Walkthrough of Anub Ryokan Heroic. Hearthstone Walkthrough: Curse of Naxxramas. Heroism in the Spider Quarter

Heroic Adventure Mode Curse of Naxxramas is a game mode for those players who have nerves of steel and are not afraid of a challenge. Below we will tell you the secrets of the passage, and also describe the tactics of the game against each of the three bosses of the first dungeon - the Spider Quarter. However, keep in mind that even if you follow the tips below, we cannot guarantee you victory. But with the addition of a little luck and a little patience, winning Heroic mode won't be such an impossible task.

Anub'rekan

Anub'rekan is the first boss of the Curse of Naxxramas adventure, but is by no means the weakest. You can see this for yourself if you start playing against him in heroic mode. In addition to a significant increase in health (Anub'rekan has as much as 45 units), his hero power - Spider Whisper - has also increased. This ability also allows the boss to summon nerubians to the battlefield for 2 mana crystals, but now their attack and health indicators are 4, and not 2/1, as in normal mode. The deck for the first boss of the Spider Quarter remains the same.

Strategy for playing against Anub'rekan on Heroic difficulty

Anub'rekan's playstyle will be as follows: he will try to put as many non-weak creatures on the battlefield as possible. And the power of his hero will help him a lot in this. So you should include in your deck as many strong removal spells as possible and those creatures that could be used advantageously to make trades with your opponent’s minions. As you probably already understood, our style of play will be total control of the table - a class like Druid can cope with this task very well. You can also try to build a control deck for a Mage, Warrior or Paladin, but it will still be much easier to win with a class like Druid.

At the initial stages of the game, you will most likely see such a creature as the Lord of Death on Anub’rekan’s side, which can be very difficult to deal with on the third or fourth moves. However, if a Rushing Kodo comes under it (especially with Insight), then it will be just wonderful! But, as practice shows, you usually have to give a large number of your creatures and spells to the Lord of Death. By the way, the Black Knight is another card with which you can painlessly deal with the Lord of Death.

Great Widow Farlina

In heroic mode, Farlina's health, like Anub'rekan's, increases to 45 units. In addition, her hero power Rain of Fire has become cheaper, allowing her to deal a certain amount of damage (depending on the number of cards in your hand) randomly distributed among all enemy characters. But that's not all. One of her unique cards, Admirer, is being strengthened. It's now a 2/4 minion that gives +3 to Farlina's attack every turn as long as the Devotee is on the board.

Farlina's Heroic Deck

  • Abusive Sergeant x2
  • Gravedigger x2
  • Rampage x2
  • Inner Rage x2
  • Servant of Pain x2
  • Cult head x1
  • Nerubian egg x2
  • Battle Fury x2
  • Necroknight x2
  • Death horse x2
  • Dancing Blades x2
  • Dark cultist x2
  • Hellfire x2
  • Admirer x5

Strategy for playing against the Great Widow on Heroic mode

There are several winning tactics for playing against Farlina. You can use the same Druid deck that we offered you against Anub'rekan and keep the same style of play: close behind the provocateurs and make profitable trades. With one small but: you should try to play as much as possible more cards, in order to reduce the effect of Fire Shower. So, given the choice between playing one expensive card or several cheap ones, you should always choose the latter when playing against the Great Widow.

Another good option would be to use a deck that includes a large number of cheap creatures. So, the Zoo Warlock deck is perfect in this situation - the Soul Burn card will do a great job with the Devotee (in the early stage of the game he can cause you a lot of problems). Then you will need to adhere to a different tactic - inflict as much damage on Farlina as possible, while ignoring her creatures. The only exception is the Admirer. But this strategy is not as reliable as the previous one, since a lot here will depend on luck and on the quality of your cards in your hand.

Below we will provide you with a choice of several decks, playing with which you can hope to defeat Farlina.

Mexna

Mexna is the final boss of the Spider Quarter. In heroic mode, Meksna was not left deprived, and she, like everyone else, received 45 health units. In addition, her Cocoon hero power was also strengthened - now this ability is free and returns two random enemy creatures to his hand.

Mexna's Heroic Deck

  • Leader of Dire Wolves x2
  • Nerub Strangler x2
  • Imperial Cobra x2
  • Acid Slug x2
  • Slime Belcher x2
  • Necrotic poison x2
  • Nerubian egg x2
  • Tenetnik x2
  • Stone gargoyle x2
  • Possessed Crawler x6
  • Sea giant x2
  • Shadow of Naxxramas x2
  • Phantom Knight x2

Strategy for playing against Mexna on Heroic mode

The tactics and strategies for playing against this boss is to use Meksna's hero power against herself. Thus, absolutely every creature in your deck should have the ability battle cry or jerk.

There are 2 methods of passing Mexna. The first is an interesting one: it consists of letting Mexna flood the entire board with creatures with attack 1 or less (Nerubian Egg), and, while healing each turn, deal damage to the opponent’s hero with creatures with the ability jerk. The Paladin class is great for this task. So, for example, if the boss’s entire table is littered with minions with a small attack, the damage dealt to you will not exceed 6 - 7 units. Which you, in turn, can compensate by playing Defender of Kings every turn. It is also advisable to deal damage, so the Arcane Golem will be great with it. This way, you will fully compensate for all damage dealt to you and deal four points of damage to Mexna every turn.

There are two difficulties in the above strategy. The first and foremost thing is to let Mexna play all creatures with 1 attack or less. If she plays creatures with a high attack rate, then in this case you should have the Humility spell in stock, which will turn even the formidable Sea Giant into a 1/8 creature. However, the monster's deck contains cards such as Spectral Knight and Dire Wolf Leader, against which Humility will be useless. You will have to deal with them by spending some of your creatures with the dash ability or Silver Blade charge.

The second difficulty appears after the situation you were aiming for: let Mexna flood the entire table with creatures with attack 1 or less. As you play Guardian of Kings + Arcane Golem every turn, don't forget to count the cards. If, in your calculations, one or more of your next cards may burn, then it is better to play some other combination - so, by playing Light of the Heavens + Arcane Golem + Stonetusk Boar + Seal of Kings, you will also restore 6 health units, but deal 11 points of damage and free up space in your hand for two more cards.

Another tactic for playing against Mexna is to destroy all of her creatures, and then play as many of your creatures as possible to deal as much damage to her as possible. A class like Priest is best suited here. Include cards like Elven Archer, Light Nova, and Dark Madness in your deck. Also take a large number of spells that restore your health - Sacred fire in addition to healing, it will also cause 5 units of damage, and the Voodoo Witch Doctor will restore 2 units of health to you every turn for just 1 mana.

Playing this way, in any case, you will have to carefully count the cards: so, having stolen the Possessed Crawler from your opponent and smashed it, 2 spiders will most likely go into your hand in the next turn, and this is +2 cards.

If you are an amateur Hearthstone games, sooner or later you will want to get legendary cards. You can buy them, or you can choose not to spend real money. To do this, you will have to complete daily missions and receive in-game gold. You can already use it to participate in adventure mode. One of them is “Naxxramas” - heroic mode, the passage of which can be completed or left alone. This is an additional part that appears immediately after the full normal mode.

Normal mode

Before we talk about the passage of “Naxxramas” in Hearthstone, the heroic mode of which interests you, it is worth paying attention to the usual one, since without it it is impossible to get everything heroic awards. The normal mode is called Curse of Naxxramas. It was released for Hearthstone back in the summer of 2014. It consists of five gloomy and mysterious quarters in which you will have to fight terrifying bosses.

The reward for completing the game in normal mode will be 30 new cards. Moreover, do not immediately think that these will be mystical and legendary. There can be both neutral and class ones. By completing tasks, you will receive cards that are not in boosters and cannot be crafted from dust. They also cannot be sprayed.

Quarters and bosses

The first dark stop is the Spider Quarter. Here you will have to face the characters:

  • Anub'Rekan.
  • Widow Farlina.
  • Mexnoy.

Upon completion of this quarter, the legendary Meksna will appear in your collection.

You won't be greeted hospitably in the Plague Quarter, and you'll have to defeat a couple of villains:

  • Plague note.
  • Hagan the Unholy.
  • Lothiba.

They will reward you with a Stone Gargoyle, an Unstable Ghoul, and a Slime Belcher. And a new legendary card is added to the collection - Lothib.

Military Quarter has also prepared some challenges for you. There will be villains on your way, and if you defeat them, you will be able to get a good reward:

  • Instructor Razuvius.
  • Gothic Reaper.
  • Baron Rivender.

At the end of this quarter you receive gold card Baron Rivender.

The quarter of abomination turned out to be populated by enemies. Here, instead of the usual three, you will be met by four thugs. For them you will also receive rare neutral cards.

  • Patchwork.
  • Grobbulus.
  • Glut.
  • Thaddius.

Due to the fact that there are more bosses in this quarter, you will get two legendaries: Stalagga and Feugen.

The last quarter is the most furious. Despite the fact that there are only two bosses - Sapphiron and Kel'Thuzad, you will still have to work hard. But for them you will receive two mystical cards: Fission Ooze and Shadow of Naxxramas. And as a reward you will receive the legendary Kel'Thuzad.

So, now we know what Naxxramas has prepared for us: a heroic mode that will not be difficult for you to complete, especially when you have already defeated everyone. But there are some details you need to know.

Heroic mode and its gift

Of course, first of all, you want to know what you get for completing the heroic mode of Naxxramas. Neither more nor less - new shirt for cards. Many consider this an unjustified and too simple gift. But it’s worth considering that in heroic mode you encounter the same bosses that you already knew about: all their strengths and weaknesses are clear to you, and the mechanism for dealing with them has already been found.

Of course, they get slightly improved abilities and their deck becomes stronger. However, even clearing Heroic Naxxramas with a basic deck can be successful for you. Now, in order, about each quarter in the new mode.

Heroism in the Spider Quarter

To defeat Anub'Rekan, you will need cards that will quickly clear the board: large creatures and taunts. With the help of spells you can buff them and exchange them. The best way to beat this boss is considered to be a Druid.

Widow Farlina can be defeated by the Gurubashi Erserker. At the same time, your game should be as fast and error-free as possible. The second option for defeating this boss is the basic Warrior.

To defeat Mexna, a regular deck for completing Naxxramas on heroic mode will not be suitable. Here, the main heroes should be cards with a dash and a battle cry, so it is better to go into battle with Palladin. The essence of the game is that you allow the boss to have a full board, select characters with a dash and use the Ancient Healer.

Heroism in the Plague Quarter

You cannot use weak creatures against Not the Plague, and it is advisable to heal all your cards in time. Therefore, as you guessed, Priest is the best choice.

But against Hagan, the Nerubian Egg and Gurubashi Berserk cards you have already won will be perfect. The main task is to prevent strong cards from reaching the leftmost position of the table. Hagan's ability is 3 units of damage to a creature located exactly on the left edge. The Priest is also perfect for passing.

To defeat Lotheeb, you just need to spam the table. It's better if your deck has Elven Archer and Stonetusk Boar. Will stand up well against Lothiba Shaman.

Heroism in the Military Quarter

To defeat Instructor Rezuvius you need more taunts and healing. Your best bet is Acidic Ooze in a Shaman deck.

The Gothic Reaper can be dealt with gradually. You won't be able to rush here, the only option is total control of the table. We use the Defender of Argus, the Priest of Sin'dorai, the Hero of Stormwind and various buffs. The Druid will help you.

For Baron Rivendare you need to store a taunt and an Acid Slug in

Heroism in the Quarter of Abomination

A Mage with taunts and slugs can defeat the vile Patchwork. Grobbulus can be destroyed by the Priest. You just need to exchange and heal your creatures. Palladin and slugs are suitable for Gluth to cope with the villain's weapons. But Thaddius will have to be fought by the Warlock with his Corruption, Dark Arrow and Soul Burn.

Heroism in Lair of the Frostwyrm

So, we have already gone through a lot and got to the main villains. We have felt the power and know who Naxxramas is. Heroic Mode - Lair Walkthrough ice snake- ends our adventure. We need to defeat Sapphiron using a cunning method. There should be no cards in the deck for draw, except for the Vash'ir Oracle, let's also take Dancing Blades. Now all that remains is to stock up on good healing and control for the Mage.

But our final boss Kel'Thuzad is very difficult to beat. All his abilities are insidious and imbalanced. However, it is better to take a Palladin or Shaman, spam the board and hope for luck.

If you do everything correctly, then “Naxxramas” will simply submit to you. The heroic mode, the completion of which is not mandatory, will still give you a lot of interesting and exciting games with strong villains. You will also become the proud owner of a card back, which not many people have and will testify to your courage and strength.

How to play as a hunter is written in the walkthrough of the first quarter. The only one who could strengthen standard deck, - “Mental Technician”. If your opponent has 4 or more creatures, he will lure one of them to your side.

The ideal starting hand is: Mental Technician, Frost Trap, Let the Dogs Go. If one of these cards does not arrive on time, defeat is assured. The difficulty is that at the beginning, Hagan has a demon with 3/4 parameters on his table. His ability allows you to deal 3 damage instead of 2 and costs nothing. Therefore, on the second turn you need to force the opponent to return the creature to his hand, and then try to gain a foothold on the table.

Deck:

Lotheeb

Hero Power "Dead Aura" (0 mana): Deals 3 damage to the enemy hero.

In the battle against Lothib the priest - the best choice. The deck should consist primarily of cards that restore the hero’s health. The most important thing is to win the early game and put a couple of creatures on the battlefield. Very useful map V starting hand will become Shadow Word: Pain. The spell will eliminate the “Swamp Crawler”, so you can attack the hero and trade with other enemy creatures.

After you have managed to gain a foothold on the table, replenish your health and wait for Lotheeb to start betting. Break them and attack the creature until there is nothing left of it.

Deck:

SPIDER QUARTER

Normal mode

Anub'Rekan

Hero Power: Spider Whisper (2 mana): Summons a 3/1 Nerubian to the battlefield.

The key card in Anub'Rekan's deck is “Lord of Death” (abilities: “Taunt. Deathrattle: Your opponent puts a creature from his deck onto the battlefield”). If you have Cairn Bloodhoof and Ragnaros in your collection, be sure to put them in your deck. There is a chance that one of the minions can be placed on the battlefield.

Both cards also look great in a paladin's deck.

The most important thing: collect cards in your starting hand for 2-3 mana. Then the “heavyweights” will enter the battle, who will help consolidate the advantage and finish off the opponent. Keep in mind that Anub'Rekan has three spells that destroy all creatures with 3 health. Therefore, move carefully, otherwise you may be left with nothing.

If with legendary cards problem, collect budget deck on the hunter. This class is ideal for clearing out the first quarter.

At the start, you need to collect the main combination “Hungry Buzzard” + “Let the Dogs Down”. If it is not there, the hunter will be in trouble on the 5th or 6th move. The combination works great when the opponent's board is full of creatures. Not only do you draw a lot of cards, but you also disrupt the pace of the game.

As a backup option, there is the Tracking spell. Don't try to play it on the first turn, otherwise you'll ruin everything. First, it is very important to collect as many cards as possible. “Track” is a lifesaver when you need to draw a game-ending card. For example, the spell “Take Command!”

The tactics with such a deck are simple: most of the time you need to attack the hero and periodically clear the board of enemy creatures. It is very important to “fatten” the “Carrion Hyena,” which will divert the enemy’s attention to itself.

Great Widow Farlina

Hero Power: Rain of Fire (2 mana): Fires a shot for each card in your opponent's hand.

Farlina likes it when a player has a lot of cards in his hand. This gives her the ability to cause as much damage as others have never dreamed of. Therefore, you need to act extremely aggressively against her from the first moves. How fewer cards will be in hand, the better.

Decks:

Mexna

Hero Power: Cocoon (3 mana): Returns a random enemy minion to his hand.

Compared to the previous two characters, Mexna is not that strong. The deck consists of weak creatures, and she rarely uses her ability. Cheap deck the hunter copes well with all three opponents.

Test mode

Druid

The main opponent in this match will be Farlina. You learned how to play against her in the first quarter. Therefore, try to collect the combination of “Fissing Ooze” + “Sign of Nature” (or “Force of the Wild”) at the very beginning. The slime will split at the end of its turn and you will have an exact copy of it. This will allow you to take control of the table and calmly play all the cards in your hand.

Robber

The robber will have to fight Meksna. Since the player's deck consists mainly of creatures, the initiative needs to be seized before 3-4 turns. Leave in your hand those creatures whose mana cost is no more than two. Fissing Ooze, Brotherhood Leader, and Rookie Engineer are great places to start.

Don't forget that Meksna's deck has two Sea Giants. Therefore, when you see “Experienced Hunter” in your hand (ability: “Battlecry: destroys a creature with attack 7 or higher”), do not rush to put it on the table just like that. Most likely, it will come in handy more than once. “Young Brewmaster” will help you replay this card (ability: “Battle Cry: Returns your creature from the battlefield to your hand”).

Heroic Mode

Anub'Rekan

Hero Power: Spider Whisper (2 mana): Summons a 4/4 Nerubian to the battlefield.

Compared with normal mode The hero's health increased from 30 to 45 units. The character has also become much more powerful - now he places a creature with parameters of 4/4, rather than 3/1, on the battlefield.

In this case, there are two options: beat him again with a paladin or hunter deck. The killing tactics do not change.

Decks:

Great Widow Farlina

Hero Power: Rain of Fire (1 mana): Fires a shot for each card in your opponent's hand.

Farlina’s strengths are that, firstly, she uses hero power for 1 mana, and secondly, the “Admirer” creature has 2/4 parameters and the ability “Your hero gets +3 attacks until the end of the turn” (not +1). When there are several such minions on the battlefield, the hero's death occurs very quickly. Therefore, it is very important not to let her take over the table.

Mexna

Hero Power: Cocoon (0 Mana): Returns two random enemy minions to his hand.

At the beginning of the battle near Meksna, there are two Possessed Crawler creatures on the playing field. In this situation, you can win against the insidious spider with two or even three classes: priest, hunter and mage.

When playing as a Hunter, it is very important to get Explosive Trap and Ironbeak in your starting hand. The role of the latter is that it first silences the spiders. After this you can safely kill them.

Once the operation to neutralize enemy creatures is completed, it is very important to quickly put three, or preferably four, creatures on the table. Otherwise, you simply won't be able to cope with Meksna's aggressive strategy and will lose.

In the case of the priest, the situation is similar. Only he has more spells and creatures on his hands that can change the outcome of the meeting.

Tactics for a magician are even simpler. Freeze all minions until turn 7, after which you incinerate them with the Fire Wave spell. Then play “Alexstrasza” on turn 9, and then finish with a combination of three spells “Fireball” + “ Fire ball" + "Ice Arrow". And victory is in your pocket.

The magician's deck contains a large number of spells that will help destroy the enemy. So, look at the situation to see how best to use them.

The Spider Quarter is the very first chapter in Naxxramass of Hearthstone and consists of three bosses. On normal passage, opponents can be defeated basic decks, but with the heroic one, not everything is as simple as we would like.

Heroic Mode

Anub Ryokan

The very first person who meets us in Naxxramass is Anub. On heroic, the problems begin with him, since the boss’s main ability does not allow him to control the table normally. Many players have already realized that no shaman or magician can cope well with opponents, so we suggest taking an alternative - the Warlock:

Widow Farlina

After defeating the spider, we move on to the next boss. This opponent's deck is mainly designed for rush or aggro, and we will try to do the same when playing as. First, we discard all the small cards and accumulate strong minions from this deck and guide:

Mexna

Well, finally we got to the last boss - Meksna on the Naxxramass heroic in Hearthstone. This is the strongest opponent in the first quarter and to win you need to build a rushing deck. The ideal option would be a Hunter.
