I collected everything, but the difference for one Performer is significant. I'll think hard about another organizer. On the plus side, the site has been created - it’s more convenient to use VKontakte, you can also fill it with diagrams.)

Organizers are very useful, and in some cases necessary, accessories. They are appropriate in any game where there are many different elements, components and additions. Igonizers not only help you sort the elements, but also reduce the time it takes to prepare for the game. If you've played , or Pathfinder, then you're familiar with wasting time on preparation. playing field. Fans and connoisseurs of desktop computers managed to overcome this problem and began to create organizers. You can buy them in online stores or make them yourself. There are many educational videos on the Internet that will help you create an accessory for your favorite game.

Recently, we decided to create our own igronizer for the board game “Royal Mail” and show you the creation process. Anyone can create such an organizer for their favorite game, decorate it and improve it to suit themselves. This is a small organizer that will allow you to sort base game and additions.

What you will need for this:

  1. Idea. You need to understand what you want, how many sections there will be, and what they are needed for. There are several levels of gamers, investing in each other - it all depends on the components of the game. Advice! Play a game - you will immediately sort out the unnecessary elements, for example, if there are two of you playing, and in the game there are chips for four, then you should sort them in advance and make different compartments, and so on.
  2. Material. Organizers are made from virtually everything from wood to foam board. Of course, the heavier the material used, the more difficult it is to work with. The choice is yours. In this case, foam board was chosen.
  3. Tools. A stationery knife (scissors if the cardboard is very thin), a ruler, a pencil, wood glue (craft glue will not work).

The process of creating an organizer for a board game

  1. We decide on the size of the organizer: height, width, length. To do this, we first put in the box with the game all the elements (memos, playing field, game rules, etc.) that will come with the game player and only then measure the height.
  2. We decide on the compartments and sizes. To do this, put all the elements of the game on cardboard and draw the borders with a pencil.
  3. Carefully measure and cut.
  4. We glue the sides, they should touch.
  5. Leave to dry.
  6. Fill it up and enjoy.

Each time new ideas will arise and mistakes will be corrected (I will definitely correct my mistakes and next time I will do it more carefully and arrange the sections differently). The first damn thing is lumpy.

With your permission, I’ll show off another new craft – a game organizer 7 Wonders and everyone who came to this moment additions.

After adding the last addition Babel in the box there was a terrible dump of many bags with cards and tokens. It got to the point where, due to lengthy fiddling with the components, the game became lazy to put together. Foam board came to the rescue again.

It all took a couple of leisurely evenings and a sheet of foam board measuring 50 by 70 cm, which cost me about 4 EUR.

This organizer from “The broken token” was taken as a basis:

It seemed to me the most optimal and convenient. True, for such an arrangement of components it was necessary to slightly “raise” the box itself - according to the height of the tower tiles. But the result is worth it.

Cards are also now stored vertically. It is their width that is worth starting from when working. A single partition will separate the cards and tiles from the tablets and other boxes. Having determined the maximum available space, you can make them according to your own discretion and taste.

Player boards and truce tokens were hidden under the boxes. I glued them together with the same PVA. Well, there’s enough space, and their “legs” kept falling off.

As for the boxes for Babylon tokens and coins, they are 3.5 cm high. But there were too many war tokens, and the tray had to be made to the very bottom (6 cm). But that’s a good thing, now he holds the tablets so they don’t dangle.

As I already said, when planning organizers, I am guided mainly by ease of use. Many inserts that are found on the Internet look amazing and sophisticated, but in reality they add even more fuss. Yes, it’s much more pleasant to rummage through such organizers than in bags, but the problem of comfortable preparation remains unresolved.

That is why for the most popular tokens (coins, war and fines) I made small boxes with one or two compartments. You don’t have to tinker with them – just dump out the contents and you’re done! But for the rest, you can make the container prettier and lower, so that you can proudly put it on the table and, as the game progresses, you can get everything you need from there without any problems.

Heh, while I was making all this, I completely forgot about the field for the tower tiles. For him, the internal partition should have been made half a centimeter lower. In principle, this doesn’t bother me, but you always need to strive for the ideal, so keep it in mind.

I am sure that Babylon is not the last addition to Miracles. It seems that initially they promised seven of them. So why do all this then? It’s just that in light of the announcement of the independent dueling toy 7 Wonders: Duel from the same author, I believe that we won’t see the next add-on anytime soon. So you can enjoy the order in the box for a while. Thank you for your attention, I hope someone finds this note useful. Cut, glue, dare!

The organizer can easily accommodate the entire Evolution gaming set. There will also be room in it for the next addition to “Evolution” - “Flight”, which we may publish in the near future!

We made the organizer exactly in the shape of the game box. It stays in it evenly and very tightly. Sections for cards, tablets and tokens are designed for the Evolution gaming set. The card slots are made with a small margin, in case you decide to put the cards in covers.

Three-section compartment with tokens - removable! During the game, remove it from the organizer and place it on the table. You don't have to worry about where to put your tokens! It takes up minimal space on the gaming table. The section for food tokens is sloped to make them easy to collect.

Inside the organizer, the three-section compartment is closed with a separate lid so that the tokens do not fall apart when carried. And from above - attention! — fits a stunning “Waterhole” stand.

"Waterhole." During the game, plant food tokens are placed at the watering hole, which serves as food for all herbivores. Here, players place cards face down, which will later determine how much food will be added (and sometimes decreased) in this round.

So, we made a beautiful tablet stand that adds banks to the watering hole. It runs exactly along the contours of the playing field, without covering anything unnecessary and creating an unparalleled gaming atmosphere!

It’s more convenient to play with the “Waterhole” stand. Cards can be placed on the “banks” of the stand, rather than on the tokens. The tokens themselves will no longer scatter, even if you wave your sleeve unsuccessfully, since three-stage (!) “shores” pass from all sides.

Thus, the “Waterhole” stand serves for atmosphere, for convenience during the game and as a closing lid for the organizer. Three in one!

Assembly: The organizer and stand “Waterhole” come to you disassembled. The assembly is easy, but with the “Waterhole” you will need to act carefully, there are a couple of tricky moments. Of course, we will provide you with detailed instructions! You will need to assemble and glue both the organizer and the stand (it is also advisable to carefully glue the “Waterhole” field inside). The gluing process is a little simpler than elementary. The most common PVA glue will do; it is sold in any office supply store!
