    Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos (from the English warcraft - military craft, reign of chaos - reign of chaos) is a computer game in the genre of real-time strategy with RPG elements. Developed by Blizzard Entertainment with the support of Vivendi Universal and released in July 2002.

    Warcraft III was one of the most anticipated games, with over 4.5 million pre-orders and over one million copies of the game sold in less than a month, making it the fastest-selling PC game to date.     Unlike previous games in the series, the number of warring parties has increased from two to four: you can play for the already well-known Alliance and Horde, as well as two new races - the Undead and the Night Elves. However, the overall gameplay has not changed - the player still needs to extract resources, build bases and hire troops to destroy the enemy. An innovation were heroes - unique warriors who have special abilities and are able to gain experience by killing enemy warriors.
    The game's campaign begins 12 years after the events of Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal and tells about the coming of demons to the world of Azeroth.

    The game comes with a World Editor map editor, thanks to which many unofficial maps have appeared online, in which the gameplay may be completely different from the usual one. DotA: Allstars became one of the most popular maps, and many other modifications were also developed, such as Tower Defense, Hero survival and others. A year later, an addition to the game, The Frozen Throne, was released, which also became popular among players and received many positive reviews.

    Easter eggs:

    The game has secret areas. One of them is called the chamber of peace. She can be found in the second chapter of the Undead Campaign. To get there you need to find a cross-gravestone at the base of the second paladin, destroy the forest behind it and go to the waterfall. A picture of pandas will briefly appear on the screen and a message will appear indicating that the player has found a secret area.

    In the second level of the night elf campaign there is a hydralisk (a unit from StarCraft). It is located behind the trees in the ballista receiving area. This unit is very helpful in storming the nearby undead base.

How to use the walkthrough

The completion of minor tasks and the location of secret areas are highlighted in the frame. Everything inside the frame is not necessary to complete the game, but for such actions they usually give a reward, which greatly simplifies the further process of passing.

Prologue. Exodus of the Horde

We see how the armies of orcs and people converged on the battlefield, and at this time fiery stones fell from the sky, foreshadowing the appearance of demons. But all this was just a dream of the young orc leader Thrall. A raven flies up to the orc's hut and says that it was not a dream, but a vision. The Prophet offers to follow him to get clarification.

This is a training mission where we are taught the basics of management in the strategy genre. Everything is simple and clear - follow the flags and follow the instructions. A group of warriors joins Thrall, and together with them we enter into battle with weak monsters.

At the beginning, Thrall has the All-Seeing Eye spell, which allows him to illuminate and see any area on the map. After several battles, Thrall will have a new hero level, thanks to this we learn the new spell “Chain Lightning”. We use the spell on large groups of enemies.

In the swamp we kill the amphibious Morlocks, their leader drops a mana potion. Only heroes can pick up items, so we give the item to Thrall.

In the place where the road goes in a zigzag, we go to the lower left dead end, there in the clearing we find a healing potion.

On the way we will meet stone golems; they do not sleep at night. By killing the golem in the lower right dead end, we get the item ring of protection (+1)(increases the hero’s defense by 1 unit).

On the road to the north, we turn onto the hill on the right and find ourselves in the troll camp. We kill the biggest troll and get medical treatise(increases Thrall's maximum health by 50 units).

We get to the Prophet. He advises leaving these lands and sailing west to Kalimdor in search of salvation from the attack of demons.

2. Departure

The orc troops are gathering to set sail. We need to build a temporary base for the arriving horde warriors.


Base construction:

Build a lair.

Build barracks.

This is a base building tutorial mission. Some of the buildings have already been built. We send a worker to the gold mine, he will begin to bring gold. We are hiring new workers in the large main building. We send 5 workers to the gold mine, and send a few more to the nearest tree so that they start cutting it down. We begin to build the necessary buildings with individual workers. The barracks have a flag indicating where new warriors will go. We can change the location of the flag with the right mouse button. It is best to place the flag directly on the main character, then all new warriors will always come to him.

While the base is being built, the hero can use the reconnaissance spell. In the upper right corner we can clear the gnoll camp, for this we need at least three warriors, for this we will get scroll of healing(heals all enemies in the squad).

After building the base, go right to the bridge. The people are rebuilding the bridge, saying they've already captured one of our leaders, and attacking us. We are going on a counteroffensive.


Bully Thunder:

Find and save Grom.

We go to the other side of the river, killing groups of people on the way. You don't have to touch the observation towers, they are not dangerous for us. We destroy the big gate.

Next, we destroy the hanging cages and free new warriors from them. In the second cell we find a shaman - this is an orc wizard, he can cast “purification” on enemies to slow them down. To select the desired type of troops in one group, press “Tab” to switch and quickly turn on the spells of both Thrall and the shaman.

We continue to rescue our warriors from bars. We get to the second gate.

Bully Thunder:

Destroy the guard towers to free Grom.

Behind the gate we destroy three watchtowers that are constantly shooting at us. In the squad menu, you need to monitor the health of the soldiers, and withdraw seriously wounded soldiers in time. Having won, we free the orc nicknamed Thunder the bully from his cage.

1. Defense of Stranbard

Aggressive groups of orcs remained in Lordaeron and began to attack human settlements, sensing the imminent appearance of demons. The king sent the paladin Uther and Prince Arthas to defend his southern lands. Uther goes to attack the orc camp, and we, in the role of Arthas, send us to defend the nearest village.

We have a paladin hero with a healing spell and several infantry under our command. We break all the boxes in the camp, find a healing potion and a scroll of protection.

We follow the road to the south. In the southwestern dead end we see two peasants with an exclamation mark; these peasants join our army as infantrymen.

In the upper right corner of the village in a forest clearing we are ambushed by bandits.


In the east of the village we meet a girl asking for help.

Additional task. Save Timmy:

Kill the gnolls who kidnapped the child.

We go to the right along the path, kill the gnolls, and free the child from the cage. For the killed gnoll leader we get a healing potion, and the girl for saving the child gives us a Ring of Protection +1. We return to the main road.

On the right, near the bridge, we see how bandits robbed a farmer. The victim asks us to return the stolen ledger.

Additional task. Ataman of the robbers:

Kill Menag, the chieftain of the robbers.

Return the book to Gerad.

We go to the right, catch up with the bandits and deal with them. We select the book, take it to the farmer, for this we receive from him the Book of Strength +1 (+1 strength for the hero).


After several battles we get the 2nd level of the hero. It is better to study the spell “Aura of Devotion” (+1 armor for all troops around the paladin).

Beyond the bridge we see that Stranbard has already been attacked by orcs.


Stranbard:

Kill the overseer and his guards.

Arthas must not die.

We go around the entire village and find several bonuses. There is a mana potion in the boxes to the north. To the left of the upper gate, three infantrymen are fighting with the orcs, we help them, they will join us. At the end we go to the northwest, there we meet the Orc Overseer and fight him.

The village has been saved, but the orcs have taken the captured peasants to their base, they need to be freed. Let's go help Uther attack the base.

2. Trouble at the Black Stone

Uther created a base in front of the orcs, but did not attack them yet, but decided to negotiate in an amicable way. The negotiations failed, Uther allows us to attack, while he remains to guard his base.


Set up your camp:

Build barracks.

Build 2 farms.

Hire 6 infantry.

To attack, you need to hire troops, and for this you need to build the specified buildings. We hire peasants, send 5 of them to gold, the rest to wood. At the entrance of the base there are 4 observation towers, we improve them so that they do not shoot at the constantly attacking orcs. The boxes at the base contain a scroll of protection and a health potion. We are gradually gathering an army.


Blade Master:

The base is attacked by an orc hero. He says that it is useless to fight, soon the demons will destroy us all. We receive the task to destroy this hero.


We go with a detachment of infantrymen and clear the surrounding area.

To the east of our camp we find a gnome forge. The old blacksmith asks us to kill the black dragon and bring his heart. To help, he gives us 4 dwarf archers.

We enter the eastern cave. On the way we kill small dragons, at the end of the cave is the main dragon. All enemies fly in the air, so infantrymen cannot attack them, only shooters are needed.

We take the dragon's heart, take it to the blacksmith, he forges us a fiery sword (we get the item Ball of Fire, it adds +6 damage to the attack, and also deals damage to all nearby enemies upon impact). Also, now we can improve the armor of our troops in the gnome forge.


In the north, at the orc base, you can destroy the barracks and menagerie so that the enemies will no longer attack our camp. After this, you can study the entire level in more detail, there are a lot of secrets on it.

In the northwest of our base there is a gnoll camp, there we take a mana potion. The Morlocks are located even higher in the lake; they have combat claws (+3) (adds +3 damage to the hero’s attack).


Secret. In the Morlock camp on the western lake, we go to the lower left corner, ahead we see the entrance to a hill covered by a tree. We build a sawmill on the shore of the lake, send workers to cut down the tree blocking the path. When there is enough space on the hill, we can build a sawmill right there so that workers can cut down wood faster. Upstairs behind the trees we find ogres, take away the ogre's gauntlets +3 (adds +3 strength to the hero).

Secret. There is exactly the same secret in the eastern part of the level, behind the lake with a waterfall. We also need to break through the trees with the help of the peasants, but there we find only a few Morlocks on a rocky hill; they have no items.

Secret. We build a sawmill at the entrance to the eastern cave, send peasants to cut down the tree in a southern direction. We find a gnol behind the trees, take the rod of disbelief from him (you can dispel other people’s spells three times).


Having cleared the entire level, we go to the northeast. In the clearing we find the enemy hero Blade Master. He kills captured peasants as a sacrifice for demons. In battle, the master creates copies of himself. The real one is the one whose health declines the slowest.

3. The coming of the plague

In the intro we see how the prophet raven visits the capital of the elf-wizards Dalaran. The Supreme Mage also does not listen to the prophet’s warning. The raven flies away, and the magician sends the sorceress Jaina Proudmoore (daughter of the famous Captain Proudmoore from previous parts of WarCraft) to the northern lands to deal with an unknown magical disease.


Explore the surrounding villages.

In the role of Arthas we meet Jaina. We only have a captain and a couple of foot soldiers with us, but Jaina can constantly summon large water elementals to help her.

We go back, kill the ogres, and get a healing potion.

Ahead on the road we see a destroyed bridge, we go around on the right. In the clearing we protect the peasants from the attack of bandits. If at least someone survives, then you will receive a reward large health potion.


We walk through the shallow waters and fight with murlocs and bandits. To destroy a neutral building, you need to press the “A” key and click on the target with the mouse (this cannot be done by simply clicking the mouse). After destroying the Morlocks' house, we will find a hammer of strength (+1 strength). We break down the house in the bandit camp on the lake and find a scroll of protection.


We get to the shore, here the local infantrymen are attacked by skeleton archers. We kill enemies, and our foot soldiers. Infantrymen also have the ability to “hide behind a shield,” which increases protection against ranged attacks. In battle, this ability must be turned on if there are enemy archers, and after the battle it must be turned off so that the warriors can run faster.

Skeletons are manifestations of the magical plague. Local residents become infected, die and turn into undead. Ahead we see that the cause of the plague is poisoned grain. We destroy the infected barn.

On the way we meet two elf healers, we take them into the squad. With their spell they can not only heal, but also cause damage to the undead. From them we learn that there is a second infected barn in the village.


Main task. Villages:

Destroy the barn with the infected grain.

Ahead we meet gnomes with a mortar; they are shooting at the undead from afar. This is a good ranged unit. In the south in the lake we find an object Scholar's Robe (+3)(adds +3 intelligence to the hero).

We get to the barn, here the main necromancer quickly hides from us, leaving skeletons and a large scary creature, the Abomination, on the battlefield. After the victory, we inspect the barn, find out that this grain was supplied from Andorhal, and go there.

4. Cult of the damned

On the approaches to Andorhal we see undead minions capturing a gold mine. We drive them away and establish our base here.


Explore Andorhal.

We are quickly building the base. The enemy base is located on the top left, so we build fortifications on our base only on this side. It is best to build four towers, and put farms in front of the towers (because of this, melee enemies will not be able to hit the towers, they will have to go around, or hit the farms, which have the same strength as the towers).

There is no need to attack the enemy base ahead of time, they have many defensive towers, so it is better to first build a workshop and hire a group of mortars.

In the meantime, the base is developing, we send heroes and troops to the east to clear the forests of monsters. In the east we find a goblin store, where you can buy consumable items for the heroes. A little further there is a second gold mine, near it you can build a second base to mine gold twice as fast.

We begin an attack on the enemy base. Using mortars, we shoot from afar the enemy’s defensive towers – ziggurats. Secondly, we destroy the buildings from which new units appear, and then everything else.

We enter the destroyed city in the north. We meet the necromancer Kel-Thuzad. We learn that it is he who distributes the infected grain, but a certain demon Ticondrius commands the whole process. Kel-Tuzad is hiding outside the city, we catch up with him.


Kel'Thuzad:

Kill Kel-Thuzad.

In the city we kill the neutral zombie Timmy, we get Ring of Supremacy(+1 to all hero characteristics).

Outside the city we kill several abominations, and then Kel-Thuzad. Finally, Kel-Tuzad says that his death will not change anything, the process of decomposition has begun.

5. March of the Undead

In search of the demon, Arthas and Jaina reach the city of Heartglen. We learn from the locals that huge armies of the undead are approaching the city. We send Jaina to Lord Uther for help, while we ourselves defend the city. (Jaina's items remain at our base).

This is a difficult mission, and if you play on hard, then almost impossible. But any problem can be dealt with by following useful tips.


Protect Harglen:

Hold on for 30 minutes.

From the very beginning, we quickly rebuild all the necessary buildings for the production of wizards and mortars, and make improvements in the forge and sawmill. There are already towers built at the exits on the left and above; we can strengthen them by placing farms in front of them. But you shouldn’t rely too much on the towers; enemies will attack with siege weapons and will be able to destroy them from a safe distance. It is better to invest all the money in a combat-ready army. Only the upper left passage can be lined with 4-6 towers, or you can build towers in the center of the base, and lure all attacking enemies to this place.

We can immediately go to the lower part of the city, where we will receive three infantrymen for free. There is a scroll of healing on a hill in the southwest. There is a goblin shop in the north above the base. Going anywhere further is dangerous.

In this mission we have a new type of unit - Sorceresses. They can automatically slow down enemies, or turn allies into sheep for camouflage. But sorceresses are useless in this mission. The enemies have many necromancers in their army, and any loss on our part adds a possible number of skeletons to the enemies. It is better to assemble an army of warriors with a large supply of health: shooters and mortars. Healers are also needed, they can destroy skeletons with their second spell, but if you do not have time to use this opportunity in battle, then it is better to leave healers in the rear of the base, and visit them from time to time to quickly restore the army.


When the timer has 21 minutes left, we learn that a caravan with contaminated grain is passing nearby. He visits all the villages along the way and turns the peasants into zombies. And the zombies that appear attack our base. The sooner we stop the caravan, the fewer unnecessary enemies will attack us.

Additional task

Destroy the undead caravan.

The caravan passes behind two enemy bases. It is deadly to attack the enemy bases themselves, since they are guarded by other people's heroes, but you can go between the bases.

We go west, go down into the lake, kill a gang of Morlocks in the shallow water, free the peasant from the cage, and as a reward he betrays us Walking boots(increasing the hero’s movement speed). To the left of the lake we go to the edge of the enemy base, from here we go up to the road.

There are many ghouls, abominations, and necromancers in the caravan, but to complete the task we only need to destroy all the corpse trucks, so we first concentrate fire on them, and then on the guards. (On hard difficulty it is useless to kill numerous caravan guards).

Having smashed all the cars, we can pick up an artifact from them Medallion of Courage(+4 to the hero’s strength and intelligence) and item City Portal Scroll. We can immediately use the scroll to quickly return the army to its base.



The less time remains, the more often enemies will begin to attack. The main principle of survival in such a situation is to constantly have a large number of troops; you cannot lose many soldiers in battles. To do this, we take wounded soldiers from the front to the rear in time so that they can be treated by healers. By pressing the “Alt” button you can see the health bars of all fighters on the screen. And in the game settings you can make sure that the health bars are displayed constantly, this will be more convenient.

We will lose when we don't have a single building left. Thus, to delay losing, you can build farms far from your base: near the goblin shop, near the top gold mine, or in the upper left corner. This way we will gain a few extra minutes. On a high difficulty game, these minutes can save lives.

Having held out for all 30 minutes, we meet Uther with many horsemen. His army easily defeats all the attacking undead.

6. Cleansing of Stratholme

In the intro, we see that Artes meets a prophet raven on his way. Once again we hear predictions of an impending threat. Arthas does not want to retreat and leave his lands, but Jaina, who overheard the conversation, clearly thought about the words of the prophet.


Arriving in Stratholme, we see that all the residents here are already infected. Arthas decides to kill the plague inhabitants before they turn into zombies. Uther and Jaina do not agree with such brutal methods and leave the hero.

Cleansing of Stratholme:

Destroy city buildings.

Kill 100 zombies.

Stop Malganus from collecting 100 zombies.

We need to destroy 100 zombies, but in this matter we have a competitor - the demon Malganus, he takes zombies into his army, we need to interfere with him if possible. Zombies can be found in any house in the city. Houses are neutral buildings, so you need to destroy them only with a special command: press the “A” key, click on the house. We attack the zombies that appear in the same way, even before they turn into enemies.

We quickly rebuild the base: we improve the main building, build a forge, a workshop, and place towers in the narrow passage below. To the left of the base you can destroy the bandit camp, there we will find teleportation scroll(it’s better to lay out one of your things and take a scroll, it will be more useful here), and if you destroy the tent, it will contain a book of strength +2.

We create a small detachment and send the hero with this army to destroy buildings. All attention is on the hero, only from time to time we look at the base, continue research, hire new troops.

The squad includes shooters, mortars and new units - knights. To overtake a competitor, we destroy his demon hero. He will later be resurrected, but the resurrection process will take a whole minute. (On hard difficulty it is not recommended to kill Malganus more than twice, each time his security detachment becomes larger and larger, it is better not to intersect with him at all, but to create a second separate detachment of mortarmen and knights to kill zombies faster). In battle, Malganus uses a special spell “Sleep”, temporarily putting either our hero or the strongest unit to sleep. To wake up a sleeping person, you can hit him once with your unit (press the “A” key, click on the target).

It is deadly dangerous to attack an enemy base; there is a large defense detachment there. But if you have already learned to play well, then on easy and normal difficulty there is a chance to destroy the base. For this we will receive the item ---.

Having collected 100 zombies, we celebrate the victory. Now Malganis has no one to gather an army from, and he leaves our lands, going north to Northrend.

7. Arrival in Northrend

Arthas took the royal fleet and followed the demon to the northern continent. After landing on the shore, the first task is to find a place to camp.

Find a gold mine.

Set up a camp.

Controlling a 7th level hero and several fighters, we move into the snowy forests, kill wolves and ice trolls. Large spiders live in the northern dead end; if you manage to kill them, you will receive the Sphere of Ice artifact (+6 damage, freezes the enemy for 3 seconds when hit).

In the eastern part of the map we find a gold mine. We begin building the base. Here we come across an ambush of dwarves led by the hero Muradin. The dwarves join us and ask us to free their base from the undead.

The dwarves have an air unit - a helicopter, with its help you can quickly scout the entire map. We learn that on the top right is a small, poorly protected base of the undead, it can be attacked from the very beginning, and on the top left is the main base of the enemies. We build more helicopters and defensive towers, since enemies will often send their air units - gargoyles - to us.




Destroy Malganus' base.

At two bases we build the missing buildings, carry out all the improvements, gather an army, and only after that we attack the main base of the enemies. You can assemble several siege tanks, and quickly destroy the main buildings of the enemies so that they no longer produce troops.

After the victory, we discover that Malganus is not at this base. We need to continue searching further. We learn from Muradin that the legendary blade Frostmourne is hidden somewhere in Northrend, and it was in search of it that the dwarf expedition set out.

8. Betrayal

Lord Uther learns about Arthas's campaign and persuades King Terenis to withdraw his troops from this expedition. The king's emissary arrives in Northrend and orders our troops to return home. The infantrymen decide to make their way to the shore along a safe but long path through the forest. Artes decides to take the fast route and burn the ships so as not to be left without an army.


Destroy 5 ships.

Do it in 25 minutes (on hard – 15 minutes).

Our squad consists of only two heroes and two mortars. To strengthen the squad, we visit mercenary camps and take in monsters. We destroy ships from the shore with Muradin's first spell.

On the way we find a useful artifact: Mana Stone (increases mana recovery). It's better to give it to Muradin to use the stun blow more often.

In the second camp we buy mainly archers, because there will be flying dragons ahead.

We reach the goblin camp. Here you need to make a path through the forest from below under the goblin building. It’s better to do this with targeted shots from mortars, but if there are none left, you can buy goblin demolitions to destroy trees.

Further on the way there will be a road down, around which there are many attacking towers. If we go ahead, we will lose most of the squad. It’s better to use a trick: We lay out an unnecessary item with Artes, buy a Teleportation Amulet in the shop, turn on the “Divine Shield” spell and alone pass by the towers to the southern bank, use the purchased amulet, select the entire squad in the zone that appears, after which it teleports to Artes.

At the end of the path, necromancers stand near the cemeteries and summon many skeletons. On hard difficulty, it’s better to just run past one Muradin and hit the last ship with a hammer.

Having won, Artes meets the infantry who have arrived and says that it was local mercenaries who destroyed the ships. This is how Artes achieves his goal and gets rid of his already unnecessary mercenaries.

9. Frostmourne

Muradin does not approve of Arthas' cunning methods, but continues to help him in the fight against the undead. Arthas justifies his actions by saying that the enemies are even more cruel. The thirst for revenge completely consumed him.

Malganus appears on the horizon with his large army. The heroes understand that they can’t easily deal with the enemy. Arthas decides to get the sword Frostmourne in order to somehow change the balance of power in his favor.


Frostmourne:

Find Frostmourne.

Arthas must survive.

Muradin must survive.

A squad of two heroes and a guard goes to the teleport and ends up in an ice cave where the legendary blade is hidden. Controlling the squad, we clear the cave from wolves and dark spirits. But at the same time, you need to have time to monitor the base, build buildings and units, since the undead will constantly attack it.

At the end of the cave we meet the ghosts of the banshee, they inhabit our strongest warriors and take them for themselves forever, so it is better to approach the banshee only as heroes.

We defeat the dark spirit - the guardian of the sword, examine the pedestal, on it Muradin reads that the sword is cursed. But this does not stop Arthas; he takes the sword, while Muradin dies from flying ice shards. Arthas returns to base and engages in battle with the demon.



Destroy Malganus' base.

Returning to base, we are preparing an attack on the enemy. First of all, we destroy the secondary purple base on the right. The green base of Malganus is in the upper right corner. The enemy rarely attacks, but if we come to his base, he will defend himself with a huge army. On normal difficulty of the game, this base can be easily razed to the ground in one go, without even trying, but on high difficulty it is quite difficult to storm such a fortress. To win on hard, you will have to use many tactical tricks:

We scout the entire map with helicopters or eagles. We capture one or two additional gold mines. At the exit from the Malganus base, right at the intersection, we build 5-6 of our towers, but closer to the wall, so that they do not interfere with our passage. We also bring our army and a couple of workers with auto-repair turned on here. We hire the largest possible army, take warriors of all types (you shouldn’t rely on the power of your horsemen, the enemy has air units - gargoyles and ice wyrms, so you need arrows for cover, and healers to remove sleep and curses). We assign the main squad to the “1” key (having selected the warriors, press “Ctrl” + “1”, and then we can always select the warriors with the “1” key). We create a second detachment exclusively from steam tanks, there must be at least four of them. We assign this unit to the “2” key.

We begin the attack. We attack the base with the main army and the hero, then immediately retreat to our towers. The enemy army will come towards us and will find itself under fire from the towers. Here we fight until the enemies are destroyed. Having lost half of the fighters, we can use Artes’s resurrection ability. With the first losses, we immediately begin recruiting new soldiers at our base. On hard difficulty, the forces will be equal, and we may not have any army left after the battle, but neither will the enemy. With the hero and the remnants of the army, we go to the enemy’s base, luring all the foreign units with us to the northern part. At this time, we bring a second detachment of tanks to the lower part of the base. While the enemies are absent, the tanks will have time to demolish several important buildings. Sooner or later we will have to retreat, we lead the tanks to our towers, where the workers will repair them. At this time, the enemy will only restore their buildings, and we will hire new units. After some time, we repeat the offensive, but there will be fewer enemies, we will be able to survive after the battle, this will give us the opportunity to completely destroy the enemy’s base.

Well, you have come to the Foreteller. He will mutter languidly about impending misfortunes and recommend collecting all available orcs and sailing to distant lands, because this is the only way to save everything. You'll have to take his word for it.

Chapter two. Departures
The troops believed their leader and are preparing to march. But we need to prepare for their arrival - build a base. But Thunder is late for some reason.

Find and save Grom.
A handful of people proudly declare that they saw you, the orcs, in a coffin and white slippers (because they were worthy of capturing one of your heroes), and it would be better for you to surrender right away, before they saw anything else. We'll have to beat the insolent people. While you are heading to the attacked tower (unless, of course, you have grouped troops near it in advance), people will have time to damage it a little - learn to repair it. Having reached the first gate (you can ignore the Observation Towers), you will find out what they are for - to be broken. Aim at them like you would a normal building and right-click. Hit the allied troops standing nearby, and another Soldier will be freed from the cage. A Shaman awaits you in the next cell. It has little use, but now it is the first remote shooter. In addition, here you will be taught how to switch with the Tab key between different representatives of your squad. After this, you will encounter a couple of enemy Shooters. Destroy them quickly before they shred the Shaman. Having defeated the next detachment, you will become the owner of another Shaman and a pair of Soldiers. The squad is growing by leaps and bounds. Two Knights are waiting for you near the second gate, but can they compete with your crowd?

Chapter first. The Defense of Strahnbrad

The best forces of the empire - Uther and the king's son Arthas - are sent to suppress the orc uprising. Now they need to save the village of Stranbrad.

But when you go north, you will discover the reason for the appearance of the undead - the grain is poisoned. Destroy the infected barn and move on to the village with the first Necromancer on your way. A little further you will meet two Priests who will join you and offer to destroy the barn in the distant village.

Chapter Four. The Cult of the Damned
So the place of spread of the infection has been found - the agricultural center of the Alliance, the city of Andorhal. And Arthas and Jaina will have to deal with whoever is creating this mess.

You have Jaina, Arthas, three Foot Soldiers, a Mortar and three Peasants, currently busy rebuilding the main base structures. Quickly rebuild your base and send a group of your people east to another gold mine, as this one will dry up very soon. But don’t forget to build several towers near the western entrance to the base and leave everyone who was given to you for the mission near these towers (except for heroes, of course). The situation is complicated by the fact that poisoned grain was delivered to the city, and it has already been distributed among local residents. But ours will survive.

It is especially worth strengthening the passage leading to the west, since this is where the undead warriors will mainly come from. The second action will be the simultaneous construction of an army and a second row of defensive structures. The second row refers to the Gun Turrets. They should be placed at the western and northwestern passages (there will be little disturbance along it, but it will face the final onslaught of the undead.). The army is necessary to repel the attacks of the Corpse Trucks and to complete the additional task that you will be given in a few minutes.

A caravan with infected grain will go along the western (and then northern) edge of the map. Your task is to stop him before he leaves the map. For your convenience, several villages through which the caravan will pass are marked. Passing through the village, the caravan destroys it, which can be taken as a guide. Therefore, two or three villages before it leaves the map, it is quite possible to recruit troops to attack the caravan and intercept it. But... it’s better not to delay this, and, having built up the army to 12 people (three can be obtained by going to the south-eastern corner of the map, there three peasants are converted into Infantrymen), go along the edge of the map to the south-western corner, where through 10 minutes after the start of the mission a caravan will appear. There are 2 Necromancers, 4 Corpse Carts and about 6 Ghouls. Simply, passing through the village, they destroy the inhabitants, turning them into Zombies. And this whole crowd will attack you at the end of the mission. And so, instead of another crowd of the enemy, you will receive an artifact with +4 to Strength and Intelligence and a Town Portal scroll.
The enemy's main attacks will occur 2-3 minutes before the end. But if someone held out, then Uther will arrive with the cavalry and show Kuzka’s mother to the undead.

Chapter six. The Culling
The fortuneteller tries to explain to Arthas the right path, but he does not believe him that these lands cannot be saved. He doesn't listen to Jaina's words either. He still believes that the undead can be defeated easily and painlessly.
Following this, he quarrels with Uther and removes him from command. Jaina leaves with Uther. And the prince is sure that the undead can be dealt with by cutting out everyone who is infected with them. Today we have to clean out the city of Stratholme...

Mal"Ganis does the same thing, only he teleports these zombies to his territory.
Quickly rebuild the base, blocking the lower entrance to it with several towers. Recruit about 8 fighters led by the prince and send them to the city to destroy houses. It is important that the squad consists mainly of freshly received Knights and Archers. Soon Mal"Ganis will appear, who will do the same. Your party has enough strength to destroy him. Now a timer will appear showing how much time is left until Mal"Ganis' next appearance to the people. Do not get involved in battles with the enemy base in the southwestern corner of the map. At this time, control the situation at your base, making sure that the incoming enemy does not destroy your defensive structures. And build a second batch. If necessary, destroy Mal"Ganis a second time (note that he recovers no less than other heroes). The third time (especially if you have already launched a second batch into the city) is no longer needed. He simply will not have time for you.
And the prince will be glad that he has “liberated” another city. But Mal Ganis disappeared, and the prince followed him.

Chapter seven. The Shores of the Northrend

However, he will immediately be attacked by the gnomes, who mistakenly mistook him for the undead. However, the Dwarves quickly realize their mistake, and their hero Muradin happily joins you, helping you with the Barracks, Helicopter, 3 Gunners, and himself, the Level 5 Mountain King. But he asks in return to complete a task - to save his people.

The mini-base of these people is located in the northeastern corner of the map and contains a gold mine and a number of troops on its territory. Saving them is an optional process, but after saving them, the Siege Tank will join you and you will have the opportunity to build this fighting machine.
For now, relax and start strengthening the base: a row of Towers along its northwestern contour. They are especially needed given the frequent raids of enemy aircraft. After creating protective barriers, build 2-3 Mortars and go north. The mortars and the forces that you already have should be enough to even take out the enemy base without any losses.
Get another base at your disposal, complete all the upgrades, add a few more troops (just a little) and go gut the last enemy base in the northwest. And Mal"Ganis is not there... Meanwhile, Arthas hears for the first time about Frostmourne, the legendary sword.

Chapter eight. Dissension
Lord Uther manages to persuade King Terenis to withdraw his troops from the futile expedition. In Arthas' absence, an emissary arrives and informs the troops. Buy archers, bearing in mind that somewhere in the middle of the path you will meet several dragons. Another tricky point on the map is the grove next to the Goblin Shop (in front of the third ship). To destroy it, siege weapons are needed. Therefore, if you have lost your Mortars, you will have to purchase from the Goblins. There will be dragons right behind the third ship. And a little further away there will be a road, along the edges of which there are towers. If you have enough time, it’s better to take them down. If not, run. But keep in mind that only one hero will pass.
As a result, the cunning prince will blame everything on the surviving mercenaries, posing as a benefactor and savior of the ships. And the army will have to continue its journey along foreign shores.

Chapter Nine. Frostmourn
Even Muradin begins to be surprised at how Arthas gives a damn about everything, going towards his goal. But Arthas convinces him to help find the blade, explaining his fixation on revenge by the fact that Muradin did not see what the undead did to Arthas' homeland.

She is useful because no one can see her now, and she can scout any territory. Therefore, first the Shadow determines where the desired “red peasants” are located, who become Servants when approaching, and then the prince runs near them, after which they are converted into Servants and teleported. You must carefully avoid military clashes - the prince still has little strength, but there are too many enemies. Already the second or third Servant will give the prince information about the cemetery.

Moreover, the enemy often attacks from behind, and a few seconds after that centaurs appear from the head of the column. So don’t get carried away by the first reports of an attack and pay attention to everything. In addition, there will be many branches. Small groups of centaurs sit in them. You can quite easily not touch them at all. You can get some good stuff from them (artifacts, potions), but most often your troops will simply die there, and this will be of little use.
Three more Soldiers will join you near the first source. A good replacement for Troll Hunters, who have probably already been shot. Use Phantom Wolves in a timely manner, which are relatively inexpensive, and their benefits are an order of magnitude greater than Chain Lightning (it works well with excess mana and full development). In large dumps, Signs of Healing can help. Three Riders will join you near the Goblin Store. Help too. Buy a mana potion and scrolls or vials of treatment there and continue on your way. If there are not enough resources in your gold mine, use the gold mine on one of the destroyed enemy bases.
As a result of the destruction of all enemy bases, you will find yourself in front of the passage to the Goblin Laboratory. Two more squads of centaurs (not serious) and a squad of harpies will stand on your way. But for the latter, it is advisable to stock up on a large number of Riders. The job is done, the orcs have moved one step closer to victory. Thrall sets out to find the Oracle, leaving Grom to build a base in the forest.

The existing Workers begin to build towers around the entire perimeter of the base, especially paying attention to the entrances. Workers who came from other bases join them. A certain number of troops are being completed (as long as time and money are enough). And the repulse of the invasion begins. If you are very lucky, you will lose very little. The invasion through the southern entrance will begin earlier, but as soon as the situation normalizes a little, pay attention to the northern entrance to the base. Greater forces will come there than from the south, and everything can be very bad. Having repelled the attack, restore the defense and even further build it up. Don’t be sorry for the towers, there won’t be enough of them. Immediately begin to develop the mine in the north of the base. And the best mobile unit will be a group of 3-4 Catapults. The group should be directed along a forest path running north from the northern end of the base. After fighting several groups of enemies, you will reach a portal that will take you to another part of the forest. There, following a no less winding path, you will reach the Well of Chaos. His guards are strong, but not stronger than your troops. Destroy them and approach the Well.
Wow, Groma and most of the orcs have undergone changes! They became Chaos Orcs. What does it mean? They can now penetrate all sorts of enemy defenses, becoming a great threat to Cenarius.

No matter what anyone says, Cenarius is a very cunning hero. He sits on a mountain surrounded by 3 elf villages, and when they are attacked, he descends. But he enters the battlefield only when the enemy is almost defeated, and only finishes him off. This is greatly facilitated by the Druids of the Claw accompanying him with their Tornadoes. Therefore, it is still advisable to cut out one village (although not on the first try). Then he can be provoked to attack, but you definitely need to prepare accordingly. To attack, you will need to have a “bait” from a detachment of Riders or Soldiers numbering 9-10 units. In front of the “bait” you can place an Immobility Trap from the Troll Healer. The bait should be accompanied by 5-6 Catapults, which “treat” Cenarius himself poorly, but treat his accompanying people well. And a reserve of 9-10 Soldiers should be hiding in the bushes. With “bait” you need to lure the enemy to the site of the former base (preferably the southern one), attacking another base and retreating. When Cenarius arrives, his escorts will heavily treat the “bait”, and most of the soldiers will rest one way or another. This is where the reserve comes into play. The entire reserve should be under your command and attack Cenarius himself. It is better to add Thunder himself to the reserve in order to successfully use his special abilities. When you have enough fighters to repel enemy sabotage and for your own sabotage, then move north-west from the base with Cairn, Thrall and a detachment of Riders. There you will find a group of harpies, from whom you will be able to extort where the captive wyverns are before the fight. Continue to follow this passage north, destroying enemy units. Just keep in mind that when attacking the harpy camp, you must have a full squad, otherwise the attack will fail. But after this, Wyverns will appear in your ranks.
The second additional task is performed in a similar way. Somewhere in the middle of the path to the enemy bases there is a group of centaurs, killing whom you will receive the sculpture you need. That's just the point of this fountain (it's west of the base)... You left it a long time ago. And running to heal across the entire map is a bit crooked.
Establish your checkpoint a little short of the destroyed centaur camp and from there attack the base under the mountain. She is quite weak and will not survive a proper attack (Tauren + Catapult). There is very little left - to demolish the base at the peak. To do this, we build another checkpoint right under the mountain (so that the Griffins do not disturb) and move a couple of Workers to the edge of the mountain. By airship, of course. There we quickly build another checkpoint with 4-5 Towers, after which we drop troops from a couple of Airships. It is better to do this in a corner covered with forest, on the eastern edge of the mountain. Attack from there. The best composition of the party - Taurens and Catapults are dismantled below, Wyverns neutralize enemy aircraft. It's unlikely that the battle will be very long.

When the first mine is close to emptying (and this will happen very quickly), it is necessary to transfer several Defenders further, to the next mine, so that they have time to take up positions before the main forces arrive. To the north of it will be a corrupted Fountain of Life, guarded by several "bears". Here you will receive an additional task.

His lair is located north of Fountain. The quest, of course, is optional, but quite a decent thing drops out of it. It is better to lure most "bears" out and beat them with Elders. But their boss will have to be beaten manually, because he categorically refuses to be lured out so far. But then you can just bring the Elders closer.
The next gold mine is in strengthening people. Destroying them is not too difficult, but it is not worth organizing a “last and decisive battle”. Because your path lies in the swamps, where the vile Revenant has settled down. Here you will be given the task of destroying it in order to clear the swamps of the undead, which are constantly being restored.

Near the bridge you will meet bandits who have captured a farmer and his daughter. Of course, they need to be broken. Moreover, one bandit drops a mana potion. And the farmer immediately asks you to take away his “accounting book” from the bandits.

Follow the bandits and you will find them. There are not many of them there, and their leader is rather frail. Pick up the book and return to the bridge. Meanwhile, Uther has laid siege to the orc camp and is trying to negotiate with them. But... it didn't work out. And you are tasked with leading the attack.

The crates nearby contain a Scroll of Protection and a Health Potion.

The dragon sits in the caves east of the meeting place with the “quest distributor”. On the approaches to him he will meet several small creatures, and he himself will be helped by a couple more freaks. But, if you don’t forget to treat the Shooters, the dragon will lose its heart today. Take the heart to the customer and get access to first level upgrades in the Forge, which has become yours, plus the ability to produce Shooters. And the Ball of Fire with the ability to inflict 12 additional points of fire damage is by no means superfluous. Now you can beat your opponent.

You can, of course, destroy a couple of murloc villages in the west (healing potion and Attack Claws +3) and in the east (healing potion), and also demolish the orc base in the north, but this is not the main thing. The main thing is the Blade Master in the northeast. But he is alone, and his death will be quick.

Chapter three. Ravages of the Plague

Meanwhile, Dalaran became preoccupied with problems in the north, and the best magical minds of the Alliance decided to send the famous heroine Jaina Proudmoore to help the affected territories (such a fantasy Ministry of Emergency Situations).

It turns out that in this area the entire population turned into undead and began to attack the regular army. We'll have to figure it out. But for now, go to the Fountain of Life. In the village along the way and at the Fountain itself, some more undead await you, but this is not serious. But when you go north, you will discover the reason for the appearance of the undead - the grain is poisoned. Destroy the infected barn and move on to the village with the first Necromancer on your way. A little further you will meet two Priests who will join you and offer to destroy the barn in the distant village.

The necromancer who lives near the poisoned barn disappears, leaving behind a certain amount of undead led by the Abomination, which will not be a problem for you. By the way, don’t demolish the barn right away - several more reptiles will crawl out of the bushes. And then you will be left with a mystery - who was this wizard.

Chapter Four. The Cult of the Damned

So the place of spread of the infection has been found - the agricultural center of the Alliance, the city of Andorhal. And Arthas and Jaina will have to deal with whoever is creating this mess.

You have Jaina, Arthas, three Foot Soldiers, a Mortar and three Peasants, currently busy rebuilding the main base structures. Quickly rebuild your base and send a group of your people east to another gold mine, as this one will dry up very soon. But don’t forget to build several towers near the western entrance to the base and leave everyone who was given to you for the mission near these towers (except for heroes, of course). By the way, Jaina comes to the mission at level three, so raise it for her. It will be very cool to develop her aura, which accelerates mana regeneration in partners, and the summoning of Elementals.

Explorers will find several small groups of enemies, a Goblin Store with some supplies, and the mine itself, guarded by elementals. Clear the territory, fortunately there is no way to get into it, and send peasants there, let them mine gold.

It's time for the western passage. There is a base of the undead a little further away, so a couple of Mortars won't hurt. The base is not very strong and is destroyed very quickly. Upon entering the ruined city, you will find Kel'Thuzad, the leader of the undead. He will try to laugh at you, saying that you are late, and disappear. We must at least take revenge on him.

Following the enemy, Arthas and Jaina arrive in the city of Heartglen. And they will know that they got here on time. Huge hordes of undead are moving towards the city. The situation is complicated by the fact that poisoned grain was delivered to the city, and it has already been distributed among local residents. But ours will survive.

You need to hold out for 30 minutes until the army led by Uther arrives. It's actually not very difficult. It is important to quickly start building up the passages with Watchtowers, 5-6 per passage. It is especially worth strengthening the passage leading to the west, since this is where the undead warriors will mainly come from. The second action will be the simultaneous construction of an army and a second row of defensive structures. The second row refers to the Gun Turrets. They should be placed at the western and northwestern passages (there will be little disturbance along it, but it will face the final onslaught of the undead.). The army is necessary to repel the attacks of the Corpse Trucks and to complete the additional task that you will be given in a few minutes.

A caravan with infected grain will go along the western (and then northern) edge of the map. Your task is to stop him before he leaves the map. For your convenience, several villages through which the caravan will pass are marked. Passing through the village, the caravan destroys it, which can be taken as a guide. Therefore, two or three villages before it leaves the map, it is quite possible to recruit troops to attack the caravan and intercept it. But... it’s better not to delay this, and, having built up the army to 12 people (three can be obtained by going to the south-eastern corner of the map, there three peasants are converted into Infantrymen), go along the edge of the map to the south-western corner, where through 10 minutes after the start of the mission a caravan will appear. There are 2 Necromancers, 4 Corpse Carts and about 6 Ghouls. Simply, passing through the village, they destroy the inhabitants, turning them into Zombies. And this whole crowd will attack you at the end of the mission. And so, instead of another crowd of the enemy, you will receive an artifact with +4 to Strength and Intelligence and a Town Portal scroll.

The enemy's main attacks will occur 2-3 minutes before the end. But if someone held out, then Uther will arrive with the cavalry and show Kuzka’s mother to the undead.

Chapter six. The Culling

The fortuneteller tries to explain to Arthas the right path, but he does not believe him that these lands cannot be saved. He doesn't listen to Jaina's words either. He still believes that the undead can be defeated easily and painlessly.

Following this, he quarrels with Uther and removes him from command. Jaina leaves with Uther. And the prince is sure that the undead can be dealt with by cutting out everyone who is infected with them. Today we have to clean out the city of Stratholme...

Everything is actually much simpler. When you destroy 100 zombies, the mission ends. Zombies live in houses in the city, 4 at a time. And you don’t have to look at the fact that the houses are neutral. We must destroy them. After destruction, the desired zombies will come out of the house. Mal'Ganis does the same thing, only he teleports these zombies to his territory.

Quickly rebuild the base, blocking the lower entrance to it with several towers. Recruit about 8 fighters led by the prince and send them to the city to destroy houses. It is important that the squad consists mainly of freshly received Knights and Archers. Mal'Ganis will soon appear and do the same. Your party has enough strength to destroy him. Now a timer will appear showing how much time is left until the next appearance of Mal'Ganis to the people. Do not get involved in battles with the enemy base in the southwestern corner of the map. At this time, control the situation at your base, making sure that the incoming enemy does not destroy your defensive structures. And build a second batch. If necessary, destroy Mal'Ganis a second time (note that he recovers no less than other heroes). The third time (especially if you have already launched a second batch into the city) is no longer necessary. He simply won't keep up with you.

And the prince will be glad that he “liberated” another city. But Mal'Ganis disappeared, and the prince followed him.

But there aren't that many roads, and the first real turn will be near the eastern edge of the map. Seeing a gold mine, the prince will want to establish a base here and will immediately bring three peasants. However, he will immediately be attacked by the gnomes, who mistakenly mistook him for the undead. However, the Dwarves quickly realize their mistake, and their hero Muradin happily joins you, helping you with the Barracks, Helicopter, 3 Gunners, and himself, the Level 5 Mountain King. But he asks in return to complete a task - to save his people.

The mini-base of these people is located in the northeastern corner of the map and contains a gold mine and a number of troops on its territory. Saving them is an optional process, but after saving them, the Siege Tank will join you and you will have the opportunity to build this fighting machine.

For now, relax and start strengthening the base: a row of Towers along its northwestern contour. They are especially needed given the frequent raids of enemy aircraft. After creating protective barriers, build 2-3 Mortars and go north. The mortars and the forces that you already have should be enough to even take out the enemy base without any losses.

Get another base at your disposal, complete all the upgrades, add a few more troops (just a little) and go gut the last enemy base in the northwest. But Mal’Ganis is not there... Meanwhile, Arthas hears for the first time about Frostmourne, the legendary sword.

Chapter eight. Dissension

Lord Uther manages to persuade King Terenis to withdraw his troops from the futile expedition. In Arthas' absence, an emissary arrives and informs the troops. However, their path is blocked by hordes of undead, and the troops decide to go through the forest. But Arthas does not agree to give up so easily and decides to burn the ships, and, when the troops still remain, defeat the undead. And the winners are not judged.

We take both heroes and 2 Mortars in our teeth and move along the path offered to us, destroying the enemy. You need to move quickly, and how well Arthas has developed his healing talent plays a big role. But not everything is as bad as it might seem at the beginning. On our hero’s path, he will meet several Mercenary Camps and other similar neutral buildings where he can buy troops. Buy archers, bearing in mind that somewhere in the middle of the path you will meet several dragons. Another tricky point on the map is the grove next to the Goblin Shop (in front of the third ship). To destroy it, siege weapons are needed. Therefore, if you have lost your Mortars, you will have to purchase from the Goblins. There will be dragons right behind the third ship. And a little further away there will be a road, along the edges of which there are towers. If you have enough time, it’s better to take them down. If not, run. But keep in mind that only one hero will pass.

As a result, the cunning prince will blame everything on the surviving mercenaries, posing as a benefactor and savior of the ships. And the army will have to continue its journey along foreign shores.

Chapter Nine. Frostmourn

Even Muradin begins to be surprised at how Arthas gives a damn about everything, going towards his goal. But Arthas convinces him to help find the blade, explaining his fixation on revenge by the fact that Muradin did not see what the undead did to Arthas' homeland.

And it is enough to revive the Cult of the Damned, and everything will fall into place. The prince, whose soul is stolen by a sword made by the Lich King, agrees...

To complete the mission, the prince is given 2 Ghouls, although, to be honest, he doesn’t really need them. The Shadow encountered a little later will be much more necessary. She is useful because no one can see her now, and she can scout any territory. Therefore, first the Shadow determines where the desired “red peasants” are located, who become Servants when approaching, and then the prince runs near them, after which they are converted into Servants and teleported. You must carefully avoid military clashes - the prince still has little strength, but there are too many enemies. Already the second or third Servant will give the prince information about the cemetery.

In the cemetery, which is in front of the gate to the city center, there are several Ghouls and Skeletons. They don’t stand there like idols; you need to go to the cemetery so that they crawl out of the ground and attack opponents (if Arthas dragged them on his tail). Tichondrius is pleased with the prince. And he sends him to revive Kel’Thuzad, who had previously become a victim of the prince.

Hit them one at a time and everything will be fine. This especially applies to the group of Infantrymen stationed in front of the cemetery. If you run into trouble, the Paladin will come out and heal them, which is not great. We quietly lure them out and kill the untreated ones. And then we deal with the Paladin himself.

Kel'Thuzad is saved, and the old stump immediately tries to remind him that he promised to meet again and turned out to be right. But that's not all. Tichondrius appears and announces that everything is fine, but the unfortunate Kel’Thuzad will not survive the long campaign and will crumble to dust. In this case, nothing will help him. Apparently, these ashes are lost without a trace. Therefore, a recommendation was made to catch some Paladin, take away the sacred urn from him and pour the ashes there. It seems like ashes can be stored in an urn forever.

There are three paladins. One is cooler than the other. And the most powerful is the great Uther. I'll tell you a secret - he has an urn. Killing a level 10 Paladin is not very easy, so you will have to build a large army. But for this purpose you were transferred to a very large gold mine. Paladins are very relaxed about the security process and do not patrol the surrounding area, so the base does not need to be guarded. But you will have to build a large army and one by one demolish all three Paladin bases to the west of your base. And do not forget about the human dirty trick with the conversion of Peasants into the Militia.

Chapter three. Into the Realm Eternal

To “assemble” Kel’Thuzad, some kind of elven item was needed. Therefore, the next visit is to the High Elves. Kel'Thuzad warns the prince, saying that the elves can be dangerous. But the prince does not listen to him, intending to deal with them “with one left.”

Quickly set up your base, fortunately there is someone to do it. To the troops that you received in the previous mission, a couple of Necromancers were also added, so everything is generally great. The only question that arises is where to go. In fact, an S-shaped route is supposed, and this letter is turned in the opposite direction (you will have to go east first). Prepare your Corpse Carts in advance, since all the elves' paths are blocked by the forest and you will have to knock out these Barricades. In total, on the way to the main, target base, three more await you, increasing in strength as you progress. But with Necromancers and a sufficient army you shouldn't have any problems. There are no tricks here - just a stupid assault with large forces.

Chapter Four. Key of the Three Moons

The first elven gate was destroyed, but there was also a second, internal one, which also must be demolished in order to get to the elven treasures. But they need a key, and the elves are unlikely to give it up of their own free will.

Undead combat formations.

Just south of where you find yourself is a gold mine. True, it is guarded by a detachment of elves with all sorts of evil birds, but in vain, perhaps, in this mission they gave you Demonic Spiders. Therefore, demolish all the buildings and elf warriors and establish a base here. Prepare for the fact that the enemy will often come to visit you, so build a powerful air defense.

You yourself are now on a map that represents islands separated from each other. But from the three islands on which the altars are located, there are portals to the central island that connects them all. But in order to still get somewhere, east of your base you will receive 2 Goblin Airships and can purchase more of them (if necessary).

The main strategy here is simple - accumulate forces and go to storm the next enemy base. The first one is from Airships. Then a production base is built in its place, and the next two elven bases are attacked through portals. But keep in mind: when you get to the central island, the elves will begin to attack themselves, emerging from the portals. Therefore, it would not hurt to build a defensive bastion of several towers on the central island, so that your army does not come under attack every time and does not arrive at its destination in a very battered state.

But especially for this mission, you are assigned a mobile squad of four Gargoyles. The next messenger is sent in 3 and a half minutes. But to make your fate easier, the Gargoyles were placed on one of his paths, and no matter which path he ran, he illuminated his path. Therefore, destroying the messenger is not at all difficult.

It's time to complete the first additional task. Since Silvanas has huddled in the center of the city and doesn’t really want to die, she will have to raze the small town to the ground. Just bring a sufficient number of soldiers and military equipment there. But after the death of this heroine, you will have a new unit - Banshee. True, the elves now have no one to win over to their side, but still a Banshee is a necessary thing.

All that remains is to raze the main city of the elves in the south of the map. It is huge, but most of the buildings are houses of civilians. However, these houses also need to be demolished. Because “civilians” are very fond of helping elf military units, tormenting your rear. No mercy! But when you destroy the last guards of Sunwell, you will find the revived Kel'Thuzad in the form of a Lich. The Force is with you!

Only now was the grandiose plan of the undead revealed to Arthas. After all, even his rise as a human fighter was planned and corresponded to the first part of the plan. The second part of the plan is coming - summoning a demon lord to this world, who will bring with him countless hordes of the undead. But to call you need to contact him through the portal. Therefore, we will slaughter the orcs one by one. Moreover, even with the strongest defense, it is necessary to create an army as soon as possible that will go to cut out one of the clans. And the orcs are there if you go in any direction. For greater success, your army was given monsters such as Frost Worms. So create 3-4 Worms, and not very strong orc bases will fall at your feet. The attack of the red orcs must be carried out with the support of aviation (Gargoyles) and Demonic Spiders, since the enemy has the ability to summon dragons from the dragon roost located in their camp. At least two guard the camp. And if you succeed, you can also use Banshee on enemy dragons. Again, the mission is to fight off everyone, and then crush the enemy with your army.

Chapter seven. The Siege of Dalaran

Using his “mobile connection,” Arthas received instructions to follow to Dalaran, where it would be possible to summon the Demon Lord. So don’t get carried away by the first reports of an attack and pay attention to everything. In addition, there will be many branches. Small groups of centaurs sit in them. You can quite easily not touch them at all. You can get some good stuff from them (artifacts, potions), but most often your troops will simply die there, and this will be of little use.

Three more Soldiers will join you near the first source. A good replacement for Troll Hunters, who have probably already been shot. Use Phantom Wolves in a timely manner, which are relatively inexpensive, and their benefits are an order of magnitude greater than Chain Lightning (it works well with excess mana and full development). In large dumps, Signs of Healing can help. Three Riders will join you near the Goblin Store. Help too. Buy a mana potion and scrolls or vials of treatment there and continue on your way. If there are not enough resources in your gold mine, use the gold mine on one of the destroyed enemy bases.

As a result of the destruction of all enemy bases, you will find yourself in front of the passage to the Goblin Laboratory. Two more squads of centaurs (not serious) and a squad of harpies will stand on your way. But for the latter, it is advisable to stock up on a large number of Riders. The invasion through the southern entrance will begin earlier, but as soon as the situation normalizes a little, pay attention to the northern entrance to the base. Greater forces will come there than from the south, and everything can be very bad. Having repelled the attack, restore the defense and even further build it up. After fighting several groups of enemies, you will reach a portal that will take you to another part of the forest. There, following a no less winding path, you will reach the Well of Chaos. His guards are strong, but not stronger than your troops. Destroy them and approach the Well.

Wow, Groma and most of the orcs have undergone changes! They became Chaos Orcs. What does it mean? They can now penetrate all sorts of enemy defenses, becoming a great threat to Cenarius.

No matter what anyone says, Cenarius is a very cunning hero. He sits on a mountain surrounded by 3 elf villages, and when they are attacked, he descends. But he enters the battlefield only when the enemy is almost defeated, and only finishes him off. This is greatly facilitated by the Druids of the Claw accompanying him with their Tornadoes. Therefore, it is still advisable to cut out one village (although not on the first try). Then he can be provoked to attack, but you definitely need to prepare accordingly. To attack, you will need to have a “bait” from a detachment of Riders or Soldiers numbering 9-10 units. In front of the “bait” you can place an Immobility Trap from the Troll Healer. The bait should be accompanied by 5-6 Catapults, which “treat” Cenarius himself poorly, but treat his accompanying people well. And a reserve of 9-10 Soldiers should be hiding in the bushes. With “bait” you need to lure the enemy to the site of the former base (preferably the southern one), attacking another base and retreating. When Cenarius arrives, his escorts will heavily treat the “bait”, and most of the soldiers will rest one way or another. This is where the reserve comes into play. The entire reserve should be under your command and attack Cenarius himself. It is better to add Thunder himself to the reserve in order to successfully use his special abilities. For now you have little strength, and you need to rebuild the base, paying special attention to its northern outskirts. It is from the north that the Goblin Airships will fly in and bring with them human paratroopers. If you shoot down those that belong to the base located at the peak, it will be easier due to the fact that there will be nothing to fly to. But having built a sufficient number of troops, you can think about wyverns. Both heroes are currently level 6, and if necessary, use their ability points.

When you have enough fighters to repel enemy sabotage and for your own sabotage, then move north-west from the base with Cairn, Thrall and a detachment of Riders. There you will find a group of harpies, from whom you will be able to extort where the captive wyverns are before the fight. Continue to follow this passage north, destroying enemy units. Just keep in mind that when attacking the harpy camp, you must have a full squad, otherwise the attack will fail. But after this, Wyverns will appear in your ranks.

The second additional task is performed in a similar way. Somewhere in the middle of the path to the enemy bases there is a group of centaurs, killing whom you will receive the sculpture you need. That's just the point of this fountain (it's west of the base)... You left it a long time ago. And running to heal across the entire map is a bit crooked.

Establish your checkpoint a little short of the destroyed centaur camp and from there attack the base under the mountain. She is quite weak and will not survive a proper attack (Tauren + Catapult). There is very little left - to demolish the base at the peak. To do this, we build another checkpoint right under the mountain (so that the Griffins do not disturb) and move a couple of Workers to the edge of the mountain. By airship, of course. There we quickly build another checkpoint with 4-5 Towers, after which we drop troops from a couple of Airships. It is better to do this in a corner covered with forest, on the eastern edge of the mountain. Attack from there. The best composition of the party - Taurens and Catapults are dismantled below, Wyverns neutralize enemy aircraft. It's unlikely that the battle will be very long.
