How to play payday 2 controls. Further progress of the operation

Introduction

Payday 2 is a simulator of bank robbery, jewelry store hacking and much more. It's as much fun as it is illegal, but it's not as easy as it looks in TV series and movies; it takes practice and well-coordinated teamwork.

Payday 2 is not a light, fast-paced game, but we've put together plenty of tips and tricks to help you in your challenging criminal career. We will talk about the basics of the game, the roles you can perform in crimes.

Game Basics

Below is a list general advice for all types of robberies.

When you just start playing, don’t rush to leave the shelter. Take a moment to practice the basic mechanics of the game. Practice opening doors, cracking safes, and firing your gun in a calm environment, not during a robbery. This will help you not lose the game in the first moments.

When a robbery begins - especially in a new place for you, it will take time to begin to navigate the situation. The last thing you should do is rush. Even if it's a simple order, like robbing a jewelry store or bank, things can go wrong if there isn't a clear and consistent plan. Find out the location of the money, guards and cameras before putting on your mask and starting the heist.

Remember that doors can be opened in several ways. You can always use picks, but using a saw and C4 can get the job done much faster. A door locked with a key card can be opened by an ECM-jammer.

After capture, do not forget to tie the hands of civilians, this will turn them into hostages. The more hostages you have, the more careful the police assault will be.

When drilling the safe door, don't go too far. The drill often breaks and needs to be restarted. In addition, if no one is near the drill, the police may seize it and turn it off.

There is a bug where you can pick up items and revive killed teammates through walls. Don't forget this if getting to an object or person will take longer than just performing an action through a wall. If possible, use it, it will save time.

Using bottlenecks good strategy in any shootout. For example, such a bottleneck could be a room with one entrance in which you are fortified. This will force the police to attack you from only one side. Such a room will allow your team to hold off the assault for a long time. This is also an ideal place to drop off medic bags and ammo.

Learn to pass bags in a chain rather than carrying them individually. It’s much faster to pick it up and throw it to your partner, who will pass it further down the chain, than to run back and forth with bags. But if the number of bags is equal to the number of squad members, then you can simply carry them.

Most quests offer the opportunity to grab additional loot. If you're confident that you're in control of the situation and are in full control, grab a couple extra bags of loot. Look carefully for extra money and jewelry. While you are waiting for a van or holding off the onslaught of the police, you can collect them and receive an additional bonus after completing the order.

Lastly, don't be afraid to play online! Playing solo limits your team to three teammates and the AI of the bots cannot match the level of play of even a mediocre player. Even if you are a newbie, you can help a couple of Payday 2 veterans complete the task well.

Perks- additional abilities that increase health, armor, evasion and other indicators. Some of them affect the entire team. Each specialty has 9 perks.

PayDay 2- it’s not an easy thing. Within the framework of this material, an attempt will be made to show from the correct side some gaming aspects that will primarily be of interest to those who are not yet familiar with this game.

First, let's start with the menu; fortunately, it is so diverse, if not confusing, that it is worth stopping at. Firstly, do not be upset if you are not accepted to perform certain missions, since in order to complete them you are required to have a certain amount of money confirming your skill. No money - no tasks. Now let's move on, straight down the list.
Crime.net. This is your basic starting point. Click on it and see an extensive map with a bunch of tasks that either disappear or appear. Before completing the task, you can use a special filter that will configure your game in a special way. For example, you can choose the people who can join you, the complexity, etc. It must be said right away that this moment the game does not have a Russian language, although the Steam online store will tell you otherwise, don’t believe it. Everything is in English and even without subtitles, so some knowledge of the language will be required.

In this mode we play only online, but this does not mean that you will certainly be accompanied by characters behind whom are real players; often and densely the game will develop in such a way that, despite being online, you run from beginning to end in the company of a couple of bots .

Crime.net Offline. Same as regular Crime.net, but without the need for an internet connection. Play to your heart's content in single player, get comfortable in the game, command bots and don't worry about looking awkward in the eyes of other players. Paradoxically, playing offline is much more difficult than playing online. Practice shows that no matter how poor a team is, it is still better than two loyal but stupid bots. However, the undeniable advantage of offline is that bots will definitely heal you and lift you off the ground, albeit at the cost of their own life, which cannot be said about real players.

Shelter. This is your, so to speak, “raspberry”, or, if you like, “blat-khata”. Since in this game we are bandits, we should use exclusively bandit terms, albeit from domestic Jewish jargon. In general, a shelter is a shelter. The money you stole is stored here, here you can practice a little in breaking doors and safes, here you can shoot weapons and look at global map future actions. In general, a boring location, nothing to say.

Now let's move closer to the characters themselves, to the game itself.

There are skills in the game. Here you can become a technician, a strongman, a ghost or an inspiration. Skills are upgraded using money that you, so to speak, have earned. In terms of skills, everything here is so simple and clear that there’s no point in explaining it, the system itself will tell you everything and explain it in your fingertips. The only thing worth noting is that if you are absolutely sure that you will play PayDay 2 in a constant company of friends, then pre-distribute the roles so that everyone plays in a different direction. Why you should do this is probably not worth telling.

Inventory. With the release of each new addition, the game becomes more and more like a role-playing shooter. So, your character has an inventory. A kind of case where he stores weapons, masks and devices. In addition, in your inventory you can select the character class you plan to play as. By the way, improving skills should be done in the inventory; here you can also improve devices and weapons, however, all this is not cheap, so choose upgrades wisely.

Gamehub. This is a specific gaming forum that is unlikely to be of much help to you, a Russian-speaking player.

Well, now let's look at the features of the game itself, the action itself.

Firstly, before completing the contract you will be able to select a difficulty mode. The higher the difficulty, the more money you can earn, but you will also have to try a lot. In general, it should be noted that the game is not easy, and even on the minimum difficulty you will have to be quite nervous. Secondly, here you can preview the layout of the building you will be robbing. Honestly, despite the repeated announcement of this option among players, almost no one takes advantage of this advantage, because it is boring and time-consuming. People prefer to put on a mask and immediately take the bull by the horns.

In general, if you agree with everything, then click “Ready” and start the game.

As soon as we get into the game, we immediately pay attention to the circle at the bottom of the screen. Your armor and lives are shown here. Everything is standard here: first the armor is removed, after which the health goes away. It also shows the amount of ammunition, which is in abundance in the game. It’s enough just to run through the corridors where there are defeated enemies, and you will restore your ammunition.

The first thing that catches your eye after the start is the large number of civilians. There is no need to shoot at them, because for each civilian they will deduct money from you. The more carefully you work, the more you will earn.

Enter the building. Until you put on a mask, you will not be able to run, only walk. But this is enough for us. Try not to attract the attention of police and security guards. Calmly walk through the building, considering what's what, where you need to break down doors, where to shoot back, where the cameras are located, etc. There are many cards of the same type in the game, so there will be confusion and misunderstandings only in the very first hours. After this, you will get used to it and study all the cards, you will know where the money is, where the jewelry is, etc.

Separately, you need to pay attention to the question marks that arise. A question mark is a signal that you are beginning to be suspected of bad things. The final stage of suspicion is a red exclamation mark. If the guard is next to you, you will immediately find yourself in handcuffs. Therefore, do not let the guards get close to you, and as soon as you see that they are starting to suspect you, put on a mask, extinguish the guards with your butt (E key), tie them up (G key), put them on the floor (F key) in general, try to do everything to civilians were unable to call the police for as long as possible. As far as we know, it is impossible to prevent the police from being called at all, but it is quite possible to delay it.

Almost always at the beginning of the game you will be offered something to drill somewhere. While the installation is drilling out the locks, you will have to be on duty nearby in order to restart the system in case of failure. This will have to be done several times. The refusals have nothing to do with anything, just a whim of the developers.

However, they won’t let you deal with the drill calmly, because representatives of law and order will constantly yell at you. At first it will be ordinary lightly armed police, after which real S.W.A.T will come into play. - armored special forces of varying degrees, but more about them a little later. During the shooting process, you will certainly fall a couple of times. If you get dropped three times, it's game over for you. To prevent this from happening, use duffel bags if possible.

As for the opponents, they will attack you spasmodically: at first there are many, then silence, then crowds again, then silence again. It would be superfluous to note that it is better to shoot at the heads. This will make it possible not only to look at flying helmets, but also to quickly eliminate the enemy.
There is no point in catching enemies at respawn points. Or barricade yourself in one of the rooms, where it will be convenient for you to simultaneously monitor the drilling process and shoot back from enemies, covering your back with a wall. However, do not stand right next to the passage, as special forces often throw smoke grenades. Where there is smoke, there is now a squad of policemen. Well, if you are hit by a grenade, the character will also have to wait until the slight concussion wears off.

As you progress, carefully follow the markers. They will not only show you where to run, but also what to do. You will see either a drill or the possibility of hacking or something else. Sometimes these markers will mislead you, showing you goals that you don't need yet, or ones that are not where they actually are. The situation is exactly the same with the proposal to wear a mask. Despite the fact that the system immediately advises you to dress up like at a carnival, you shouldn’t do this right away, because you won’t have time to familiarize yourself with the situation.

Now a few points about the battle itself.

As practice has shown, there is no point in squatting. You will still be hit, but it will be more difficult for you to aim, because in some unknown way, a seated shooter sometimes cannot penetrate a target that is in full view.

Take a place convenient for shooting, but do not move far from the team, because if you play without bots, then if you are knocked down somewhere on the roof, and the whole team is on the ground floor, do not expect that they will come running to you and pick you up.

Some of the most unpleasant opponents are shield warriors. Shooting them head-on is not a promising idea. Here you need to go around from the flank or from the rear and hit their unprotected places.

At the end of the game, after you have made several moves with bags full of money, the whole team will need to stand in the so-called. "Escape" zone. Only then will the system count your victory. If some fool doesn’t want to stand in this very zone, then shout to him with the F key.

It is better to choose automatic, rapid-fire weapons. Shotguns are not as effective here.

Separately, learn to shoot with a weapon. Because there is no sight in the game. It will take a little getting used to this feature.

If you came to this guide, then you have Payday 2. And if not, then go and buy it. I haven't played Payday: The Heist, but they say that Payday 2 differs from the first RPG in elements: skills, weapon upgrades, masks and much more! In this guide I will talk about skills, equipment, Crime.net, enemies and weapons.

Crime.net:

So to speak, the station around which the game itself revolves. It looks like a map and shows the available thefts at the moment, as well as how much they will pay, what the risk is, and who else has taken on this job. A filter is available, thanks to which you can find the robbery in which your friend / friends are participating. Purely online mix, for playing with other robbers from all over the world. If you don't have internet or are alone, then read on.

Crime.net Offline:

It is similar to Crime.net, but with one twist. This component of the game is more suitable for singles and those who like to play with bots. But there is one drawback, along with you there will be only two assistants - bots (Crime.net - 3 assistants), because of which the complexity of the game increases several times. So think about it.

Refuge:

Your shelter and storage. All your earned money, purchased weapons and masks will be stored here, and in the house you can also practice breaking doors, blowing up safes and shooting weapons. If you are ready to go to work, then go to the laptop and press F to move to the Crime.net global map.

Skills:

There are four skill trees in the game: Mastermind, Strongman, Technician, and Ghost. Here you can upgrade your skills for the money you earn. How higher level, the more money is required. Choose wisely and focus on your playstyle. Especially if you are going to play only with friends, then it is better to immediately distribute responsibilities between you.

Inventory:

Your inventory. It will show your weapons, masks, gadgets and bags, and you can also choose which character you will play as. Weapons can be unlocked after gaining the next level or committing a successful theft. Gadgets/bags can be unlocked through the skill tree. Also, here you can buy weapons and upgrades for them. Choose wisely as it is very expensive.

Options:

Do I really need to explain this? Go to options and turn up the settings based on the power of your computer. All.

Gamehub:

Gamehub is the hub of the Payday 2 gaming community. Everything from a jewelry heist to a central bank heist can be discussed here. Also, there are game news and updates from Almira, Bo, and the developers of the OVERKILL mode!

Basics:

Difficulty Modes/Risk Levels:

Difficulty modes: normal, hard, very hard and killer. From Hard difficulty on up, you get little yellow skulls that indicate your risk level. The higher the risk level, the more experience, but at the same time the more enemies. For beginners, I would recommend the normal difficulty level. When you become a higher level and armed, you can try the hard and very hard difficulty levels. The killer level of difficulty is another story. The bottom line is that if you fail the theft on Killer difficulty, it will disappear from your map forever. So get ready for such difficulties.

Preliminary robbery plan:

Here you can see your party members, their clothes, weapons and masks. You can buy weapons, modifications and change the mask if you want. After selecting the heist location, you can see Bane's plan. He will tell you what to do and what you will get if the robbery is successful. After that, select weapons, items and armor, and then press READY!

Weapons:

This shows your team's current weapons, secondary weapons, items, and armor prior to the heist.

Health:

Green circle next to your name and weapon/amount of weapon and ammunition for it. The small, thin white circle around your health is your shield. When your armor is broken, you will take damage to your health. Hide behind cover and wait for the shield to regenerate.

Stealth/Civil:

Stealth is the hardest part of the game. You start the heist without a mask (most of the time). It is better to go through the building and outline an action plan. After that, put on the mask (G) and start acting. When appears blue sign question, they will begin to suspect you, and if a red exclamation mark has already appeared, this will mean that they are ready to raise the alarm or call the police. At this time, you need to act quickly. Knock out the police with the butt (E), and order the civilians to lie with their faces on the floor (F), and then tie them up for complete safety. Also, you cannot kill civilians, otherwise you will receive a minus to your earned money.

Suspicion:

A very simple thing. The less weapons and armor you have, the less suspicion you arouse among civilians and police.

Waves of opponents:

If you were unable to complete your task secretly, then after a while the police, special forces, and so on will begin to fly into the task. The first wave can be delayed if you have a lot of hostages.

PRO work:

This work will be highlighted in red. If you fail it, you will not see this task again.

Arrest:

You will be arrested or knocked out if you get shot three times. Getting shot means losing your health three times and lying on the floor waiting for help. This can be prevented by using a first aid kit.

The escape:

The final chord of each task. If everything doesn’t go according to plan, then grab the bags and get out of this place. The radio will tell you where to run and which car/helicopter to jump into to leave the crime scene and divide the loot.

Mastermind- typical support. He carries medical bags with him. Can delay police officers for a while, tie up civilians, increase stamina for the entire team.

Strongman - brute force the whole team. Carries a pouch of ammo and has many weapon upgrades. If you love big guns and body armor, then this class is for you.

Technician- a typical geek and assistant for the whole team. May have mines, c4, sentry guns and many gadgets in his arsenal. A well-trained technician can crack safes and other locks in just a few seconds, so don't neglect this person.

Ghost- is a stealth character. If you are ready for stealth thefts and big jackpot, then take it with you. In his arsenal there is such a thing as ECM Jammer, thanks to which you can turn off all cameras or open safes (faster than using a drill), as well as many other goodies. Also, the ghost can stuff corpses into bags, which is very useful.

Cops/Enemies:

Cops are our worst enemies in this game. There are cops different types, and the more you sit in your favorite place, the more cops come towards you.

Ordinary policeman– a small threat, but can still cause harm.

Special Forces- trained guys. Usually there are several people walking around and can quickly destroy your armor. It's better to destroy it right away.

FBI- They are easy to kill, but they shoot very accurately and can annoy your team.

FBI level 2- very bad guys. As soon as you see them, immediately aim for the head, otherwise high levels difficulties, they can neutralize your entire team.

Snipers- very bad guys. They sit in secluded places and shoot at your command, fortunately they are very easily detected thanks to the laser sight. As soon as you see a laser sight, be careful.

Specialists– almost like ordinary cops, but not ordinary.

Shields- healthy guys who cover themselves with a shield. It’s impossible to kill him head-on, so go around from the flank or rear, and then fire a burst at the back.

Tasers– dressed in blue suits and large blue/black helmets. If they run up to you, they will stun you and you will shoot at random. If you find yourself alone surrounded by these guys, you can go have a smoke.

Raincoats– these guys are dangerous enemies, I tell you. They knock you out with one hit and are usually caught in groups. So be careful.

Bulldozers– they are usually called the “tanks” of the police, and for good reason. They wear huge EOD suits and can knock you to the ground with one hit. They have powerful guns and incredibly powerful armor. Aim for the head - that's the only thing vulnerable spot these monsters.

A couple of tips:

Suppressing Enemiesshoot at the police to subdue them. In 90% of cases, they will not fire back. Well, these are only the initial police officers, those who are cooler may shoot at you.

Assault group delaytie up the hostages. Tie as many as you can. The Mastermind, by the way, has a skill that allows him to tie up 10 hostages in one robbery.

Use medical bags and ammo bags wisely - you will be arrested if you fall three times in one robbery. Use medbags after your first or second fall to correct the situation.
