Rules of the game

Each game consists of five rounds. The participant in each round is asked five questions on behalf of the viewer. Questions do not have answer options, they need to be answered as quickly as possible, since only 4 minutes are allotted for one round (5 rounds). If in the first round he can afford not to answer four questions out of five, then in the last round he must answer all. If the player does not know the answer, he can either say “pass”, while the answer to the question will be announced by the host, but will not be counted as a correct answer, or ask for a “replacement question” (see below). The player has the right to "pass" a limited number of times, inversely proportional to the number of questions in the round. When you manage to go through all five rounds, the game starts over again - you can play indefinitely until the player gives the wrong answer, or if he does not change his mind about playing further.

The amount that the participant receives for each completed round is constantly increasing:

After passing all 5 rounds, the participant earns 50,000 rubles, which are a fireproof amount and are added to the "bank". The player will not lose this money in any case.

If the player gives an incorrect answer, the game stops and the participant must share the money he has earned (everything except those in the “bank”) with the viewer who sent this question in the “Gong Game”. If the participant made a mistake when answering the question of the very first round, the “Gong Game” is not held (since there is nothing to share), the viewer is guaranteed to receive 500 rubles.

"Gong Game"

"Gong Game" has 3 options, one of which is absolutely safe for the player, as it does not contain a gong signal. the other two "gong" will sound, but when exactly is unknown.

The participant puts his hand on the button, pressing which means the end of the "gong game". A nasty computer voice calls the amounts in random order, but gradually increasing within the amount of the round that the participant passed - “ten rubles”, “fifty-five rubles”, “one hundred and thirty-six rubles”, etc.

Gong game results

"Gong Game" terminates automatically upon the occurrence of any of the following events:

  • If the player breaks down and presses the button, the spectator receives the difference between the amount being played and the amount at which the game was stopped. Then the game goes "for fun": the host shows the player what would have happened if he had not pressed the button, even if this stage contained a "gong" signal.
  • If the computer named the amount that was played in the "gong game", the participant who chose the win-win option leaves the viewer without money.
  • If the "gong" sounded, the viewer takes all the money played, and the player leaves the game with nothing or with a fireproof amount in the "bank".

Replacement Questions

"Replacement Questions"- a detail of the game that can help the participant if he does not know the correct answer to the question. Often used predominantly in the 5th round, where "pass" cannot be said. Before the game, each participant chooses for himself the area of knowledge in which he feels like a real connoisseur (for example, “ meat dishes”, “History of Russia of the 18th century”, etc.). The participant has the right to ask a substitution question 3 times per game. With the beginning of a new circle, “substitution questions” are restored. Usually, participants choose topics for themselves in which they are very well versed, although many players “cut off” just on these issues. The player has the right to "replace" the question again, if he has such an opportunity.

final siren

Just like in the TV game Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, there was a Final Siren that marked one of two events:

  • Time delay if (4 minutes) allotted for the game has expired. In this case, the round will automatically be considered lost.
  • End of program time. If he continues to play, this will not affect the position of the participant in any way - with the current result, he will continue to play in the next game.

Big wins

  • In the entire history of the show in Russia, two participants were able to earn a prize of more than 200,000 rubles after completing 4 rounds of the game.
  • Olga Kostenko from the city of Vidnoe received the biggest prize - 209,500 rubles.

Data

  • In one of the episodes on Channel One, during the game, thanks to a fly that suddenly appeared in the studio, the participant, brushing it off, accidentally pressed the button, thereby stopping the “gong game” in the amount of 250 rubles, although the amount was played out much more - 2500 rubles. As it turned out later, the “gong game” option she chose turned out to be a win-win.
  • Exist computer games like the game "People against" - these are "Easy money" and "Game for a million."

People against (TV game) Information About

16) It's game time "People against". At first, she appeared on Channel One, and Dmitry Dibrov led the game. Subsequently, the program moved to Ren-TV and Alexander Miloserdov became the new host. Then the program completely stalled. Overall though, the game was pretty good.

Essence.

The main slogan of the game was Dibrov's statement: "The people are against" - the only TV quiz show in which the winnings are not limited. That is, here we will not be able to determine the maximum payoff.

The game consists of an unlimited number of cycles, and in each cycle you can earn 50,000 rubles. But everything is in order.

Each cycle has the following tree:

The player starts the cycle from scratch. Each step asks 5 questions. In order to rise to the first step (and earn a thousand), you need to correctly answer only one question out of five. The second step requires 2 correct answers, the third - three, the fourth - 4, and the fifth - all five.

Each cycle takes 4 minutes. Time is counted only during the process of voicing questions and answering them. When time runs out, the player loses.

If there are still enough questions ahead, the player may refuse to answer by saying the word "Pass". For example, in the first stage, you can pass four times.

In order to make life easier for the player, he is offered three substitutions. Three times per cycle, the player may refuse to answer and ask to replace the question with another one from the area previously specified by him. A new question can also be replaced. In the next cycle, all replacements are restored.

However, the game continues until the player's first incorrect answer. At the same time, the player is forced to play the “gong game” with the money that he has earned before. In the event of the expiration of the time allotted for the cycle, the player also participates in the gong game. But in my memory, such cases did not happen.

It is worth noting that in this game, as in the ChGK, questions are sent by viewers. That part of the money that the player loses in the gong game, the editors will send to the viewer - the author of the question, which turned out to be fatal. If the player answered incorrectly to the replacement question (which the editors themselves come up with), then the game is played with the viewer whose question was replaced.

If the player did not manage to earn anything (that is, he made a mistake at the first stage), then 500 rubles are simply sent to the winning viewer, and the gong game is not played.

So, at the beginning of the gong game, the player chooses one of three options for its development. In two versions there is a "gong", and in the third it is not. The player, of course, does not know the number of the safe option and chooses at random.

Further, the player's winnings begin to grow gradually - from zero to the amount that the player had at the time of the mistake. Growth is in leaps and bounds. At any time, the player can click on a special button and stop the game, taking what he has already been credited. and the viewer gets the rest of the winnings. You can take risks and not press the button, hoping for the maximum amount.

However, at any given time, two versions of the three can sound a gong. In this case, all the player's winnings burn out, and the player leaves with nothing. The viewer will get everything.

Upon reaching 50,000, this amount becomes fireproof, and the player has the right to play again and again until he makes a mistake or gets bored.

That's basically the whole game.

Interesting moments.

Some student managed to get to the fifth cycle and made a mistake on the question "Which continent was called terra australia incognita". She ended up making 209 something like a thousand

Let's analyze the game.

Players are initially not equal in opportunities, as the player in the studio and the viewers compete. The idea is similar to the CHK.

By type of opposing sides - Single player game, because every viewer plays for himself.

By the number of attempts to play - one-time.

The duration of the game is an hour, then half an hour.

The frequency of appearance on the air - 5 times a week in good times.

The density of new players is somewhere around 4 players per game.

Strategies: The player must determine when to take risks and when to take substitutions. First, it is better, of course, to win back all the basic questions and only in case of emergency, move on to substitutions.

We need to think whether it is worth going to the next stages or limiting ourselves to the already existing winnings. However, such a question disappears when the player has already won a couple of cycles - the losses in case of an incorrect answer will be small.

Diversity. By the way, there are an infinite number of outcomes here :). However, most of the players lose in the first cycle. And often watching a gong game is a rather annoying sight, as it has little to do with intelligence.

There are a lot of questions in the game, from 15 to 25 per cycle. On average, the game asks about 100 questions.

Subjective opinion and results:

The spectacle would be more dynamic. if Dibrov did not repeat the detailed rules of the game at the beginning of each cycle. In addition, he constantly repeated at the end of each stage how much the player had won, how many substitutions he had left and time. It irritated me terribly.

The time limit is pretty annoying. One player has only 2 seconds left for the fifth stage! Of course, he took the money and stopped the game. You could just limit the time for the stage.

Gong game - good thriller, but using it too often is tiring. There are games when players change each other very quickly, and the number of these games is large.

The idea of a gong game - to push two people sharing the same money - is disgusting to me personally. Thank God, many players simply stopped the game in the middle in order to equally share the winnings with the viewer.

General output for the future: the game gives many examples of what not to do. It is not necessary, for example, to constantly tell the rules. This can be useful in the early days of the game, and later on you can tell the rules only briefly at the beginning of the game.

The game should not go to the first mistake. Should not, and that's it :).

But it is clear that if viewers are allowed to write questions, then, firstly, this saves the editors themselves from this hard work :), and secondly, it increases the interest of viewers in the game. A person will turn on the TV just to check if his question will play today. Please note: there are much more spectators in one game than in the ChGK.

Of course, questions from the audience is an optional element, but it can be provided at least partially. For example, in one round or a question, or a sector: “Question from a TV viewer”, etc. It is necessary to increase interactivity with the audience in the studio, we have already talked about this. Also, we must not forget about those sitting in front of the screens.

It is also necessary to turn the action in such a way that the viewer is not interested in writing "coffins" (obviously unacceptable questions). Let's say, say that difficult questions will be screened out.

Let everyone who watches become a participant in the game! And even if his role is small, the very fact of participation is a reason for pride :).

Additions.

Larisa: Here I won on the question about Marie Curie, as a viewer.

VVV: That's for sure. Since the game was played during the day, I recorded it and watched it in the evening. And the gong game, I remember, squandered on fast playback.

Ligeia: I also played this toy, only in its Georgian version (the maximum win was only 1500 lari - about 750 dollars). I still can’t forgive myself for cutting off on the last question, confusing Chernenko with Andropov (namely, the years of their reign) :-(((Although most of all I was afraid to answer incorrectly on some philological question (the game was in Georgian language)

And I never used two questions from the hint topic (Verdi Opera) :-(((for some reason:-(((

Larisa: Guy Kuznetsov and Lyudmila Nelipa participated in it

Nikolaev N.: And Pavel Naumovich Dobkin, as far as I remember.

"People Against"(eng. "The People Versus") - game show. Appeared on Western television relatively recently and immediately gained popularity - this is the only quiz in which the participant's winnings are unlimited. The authors of the questions are viewers.

The Russian version of the game premiered on February 26, 2002 on Channel One, hosted by Dmitry Dibrov. In February 2003, the game was released with a new presenter - Alexander Miloserdov on the REN-TV channel, but did not last long.

Rules of the game

Each game consists of five rounds. The participant in each round is asked five questions on behalf of the viewer. The question has no answer options, you need to answer it as quickly as possible, since only 4 minutes are allotted for one circle (5 rounds). If in the first round he can afford not to answer four questions out of five, then in the last round he must answer all. If you manage to go through all five rounds, the game starts again - you can play indefinitely.

The amount that the participant receives for each completed round is constantly increasing:

RoundCost, rub.)
5 50 000
4 15 000
3 5 000
2 2 500
1 1 000

After passing all 5 rounds, the participant earns 50,000 rubles, which are a fireproof amount and are added to the "bank". The player will not lose this money no matter what happens.

In case of an incorrect answer, the participant must share the money he has earned (everything except for those in the “bank”) with the viewer who sent the question to the “Gong Game”. If the participant made a mistake when answering one of the questions of the very first round, the “Gong Game” is not held (since there is nothing to share), the viewer is guaranteed to receive 500 rubles.

"Gong Game"

"Gong Game" has 3 options, one of which is absolutely safe for the player, as it does not contain a gong signal. In the other two, the “gong” will sound, but when exactly is unknown.

The participant puts his hand on the button, pressing which means the end of the "gong game". The computer voice calls the amounts, gradually increasing - "ten rubles", "fifty-five rubles", "one hundred and thirty-six rubles", etc.

If the player presses the button, the game stops. In this case, the spectator receives the difference between the amount played and the amount on which the participant stopped. If the computer named the amount that was played in the “gong game”, this means that the participant chose the win-win option of the “gong game” and leaves the viewer without money. If at some stage the “gong” still sounds, this means that the viewer takes all the money played in the “gong game”.

Replacement Questions

Another part of the game "replacement questions". Before the game, each participant chooses for himself the area of knowledge in which he feels like a real connoisseur (for example, “meat dishes”, “history of Russia in the 18th century”, etc.), the editors make up 3 substitution questions for each round of the game for each player. In the case when "pass" cannot be said, the player can ask for a substitution question. Although the participants choose topics for themselves in which they are very well versed, many players “cut off” just on these issues.

Winners

In the entire history of the show in Russia, two participants were able to earn a prize of more than 200,000 rubles after completing 4 rounds of the game.

  • In one of the episodes on Channel One, during the game, thanks to a fly that suddenly appeared in the studio, the participant, brushing it off, accidentally pressed the button, thereby stopping the “gong game” in the amount of 250 rubles, although the amount was played out much more
  • Olga Kostenko from the city of Vidnoe received the biggest prize - 209,500 rubles.
  • There are computer games similar to the game "People Against" - these are "Easy Money" and "Game for a Million".

- Dmitry, why did you decide to host a TV game again?

- Three years ago, when I was invited to "Oh, lucky!", I resisted. “I am obliged to serve the intellectuals at night!” I thought. They dragged me: at least come and see! And then, six months after the start of the game, we achieved such a rating! Those are the five Greeds! I realized that the game is not a primitive occupation. Forty years, and I receive all the lessons, thank you Lord. Snobbery is fatal because it narrows the mind. It turned out that in the game I do the same thing that I do in Anthropology and Night Shift. I study human nature. She used to be boring at times, but sometimes she put me in a paradoxical position. Both there and here I was looking for unexpected twists in the fabric that I wove in front of the audience. And there, and here I found the same pattern that makes the presenter mega-popular. Your main character— not you perishing, of course. And not the one sitting opposite you. But the one in slippers is sitting at the screen. If you understand that this is the main thing, you will be freed from many boring mistakes of neophytes. You will no longer be interested in how you look, and whether everyone sees your dignity. If you are put in an idiotic situation at the gaming table, you will win: the viewer will never disconnect from this program.

- Don't you think that there are already enough TV games on television?

There have always been TV games. A few years ago, when the empire was collapsing, it seemed to us that it was time to do journalism. And then ... journalist Vladislav Listyev made a game that is a form of public "balda". Everyone was horrified: it's time for journalism, you have to think about how to get Russia out of the impasse, and you're playing "balda"? And six months later, who just did not cling to the "Field of Miracles"! As soon as Sergei Kordo, who brought to Russia "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?", "The Weak Link" and now the new game "People Against", make "Lucky", a boom began in the country intellectual games. The graphomaniacs began to come up with scenarios. They still send me scripts of new and new programs by e-mail. How do you explain to these people that coming up with a game is like writing a symphony? You have to live and work in this shop. In England such a workshop exists, we do not.

- You have already developed a position for new game?

- We developed it with the director of all popular games on our television Tatyana Dmitrakova. This game and I are made for each other. The whole country is involved in it. Any viewer can win!

- Do not be afraid that you will be compared with Dibrov from " night shift"Or with Dibrov, who is still remembered from "Lucky"?

- Of course they will! It's great if there are any similarities. And what's wrong if the lady with whom you go to the registry office resembles the old one with whom you left the registry office three months ago? You loved that one, and you love that one.

— What can you tell about the new TV game?

- It will be a super project. The whole country will play against the one who ended up in the studio. Add to this amazing space scenery, and also interactive - and you will see what kind of candy it will be!

The game consists of unlimited rounds of rounds. There are five rounds in one round. The participant in each round is asked five questions on behalf of the viewer. Questions do not have answer options, they need to be answered as quickly as possible, since only 4 minutes are allotted for all 5 rounds of one circle. If the player does not know the answer, he can either say “pass”, in which case the answer to the question will be announced by the host, but will not be counted as incorrect, or ask for a “replacement question” (see below). The player has the right to “pass” in each round of rounds a limited number of times, which decreases with the number of the round (from four times in the first round to zero times in the last).

The amount earned by the participant for each completed round is constantly increasing:

If the participant manages to pass all five rounds of one circle, he receives 50 thousand rubles, which are added to the “bank” and are a “fireproof amount”. In addition, he can start the game again (the next round of questions of five rounds with four minutes) and thus play indefinitely until he gives a wrong answer or changes his mind about playing further, taking the money won for the entire game. The rules and winnings of all rounds of rounds are the same. You can refuse to continue the game before the start of any round (except the very first one at the beginning of the game).

Replacement Questions

"Replacement Questions"- a detail of the game that can help the participant if he does not know the correct answer to the question. Often used mainly in the 5th round, where it is impossible to "pass". Before the game, each participant chooses for himself the area of knowledge in which he feels like a real connoisseur (for example, “meat dishes”, “history of Russia in the 18th century”, etc.). The participant has the right to ask for a substitution question three times during the entire game of one round of five rounds. With the beginning of a new circle, “substitution questions” are restored. Usually, participants choose topics for themselves in which they are very well versed, although many players “cut off” just on these issues. The player has the right to "replace" the question again, if he has such an opportunity.

"Gong Game"

"Gong Game" has 3 options, one of which is absolutely safe for the player, as it does not contain a gong signal. In the other two, the “gong” will sound, but when exactly is unknown.

The participant chooses a variant of the game (not knowing which of them is without a gong), puts his hand on the button, pressing which means the end of the "gong game". The computer voice calls the amounts in random order, but gradually increasing within the limits of the amount of the round that the participant went through - “ten rubles”, “one hundred and twenty rubles”, “eight hundred and eighteen rubles”, etc.

Gong game results

"Gong Game" terminates automatically upon the occurrence of any of the following events:

  • If the player presses the button at any time. In this case, the viewer receives the difference between the amount being played and the amount at which the game is stopped, and then the game goes “for fun”: The host shows the player what would have happened if he had not pressed the button.
  • If the computer named the amount played in the "gong game". This means that the participant has chosen a win-win option and leaves the viewer without money.
  • If the "gong" sounded. In this case, the viewer takes the amount of money being played, and the player leaves the game with nothing or with a fireproof amount in the "bank".
